Chapter 13 - chapter 13

Max picked me up, his strong veiny hands held me to his chest bridal style as he carried me out of the house and walked back over to his. He took me to my room and placed me into the bed covering me with my blanket and kissing my forehead. Max whispered in my ear "do you like making me jealous princess?" as he pulled away from me ear, he nibbled it lightly before standing up beside my bed smirking down on me.

I was speechless and I could already feel a headache coming, before I knew it, I had blacked out. I must've been really tired because I didn't remember even falling asleep or anything but, in the morning, I woke up with a massive headache, as I lean over to my night stand, I grab the packet of Panadol and my bottle of water, I take the medication praying that my headache goes away.

I walk downstairs smelling freshly baked waffles, once I'm completely downstairs u glance at Max who is in the kitchen with his phone on the counter learning how to make waffles, one of my favourite foods. I smirked and let out a small laugh, he quickly tuned around hearing me and tried covering the pan, "morning sleep head" he said his voice was deep and calming, he looked so happy today. "morning" I replied as I walked over to the kitchen counter sitting at one of the stools that are set at the bench.

Max smiled handing me plate with two waffles and a scoop of ice cream on my plate, I smiled back and I started cutting my waffles and eating them. "What happened last night" I said my mouth full of food, Max's face suddenly dropped and although I remember almost everything, I just wanted to see the jealousy once more. "You hooked up with a guy and a saved you from him" he said through gritted teeth, "saved me" I said as I put my fork down and looked up at you. "y-yes..." he said with a slight blush on his face as he turned around to clean up his mess. "Aww thanks..." I said with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.

Max turned around proudly, he had the biggest smile on his face as if he was proud of himself, sometimes I think to myself is Max a 6-year-old in the body of a 27-year old's? "You're welcome" Max said proudly, I couldn't help but chuckle at his confidence, I honestly couldn't even bring the courage to tell him I remembered him coming in and fighting the guy I was in bed with. I smiled and finished my waffles and I hugged him.
