Chapter 1 - 001

Thunder Hallow

Jack Thunder, founder of the esteemed spy organization Thunder Hallow, had always been a mystery. Charismatic and brilliant, he built Thunder Hallow into a global force. But one day, he vanished.

His son, Wood Thunder, grew up without a father figure, left to navigate the complexities of his family's legacy. Wood's mother, Eva, remained tight-lipped about Jack's disappearance.

Years passed, and Wood became a skilled operative within Thunder Hallow. His latest mission began in Las Vegas.

Wood's objective was to eliminate Marcus Blackwood, a corrupt casino owner laundering money for organized crime. Wood infiltrated Blackwood's inner circle, gathering intel on his operations.

The night of the mission, Wood entered Blackwood's office, gun drawn. Blackwood sneered, but Wood remained focused.

"You've been playing with fire, Blackwood," Wood said, his voice cold.

Blackwood's pleas fell on deaf ears. Wood took him down, retrieving a valuable data drive.

The drive revealed Blackwood's ties to Victor Martinez, a notorious drug dealer in San Jose. Wood's next mission was clear.

Wood arrived in San Jose, tracking Victor to a suburban house. He approached cautiously, peering through the window. That's when he saw her – his step-sister, Maya.

Wood's training kicked in, but his personal life had just become painfully entangled with his mission. He decided to abort, prioritizing Maya's safety.

Without his gun, Wood followed Victor into the house through the window. Maya saw him and shouted, distracting Victor. Wood spotted a gun on the kitchen counter and seized it. In one swift motion, he shot Victor.

Maya's eyes widened in horror as Victor crumpled to the ground. Wood rushed to her side, explaining that he was her brother and Victor was a dangerous man.

Shaken, Maya accompanied Wood to Miami, where Thunder Hallow's headquarters was located. As they drove, Wood filled her in on his life as a spy.

Their conversation was interrupted by a sudden blockade. Masked men emerged from the surrounding cars. One stepped forward, removing his mask to reveal Victor – very much alive.

Wood's mind reeled. The gun on the counter had been loaded with rubber bullets. His real gun, mysteriously missing, had been stolen.

Another figure stepped forward, unmasking himself. Wood's eyes locked onto his father, Jack Thunder. The betrayal stung.

"It was all a plan, son," Jack said, his voice dripping with cunning. "Your sister here was kind enough to help us."

Maya's eyes met Wood's, her expression a mixture of guilt and defiance. Wood's world had been turned upside down.

"What's going on, Dad?" Wood demanded, his voice laced with anger and confusion.

Jack smiled. "It's time you knew the truth, Wood. Thunder Hallow's true purpose... and your role in it."
