Chapter 7 - Chapter : 7 [ Breaking Point ]

Scene 1: The Classroom Confrontation

At the back of the classroom, Lightning Thompson paused, just about to head to the football field for training. His eyes were fixed on something—or rather, someone.

"Thompson, what's wrong?" Mary Jane asked, stopping as well. She was here to support her new boyfriend during his football practice, but something had caught his attention.

She followed his gaze and saw her—Gwen Stacy.

Mary Jane's face hardened. No girlfriend wants to see her boyfriend staring at another girl. She had always bent over backward to keep Thompson happy, terrified of losing him and being ostracized. But this? This, she couldn't tolerate.

Without thinking, she stepped in front of Thompson, blocking his view with a sharp, angry motion.

"Thompson!" she snapped, eyes blazing.

He blinked, startled out of his daze. For a moment, embarrassment flashed across his face, but it quickly vanished behind a smug grin. His arms circled around Mary Jane in a mockingly gentle embrace.

"Hey, Jane. You know better," Thompson's voice was soft, but his words were as cold as ice. "You don't interfere in my business. We had an understanding, remember?"

Mary Jane froze, her chest tightening. She had given so much for this relationship, but Thompson's words stung worse than she ever expected. She had played the part of Cinderella, the girl who got the popular guy. But now? It felt like he saw her as nothing more than a toy.

Her eyes watered, a pit forming in her stomach. This—this wasn't right. She couldn't pretend anymore.

"Thompson, you… you jerk!" she yelled, trying to break free from his grasp.

But Thompson held on tighter, his lips curling into a twisted smile. "Really, Jane? Don't forget all the things I've done for you. You're not going anywhere after all the gifts I've given you."

Mary Jane stopped struggling, her body going limp in his arms. Her heart shattered. This wasn't love. It never had been.

Scene 2: Peter's Courage

From across the room, Peter Parker watched the scene unfold, his blood boiling. His fists clenched at his sides as he saw Thompson treat Mary Jane—the girl he had secretly loved for years—like a possession.

Before Peter knew what he was doing, he stood up, heart pounding in his chest.

"Thompson! Leave her alone!" Peter's voice rang out, shaking slightly but filled with determination.

The entire class went silent. Even Gwen turned her head to see what was happening.

Thompson stared at Peter for a moment, confused. Then, realization dawned, and his expression twisted into anger and disbelief. Was this nerd seriously challenging him?

"Puny Parker?" Thompson sneered, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "You think you can tell me what to do?"

He stomped over to Peter, grabbing him by the collar. Peter, heart racing, didn't flinch.

With a cruel grin, Thompson lifted Peter off the ground, his muscles bulging.

"You better listen, Parker," Thompson growled, his voice low. "Mary Jane's mine. Interfere again, and I'll show you just how cruel I can be."

He slammed Peter against the door with a loud bang, the impact knocking the wind out of Peter's lungs.

Scene 3: The Turning Point

In the back of the room, Gwen glanced at Luya, who was watching the scene unfold with quiet intensity. She nudged him with her elbow.

"Aren't you going to help him?" she asked, her eyes flicking between Peter and Thompson.

Luya, standing with his arms crossed, gave a small shake of his head. "Peter has to face this. It's how he grows."

Gwen raised an eyebrow but said nothing. She'd never really understood Luya's way of thinking, but she couldn't deny there was something different about him.

As Peter struggled to his feet, Thompson laughed, clearly enjoying the attention. But then, in his arrogance, he made a fatal mistake.

"I guess only your cowardly Uncle Ben could raise a coward like you, Parker," Thompson spat, laughing cruelly.

The room went deathly silent.

Luya's calm expression turned dark. Gwen saw the shift in his demeanor and felt her pulse quicken. She had never seen him like this before.

Peter, eyes blazing with fury, lunged at Thompson. "You take that back! Don't you dare insult Uncle Ben!"

But before Peter could make contact, Thompson shoved him hard, sending him crashing out of the classroom.

Scene 4: The Punch

Thompson barely had time to bask in his triumph before a blur of movement caught his eye. Luya's fist came out of nowhere, slamming into Thompson's jaw with a sickening crack.

Boom!

The impact sent Thompson flying into a row of desks, knocking them over like dominoes. He scrambled to his feet, holding his now-swollen face, eyes wide with shock.

"You!" Thompson snarled, trying to sound tough, but his voice shook.

Luya's voice was ice cold, his glare piercing. "I warned you, Thompson. You should've listened."

The room was filled with stunned whispers.

"Did… did Luya just knock out Lightning Thompson?" one student murmured.

"Wasn't he supposed to be the strongest guy in school?" another whispered, eyes wide in disbelief.

Scene 5: Gwen's Curiosity

Gwen's eyes sparkled with intrigue as she watched Luya. This wasn't the same quiet, reserved guy she'd seen sitting in the back of the classroom day after day. No, this was something different—something… powerful.

She bit her lip, curiosity burning in her chest. Luya wasn't like anyone else she'd met, and now, she wanted to know more.

And so, as the dust settled in the classroom, one thing became clear: this was only the beginning. Peter's strength, Luya's mysterious power, and the growing tension between them all—this was just the start of something much, much bigger.
