Chapter 28 - Unique individuals

[POV: Zora.]

The Supreme Sovereign created the Origin Academy of Dawn, a prestigious institution that stood as a beacon of hope and knowledge in the present world.

This was no ordinary academy; it was founded by the overlord who had triumphed in countless wars and achieved victories that echoed through the ages. The Supreme Sovereign was a figure of unimaginable power, far surpassing the monarchs of this realm, who wielded almost absolute authority.

This remarkable being was responsible for the creation of the great world of Anovolda, a higher realm of nine levels filled with wonders and mysteries.

Among all their creations, this academy was their favorite place within a magnificent castle in the very core adorned with riches beyond imagination.

They held the title of the Sovereign of Existence, a being far above even the so-called gods, and they had brought forth miracles that defied comprehension.

From this castle, which served as the heart of the academy, flowed miracle gates that connected various worlds to this fate-blessed land.

The Garden of Dawn, a cherished creation of theirs within this magnificent palace, symbolized new beginnings. Witnessing the first light of dawn in this sacred place was believed to hold profound significance even in this era where They were not present anymore.

It was said that those fortunate enough to arrive here and witness the rising sun before embarking on their journey at the academy would receive blessings to help them achieve their deepest desires.

For many, being present in this garden was considered the greatest honor. Even the headmaster, who had lived for over nine hundred years while maintaining this esteemed institution, held a deep affection for this place.

The abundance of riches, elixirs, and miraculous plants in this endless valley paled in comparison to the thought of receiving a blessing from their revered ancestor—a notion that might ignite a passionate fire in anyone's hearts.

'As for me, I wasn't someone of pure blood or special lineage like most people that have gathered here; I was just a succubus with talents in magic, swordsmanship, and perhaps seduction.'

Aside from those abilities, I was an average student like everyone else. In fact, I didn't even know who my parents were or what had become of them.

'I often wondered if they were alive or if I had been left behind somewhere no mortal would want to be in, but… those thoughts are meaningless.'

Every time I looked into my darling Rian's eyes and asked myself about my origins, I felt as if I could receive an answer in an instant if I could just ask him.

But deep down, I knew I wasn't strong enough to confront those truths… who I truly was or what had happened to my parents, or even if I had parents at all.

Yet, those thoughts were irrelevant at this moment as the silent valley began to fill with gasps of awe as the sun completed its ascent, casting vibrant colors across the landscape.

'This miraculous spectacle was a blessing in itself.'

This valley was breathtaking and seemingly endless, with a sky that stretched down over us like an embrace. A while ago, Rian had agreed with me about wanting to touch those clouds gathering at the edges of this seemingly infinite valley, so we'll go and do that later.

The ultimate goal for all who gathered at this sacred site, a favorite of the great ancestor, was to witness this marvelous view firsthand.

As the headmaster told us earlier, on this day, students like us could collect herbs around the valley or even forge connections with special individuals destined to become leaders in their respective fields who come here.

Among the students present here right now, just like Raphael and Miyu, there were all kinds of Purebloods present here.

Just like Miyu and Raphael, there was also a princess from the twelfth higher plains, a direct descendant of the twelfth monarch, and an owl who claimed to be a great-grandchild of the monarchs from the endless sky.

Then there was a human boy named Jin who appeared to be the youngest among us but possessed an unparalleled maturity due to his martial arts training. Like me, he wasn't related to any monarchs yet still exhibited remarkable strength and prowess.

Everyone here was fascinating in their own right, and miraculously, Rian seemed to know each one personally. He even introduced me to them despite my lack of connections to such powerful individuals… though the fact that all of them found Rain unique stood true.

Meeting new people, especially these strong classmates, was an exhilarating experience for me. Making friends and acquaintances while engaging in combat with new opponents was something I had always enjoyed but… until now, I've never dared to pursue that passion until now.

Now though, standing before these formidable figures who had undergone rigorous training and lived diverse lives across different dimensions filled me with both excitement and anticipation.

This academy existed precisely for encounters like these—to meet various people and forge lasting friendships.

Though one could also seek out romantic partners here, that aspect had already been fulfilled for me.

'Rian was enough, though of course, I knew we will have more joining us as we stay here.'

I had found the most incredible partner anyone could ever wish for— someone who understood how to interact effortlessly with all these diverse individuals from various realms.

It felt Surreal witnessing many male faces blush around us because of me; it added an adorable layer to our gathering when the ladies couldn't take their eyes away from my partner~.

Everyone present recognized that this man, my darling with deep ocean-like eyes, was indeed the strangest among us.

'Those who wielded swords were surprised by how despite his lack of any observable mastery of any weapon, he was the one that trained me. And, the same was true with those who got to know about his creation magic.'

No one dared to act foolishly around him; instead, many sought to test just how extraordinary he truly was. To their delight—and ours—we all gained new insights from my remarkable darling.

'He told us, and anyone who wanted to know more about anything, be it about themselves or their awakening, he did not hesitate to guide them in any manner.'

They formed circles around him, asking questions they were eager to know while sharing their thoughts on various topics.

'Although I couldn't grasp every detail they discussed, it was evident that they were captivated by him, his knowledge, and his understanding of such diverse subjects.'

Rian spoke several native languages fluently—Elven, Celestial, Demonic—and even Dragon speech when it came to magic! He enchanted every being present with his knowledge and charisma.

"Alright, everyone…"

People opened up to him as if they had known him for years; he transformed this gathering into something far more enjoyable than I had anticipated.

"How about we wrap this up now?"

Time passed smoothly until it was almost time for our entrance exam when suddenly the headmaster's voice rang out clearly across the crowd.

"Hmm?"

"Is it time already?"

"Mister Adrian, can you please answer-."

He seemed unfazed by our enthusiasm; instead, he stepped back from us as we clamored around Rian like children seeking wisdom from someone greater than ourselves… a scene the headmaster appeared to relish.

"Looks like your first test will start soon," he announced warmly. "Please make a line and proceed through this portal if you can't use teleportation spells."

Most students expressed disappointment at having to part ways so soon but understood we would meet again later.

"Man… I didn't get the chance to ask anything."

"Miyu? Didn't you ask the most questions already?"

"Shut up Raph."

We exchanged warm goodbyes filled with anticipation.

"See you all later~."

While I was going to stay with him for a little more, the rest of them had to go now.

We still had to go see the clouds below us, so that was but but…

This marked our conclusion at this little gathering—the long-awaited entrance exam would soon commence, so I started my mental preparations.

Having witnessed all these powerful individuals made me confident about securing my place in that special class. And later when we were playing with the ethereal clouds…

"Hehehe," a quiet laugh escaped my lips as I caught sight of Rian's helpless smile.

He knew I was thinking about Our 'classmates' so, he couldn't help his playful smile anymore.
