Aurelia was done for the day.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning—the birds were singing, the flowers swayed in the wind, and the sky resembled a watercolor masterpiece with hues of pink, gold, and blue. The gorgeous scene was eye candy. Not Alena, though.
She had cried the entire night so her mascara was still all over her face, her eyes were bulging and red, and her skin was pink and wrinkly from the stress.
After a whole day, she still shook with fury just at the thought of Aurelia. Then, she would shake even more at the thought of her incompetent husband not being strong enough to stop the fight of yesterday's event. After, she would become a human vibrator at the thought of her useless son not lifting even a finger to help her.
Alena couldn't understand why the men around her did absolutely nothing to support her. Currently, she was screaming while punching a pillow in one of her many guest rooms, imagining it to be Aurelia, Alexei, and Sarov all morphed into one ugly human.
"You take that, you bitch!" she yelled. "And you take that, too! I never should've married your—pus—sy—ass!" She punched on every syllable she said.
"Hunny!" Sarov yelled from outside of the room. "Please, come out! I'm sorry!"
"Fuck off and let me be vulnerable for once, damn it!" she screamed. "You never let me be honest and vulnerable, at least allow me to scream now!"
Now she was kicking and stomping on the pillow.
"Lena, please," Sarov begged. "Come out. I can make you scream another way."
"You pervert!" she shouted. "I don't want to waste my energy making another useless child!"
But then after a few seconds, she calmed down and thought about what her husband had said.
"Actually, maybe I do. Come in."

Alexei was close to tears in his large, luxurious room with clean white walls and real gold accents. He was lying on his king-sized bed with only the most sumptuous sheets and beautiful blankets imported from Italy. And even with all these fortunes, he was still not happy.
As Alexei laid his head on his pillow, he sighed at the thought of the event that took place the day before. He wished he could say that he did something to stop the fight like a man should, but he knew that would be a lie.Â
Let me see what's going on with the news, Alexei thought. Let me get my mind off things.
He grabbed his phone which was meticulously placed in the middle of his nightstand and searched his name up on Google. This was one of his favorite things to do because every news website had nothing but positives to say about him. It was either about his net worth, how successful he was, or what business move he might make next.Â
Alexei's favorite headline had been, "The World's Youngest Billionaire: At 24 Years Old, Alexei Morozova Dominates the Computer Science Industry!"
He loved being an educator and working on little apps and games, but this wasn't his calling and had never been what he wanted to do.Â
It's whatever though, Alexei thought. At least I still have the attention!
After searching his name up, Alexei smiled, expecting to see the typical news articles that loved to kiss his ass. However, his smile quickly faded as his eyebrows furrowed when he saw his mother's name where his name should be.
Why the hell is her name here...? he wondered. It should be mine! I searched my own name up!
Annoyed, Alexei clicked on the news article and read the headline.
"Alena Morozova Attacked at Jim Burton's Wedding! ...By His Bride!!"
His eyes widened.Â
I thought that the wedding was a private event! Alexei thought. Who the hell would release the events to the public?! Now my mom and dad are gonna get clowned! And me too! What if my parents sue the bride, my future wife?
He shut his eyes and tried his best not to yell and panic. He needed to be calm.
Box breathing, Alexei thought. Breathe in, hold, breathe out, hold.
After a few minutes, he was composed. Knowing that his mother was still angrier than a bear awoken from hibernation, Alexei decided to wait until she calmed down to reveal the news article to her.Â
He yawned and carefully placed his phone in the middle of his nightstand. Weirdly, even though Alexei had just woken up, he still felt tired. All he wanted to do was take a fat nap, but he knew that wasn't an option for the world's youngest billionaire. Alexei stretched out and walked to his desk to continue the code for a video game, the project that was supposed to be his biggest and most successful yet—"Bloodlust: Deathmatch Arena."

SMACK!
"And what is your little drunk ass doing in my house?!"Â
Aurelia cried out in pain. "Agh! Mom, what the hell!"
"No, what the hell is your cunt ass doing in my house? Leave before I slap you again! And trust me, I'll smack your face harder than those man whores who smack your ass!"
A pillow was repeatedly whacked on Aurelia's head and waist.
"Stop, Mom!"
"I thought I said I never wanna see your ass again!"
Aurelia started to cry. "Stop! Please, Mom, let me explain!"
She wiped her tears as the whacking stopped. A short, skinny woman towered over Aurelia lying on her bed, still wearing her poofy, expensive wedding dress. She scowled as Aurelia started to weep again.
"You better start explaining right the fuck now or I'm gonna throw you out of my house—again! And you already know I'm not exaggerating!"
"I'm- I'm sorry, mummy!" Aurelia cried.
Aurelia's mother sighed and sat down on the bed as guilt swamped her being. Her face softened looking at her daughter's eyes, red from crying. She caressed her cheek softly.
"No, I'm sorry," Aurelia's mother said quietly. "I don't know what I was thinking to hit and scream at you like that."
Aurelia wiped her tears and sat up. "Mom, did you take your meds last night?"
"N-No, mi corazĂłn," her mother muttered shamefully. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Aurelia replied, smiling softly.
After everything that had happened, she still managed to smile. Aurelia loved it whenever her mother, Antonella, would call her "mi corazĂłn." It reminded her that her mother still thought of her as "her heart" even after all the terrible sins she had committed.
"You should take them now, reina."
Antonella beamed. She loved being called a queen, especially by her daughter. "Okay, Aurelia. I will." Antonella looked at her daughter's face and frowned. "You should go... clean up. You can tell me everything that happened when you finish. I will have breakfast done by then."
Aurelia nodded but abruptly stopped when she felt a sharp pain on the right side of her neck.
Fuck, it hurts to nod? she thought. What the hell even happened last night...?
Once her mother left the room, Aurelia slowly crawled out of bed. Everything hurt. She felt as if every bone in her body had been broken and put back together.
Somehow, Aurelia managed to ignore the pain and trudge to a small bathroom. The urge to pee was strong, and she was thankful that she didn't wet herself when sleeping.Â
Aurelia quickly lifted the lid and peed to her heart's content. After flushing the toilet, she brushed her teeth and stripped to take a shower. As soon as she was naked, she looked at her body in the bathroom mirror.
Shit, Aurelia thought, what in the hell happened last night?! I'm covered in bruises and there is dried blood all over me! I looked like a used pad!
She softly grazed her hand over her chest and stomach—but stopped when she winced in pain.
I'm in so much pain, fuck. Fuck! Fuck! Shit! Agh! Why'd I even agree to marry that old fuck in the first place? I hate old people! I better be in less pain after taking my shower, or else!
Aurelia stepped into the bathtub and took a long, hot shower, wishing she could live, die, and rot in there for eternity, never to be seen again.
