Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Yellow hair is just an attribute, not hair color

The System—ugh! —had bound itself to Hyūga Seiji from the very first day he transmigrated into this world.

As a child of the Hyūga branch family, Seiji wisely kept a low profile, blending into the background and living a quiet life within the Hyūga clan for six years.

It wasn't until a few days ago, when a command from the main family and a letter of admission from the ninja academy arrived simultaneously, that he finally unlocked his first Target.

Driven by his obsessive need to eliminate that red notification dot, Seiji immediately opened the achievement system.

[Hyūga Hinata]

[Achievement Unlocked: First Day (Become a student at the ninja academy)]

[Reward: Pending Collection]

The achievement system was structured like a tree, with a clear main storyline that included becoming a Genin, a Chūnin, a Jōnin, the Hokage, and further unlockable achievements down the line.

Along this main storyline, there were many hidden side quests that could only be discovered through Seiji's own exploration, much like hidden achievements in a game.

In his mind, Seiji silently thought: "Claim Reward."

[Reward being distributed…]

[Bloodline Concentration Enhancement received.]

As soon as the mechanical voice fell silent, Seiji felt a refreshing surge of energy being pumped from his heart to the rest of his body. The feeling was invigorating, like the rush of victory after a hard-fought battle, deeply satisfying.

However... just like love, the sensation came swiftly and disappeared just as fast.

It was a fleeting euphoria that, in retrospect, left nothing behind. Seiji had no idea what level his bloodline concentration had reached, as he had no reference point for comparison.

Before long, the noise outside the classroom grew louder.

Inuzuka Kiba's eyes gleamed with anticipation as the classroom door finally swung open, and a kid with spiky hair and a perpetually sleepy look on his face was tossed inside.

A chubby boy and a blonde girl with a beautiful ponytail followed him in, revealing a middle-aged man with the same spiky hair standing outside the door with a stern expression.

After a brief conversation between Iruka Umino and the man, Iruka left the classroom alongside him.

As soon as they left, Akimichi Chōji yanked Nara Shikamaru up from the ground, dragging him toward the back of the classroom while asking, "Shikamaru, did your dad just mention the Hokage?"

Shikamaru nodded lazily, "Seems like they went to pick someone up."

Chōji wanted to ask more, but seeing Shikamaru's disinterested expression, he swallowed his questions.

Meanwhile, Yamanaka Ino, walking behind them, scanned the classroom and immediately spotted another girl—Hyūga Hinata. She swiftly abandoned Chōji and Shikamaru, sat beside Hinata, and cheerfully introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm Yamanaka Ino."

"I'm Hyūga Hinata," Hinata replied, surprising Seiji with how she spoke normally instead of stuttering, though her voice was still soft.

"This little dog is so cute! What's its name?" Ino smoothly found a topic to continue their conversation.

Soon after, Chōji and Shikamaru joined them, sitting in the row behind. Not long after, a mischievous hand reached over and tapped both Seiji and Kiba on their shoulders.

As they turned around, an open bag of chips was handed to them, accompanied by Chōji's voice.

"I'm Akimichi Chōji, and this is my friend Nara Shikamaru."

"You can call me Inuzuka Kiba!" Kiba responded, grabbing a handful of chips, causing Chōji's chubby face to show a hint of regret.

"I'm Hyūga Seiji," Seiji said as he took only a small amount of chips, earning him a favorable impression from Chōji.

Seeing that Shikamaru still hadn't lifted his head, Chōji smiled and explained, "He's just not fully awake yet. Shikamaru's actually a really good guy..."

Gradually, the classroom filled with more students, most of whom had already formed little cliques before the start of school and were now playing amongst themselves.

Then, a boy in a black short-sleeved shirt with spiky hair entered the room, his face expressionless as his eyes scanned the classroom with a hint of arrogance.

"So, I have to study with these people?"

'Tch, none of them even come close to being as good as my brother', he thought to himself as he walked straight to the front of the classroom, hands in his pockets.

His aloof demeanor naturally irritated many in the room, but before anyone could voice their discontent, a high-pitched voice interrupted.

"He's so handsome!"

One girl's impulsive shout sent a ripple through the classroom, as all the girls—except one—began screaming in unison, "So handsome!"

Oh, but there was indeed one exception.

Sitting beside Seiji, Hinata didn't join in the excitement. In fact, she seemed utterly perplexed by the behavior.

"Ino, are you under a Genjutsu or something?" Hinata timidly asked.

Ino shamelessly admitted, "No, I'm just fangirling."

"Fangirling? What does that mean?"

Ino thought for a moment and explained, "It's when a girl sees a handsome guy, feels shy, and starts having all sorts of weird thoughts or even screams uncontrollably."

Hinata processed Ino's words carefully but still couldn't fully understand the behavior.

At that moment, the classroom door opened again, but this time it wasn't a student who entered—it was Iruka Umino.

The moment their teacher walked in, the entire classroom fell silent.

Iruka didn't seem particularly happy, but as he looked at the group of students, he forced a smile.

He walked to the center of the room and wrote his name on the blackboard.

"My name is Iruka Umino, and I will be your teacher for the next six years."

After that, Iruka motioned toward the door. It was only then that the students noticed a boy standing there, clinging to the door frame, timidly peeking into the room with half of his face visible. His blue eyes were filled with a mixture of longing and hope.

The instant they saw him, whispers spread across the classroom.

Hinata gazed into those deep blue eyes and suddenly felt she understood a little of what Ino had meant by "fangirling."

But then, out of nowhere, a careless question from beside her gripped her heart like a vice.

"Seiji, what's that blue mark on your forehead?"

The slight blush on Hinata's cheeks drained away in an instant, leaving her face as pale as her eyes.

And every expression in the classroom was caught in the sight of Uzumaki Naruto.
