Xeno slowly floated down from the air ,when his legs touched the ground, xeno deactivated his reikan.
'So this is the city'
After xeno walked a few hundred meters, he saw a big gate in front of him.
The gate was very tall, it had numerous symbols on its blue frames, the symbols made xeno feel as if the gate was standing for a thousand years and would continue to stand forever.
Beside the gate was a gigantic blue barrier that protected the city from the terrifying monsters that roamed the outside world.
In front of the gate, there were a lot of flying cars waiting in front of the gates.
And between every two or three gates were multiple crowds of people who had traveled a long distance to arrive to this city.
Most of these people were adventurers who survived hardship after hardship to reach their destination.
Each group of people or car took about fifteen minutes to enter the gates, the officers stationed in front of the gates were very strict and checked each person's city pass.
At first, xeno was last in line, but after a few minutes, multiple groups came behind him .
After waiting for an hour or two, it was finally xeno's turn to enter.
"City pass!"
An officer wearing a blue police outfit asked xeno for his pass.
Xeno gave him the pass.
"A …vip pass!" The officer had a shocked expression on his face "sir ,your should have entered from the vip entrance ,this gate is not suited for your grandness!"
'Vip pass? Master did say that he had connections and would be able to give me a pass to enter any city, but I didn't think his relationships were so deep he could get me vip'
"So... I have to go to another gate to enter?"
"No sir! You can enter from here ,its just that there's an entrance dedicated to vip ,so you wouldn't have had to wait" the officer checked the picture on the pass then looked at xeno "welcome to celestial city sir!"
After xeno took his pass from the officer ,he finally took a step into a city for the first time in ten years.
As soon as xeno entered the city ,he saw dozens of tall buildings on his right and left.
Above him were air roads, where flying cars were passing by, there were red cars, blue cars, some cars had weird designs and funky shapes, but no car had wheels.
Xeno was walking on a road made for people who came through the normal gate.
After xeno walked for a few meters, he saw many shops on his right and left.
The shops were of all different shapes and sizes.
There were shops for men clothes, women clothes.There were also shops for high technology devices ,there was even a shop for vehicles like flying cars.
'So thats a car …..that device can give you any information you want?!1 …..a device that can change your clothes instantly!…..what tall building ,did humans build this?….'
Xeno was overwhelmed by all of these things that he had never seen in his life.
Although the basics were teached to him by his master ,he had only heard about these things from him ,or seen them in textbooks but never in person.
Several adventurers that entered through the gate were already going to the shops to buy their needs.
'I need to find the guild'
Xeno had not gotten any money from his master .
'Couldn't he have given me a little at least?!'
Veldor told him that with his strength ,xeno just had to register in a guild and complete some missions to get money, so he wouldn't need any money from him.
Xeno walked for about three hours until he found the guild , he got lost a couple of time trying to read the confusing map.
It was easy outside because he just had to go straight to reach the city, but to reach the guild ,there were building in his way, and he couldn't just destroy them, and so he had to take many detours to reach it.
The guild was very big ,around the large door, there were names of people, available for all those who wish to enter the guild to see.
'The names of the strongest adventurers?"
After xeno entered the building ,he saw several extremely big screens floating close to the roof of the guild. Each of the screens had different missions and each screen had a different color around it.
'Oh, so this was what he meant, green is the least dangerous, even normal people with no reikan can complete it. yellow is a little more dangerous, it requires to be physically strong in order to complete without reikan. The Blue missions, only those who posses reikan can do and its missions are too much even for the strongest regular human but even beginner who just started using reikan can complete. Red colored missions require months of training with reikan to complete .as for purple colored missions, only those who are masters can complete them , the missions not only require years of training with reikan, they also require strong unique abilities to be able to achieve the mission.'
Xeno walked to the reception .
" I want to see the list of purple missions"
"Purple missions ?! The last purple mission completed was two years ago ,which shows how hard they are. Are you sure you want a purple mission sir?" The girl at the reception, had a face of shock and surprise on her face.
"Yes I do" xeno replied nonchalantly.
"O…okay then, please your purple Mastercard"
"Purple mastercard?"
"Yes, the card used to accept missions.. is this perhaps your first time at a guild sir?"
Xeno thought for a while, veldor never mentioned anything about a Mastercard .
'Don't tell me that idiot of a master forgot?'
"How can I get one ?"
The girl pointed at a room in the building then said " you need to take the placement test to determine your reikan volume, density and unique ability. Then, based on that, the committee will give you a corresponding Mastercard to your level"
"Placement test, huh…" xeno had a deep look of contemplating on his face.
