Duncan finished his call, when he entered back in the living room he could feel the tension in the living room.
"What's going on?" He asked lifting his left eyes brows .
Almost 10seconds passed before one replied.
"Nothing Duncan, we were joking" said amber-ruby with a wide smile "isn't it Eva?" She added .
Eva didn't reply, she went out of the living room with her face twisted displeased, Her brother looked at her, He wasn't understanding what happening to her sister. When he left this living room she was very happy but now she is displeased . Her two friends, Mira and Lisa followed her.
"She is okay?" Duncan asked to amber-ruby.
"Yes. Apparently, Eva doesn't likes jokes" she said still with her smile. She approaches near Duncan " Aren't you inviting for a visit of your estate?" She asked trying to change the subject.
Duncan lifted his eyebrow.
"Logane, you know this estate as your pocket" he said.
'Damn! I forgot that Logane use to come here' she thought
"It's different because you're the one guiding me" she said softly.
He blushed a little and took her hand gently as they directed themselves to the garden first.
They visited all the estate, Duncan was making amber-ruby to laugh. He was so funny , caring. When she felt tired , he carries her like a baby and they continued their walk. Her , that didn't want to come here , find herself laughing and having fun with Duncan.
Their estate was very big and beautiful . They had also several servants just as in the castle but in the castle they were many. They had a swimming pool, a basketball field and a tennis field. Duncan showed to Amber-ruby his personal gym that had another door that entered directly in his chamber.
They came back in the living room, the servant announced to them that them that the dinner was ready. They directed themselves in the dining room.
Inside the dining room, Duncan and Amber-ruby remarked that Evariste, Mira and Lisa wasn't there.
"Where's my sister?" He asked worried
"In her room. Her friends left since" the servant replied.
"She's not coming for dinner?" He asked
"I don't know Sir" the servant replied.
"You think that she's sick?" He asked to Amber-ruby this time
"Maybe she's not feeling fine" amber-ruby shrugged.
"Sure. I will go and see her later" he added
She nooded and smiled.
"Excuse me Duncan, I'm going to wash off" she stood up from her chair and get out.
At the moment, she closed the door behind her. Someone grabbed her.
"Why did you do that?" Logane said
"I thought you were in your chamber" amber-ruby said
Logane narrowed her eyes . She was furious due to the words that amber-ruby uttered during the journey .
"Why did you talk to me that way , Logane?" She asked again.
Amber-ruby get off her grab and then replied.
"You're the one that started" she replied "I thought you were my friend but I can see that is wasn't the case" she added.
"There's something that has changed on you. Logane , you're not the same" she said her face softened a little leaving place to a perplexed one.
"What do you mean by Im not the same? Oh you would've preferred that I allow you to humiliate me?" Amber-ruby said then she crossed her arms and added " Why did you act that way toward your so friend"
She didn't reply at the moment but then she finally spoke after few minutes. " I did that because you don't want anymore that I married your brother, you're no more on my side , Logane ." She answered
Amber-ruby eyes first widened because she was stunned then she laughed.
"What's so funny?" Eva asked, her too was surprised with the sudden laughter of Amber-ruby
"Because you're saying that I'm not more on your side. What makes you said that?" She asked wiping de drop of tears on her eyes due to the laughing.
"During the party organized for Ace, when I said that he will be my future husband, you didn't reply enthusiastically as you used to do and yesterday when I touched his hand, you rolled your eyes" she explained sadly
"Oh it's just that?! That day I was having certain problems so I was in the mood of been enthusiastic as you said and the other day excess of romance was just killing my eyes that's why I rolled my eyes" she explained back
Evariste wasn't convinced but she just left it that way. Her reply didn't satisfy her but she was glad to hear it.
"Sure?" Eva asked
"Yes" amber-ruby smiled and touched her left shoulder "Don't worry Eva, The person Ace will get married too is not my problem, it's his. You know if I have to choose it will be you" she added
'I saw your real face Eva, you don't deserve to enter in this family'
Eva had a wide smiled on her face. She finally decided to eat with them. They had a nice dinner, Duncan was happy to see that his sister has regain her joy.
Duncan escorted Amber-ruby to the castle. He parked in front of the steps. They were out of the car.
"I had a good journey, thank you" amber-ruby said
"Me too.. I thought we will have nothing to say since we lost sight of each other at 13years old but it was different"
He approached her and then kissed her on her cheek.
She blushed.
"Good night Duncan" she smiled
"Good night my princess" he climbed his car and left.
She climbed the stairs of the entrance, smiling. Her herself was wondering why she was so happy.
Everyone in the castle was sleeping except the guards. So, she tried not to make noises.
She entered in her chambre, whistling and having a wide smile on her face. She on the light, when she turned, she saw someone sitting on her bed that make her to jump in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" She asked holding her chest because the person frightened her.
She saw an Ace on her bed, shirtless, fixing her and scanning her as if he wanted to see through her soul.
