Chapter 18: Phoenix

Over the past two days, the once grumpy house-elf had transformed into the perfect butler. Dudley's secret? Brainwashing the elf with a movie.

He, Harry, Susan, and Mipsy (in disguise) went to the cinema to watch one of London's most famous spy movies. Ever since, Mipsy had declared himself as Agent 001.

Dudley even considered gifting Mipsy a tuxedo, but the elf refused, saying it would break the bond between him and the House of Bones.

"Dudley, are you trying to steal my house-elf?" Susan asked, visibly upset.

"No, Susan, I just want your elf to become the king of elves," Dudley replied, trying to calm her down.

"But the clothes would break the connection between the House of Bones and Mipsy. Don't tell me you didn't know about this! Are you sabotaging our house?" Dudley hadn't realized how terrifying Susan could be when angry.

"Ahhh, I've got an idea. Mipsy, do you still want to become Agent 001?" Dudley asked, quickly trying to shift the mood.

"Mipsy wants to become Agent 001," Mipsy replied eagerly.

"Okay, you can use magic. Now, look at this tuxedo and imagine your current clothes transfigured into it." Mipsy focused on the tuxedo, recalling the spy movie, and cast a spell on his own clothes.

"Wallaoeh," his attire transformed into a sharp tuxedo.

"I am Agent 001," Mipsy declared, striking a stylish pose like a secret agent.

"Wow, Mipsy," Dudley's eyes lit up as he admired the transformation. "Susan, can you give Mipsy to me? He's the coolest house-elf I've ever seen."

Without warning, Susan smacked Dudley on the head with a water bottle. "This shameless boy really pushes me to the limit," she muttered.

"Ouch! Don't hit me! Mipsy's still yours," Dudley whined.

Pop! The sound of Apparition echoed through the room. Ever since Susan started living here, they heard that sound almost every day. Apparition, a magical form of transportation, produced a noise ranging from a small pop to a loud crack—depending on the skill of the wizard. The more skilled they were, the quieter their Apparition.

"Hello, Mr. Potter and Mr. Dursley," greeted Amelia as she appeared. "What are you all doing?"

"Oh, we're fine. Just look at your house-elf," Dudley said, pointing at Mipsy.

Amelia turned to see her house-elf, now dressed in a tuxedo, and suddenly became furious.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

"We've transformed your house-elf, and now he's become the king of House Elves," Dudley said with a smile.

"YOU MEAN BY GIVING HIM CLOTHES AND FREEING HIM?"

"Nooo, Mipsy is still a House of Bones elf," Mipsy said, shocked by Amelia's question.

"But you got new clothes," Amelia pointed out.

"Madam, these aren't new clothes. Master Dudley taught Mipsy to look hygienic and wear proper clothes to become the king of house-elves. These are actually old clothes; I used magic to transfigure them," Mipsy replied.

"Ohhh."

"Hahahahaha, Madam Amelia, look at your face," Dudley laughed.

"Enough, Mr. Dursley," Amelia said.

"I'm sorry for my cousin's prank, Madam Amelia," Harry Potter apologized.

"It's okay. I came here to discuss something with you. I need to meet Sirius Black. We might have a chance to free him, but I need to meet with him first," said Amelia.

Hearing this, Harry Potter's eyes lit up.

After Madam Amelia going to work, Dudley decided to going into his briefcase.

"Dudley, since when did you have a Phoenix?" asked Susan.

"Oh, I caught him before, and he loves to stay here," Dudley lied. This Phoenix was actually a quest reward from Hogwarts Legacy, and he had managed to tame one.

Luckily, before the final game, his brother had completed all the side quests in Hogwarts Legacy, so Dudley got the best of both worlds.

"What? It's not easy to tame one. Do you know the only person known to have a Phoenix is Headmaster Dumbledore?" Susan said in disbelief.

"I know, that's why I'm special—I'm Dudley Dursley," Dudley said, laughing. "Muehehehehe."

"Harry, are you sure your cousin's brain is alright?" asked Susan.

"I... I think he's alright, but he is weird," Harry replied.

"Come on, don't look from afar. Come here, Sonic," Dudley called his Phoenix to come closer.

It then flew towards Dudley's arm.

"Wow, it's beautiful and looks stronger than Dumbledore's Phoenix," said Harry.

"Have you ever had a chance to see Dumbledore's Phoenix?" asked Susan.

"Yeah, it happened many times when I went to his office."
