It was a normal, boring day. I woke up at 7 a.m. to take a bus to high school, where I was a freshman this year. The day went as usual. I went to my classes and then came home.
I felt like doing exercises, so I went jogging along the road. After a couple of minutes, I heard a honk and boom, I was dead. I woke up in a strange white space and thought to myself that it seemed like a typical reincarnation that came from web novels.
'Maybe I will be granted a couple of wishes' I thought. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, a very handsome being appeared. 'At least it's not a goddess.' I thought. He had white hair and a pair of angel wings or not. Well, black wings might be angel wings, who knows?
The being said he will grant me 5 wishes. I thought he would say something about how I didn't react to myself dying. The reason I appear to not care is that I was very excited to be reincarnated.
I knew I was average. After I graduated, I was probably going to work at a place that starts with a W where you can shop for groceries. The reason I knew or thought of this is that I'm a very lazy person, and the want to exercise was a sudden thought of mine that I decided I would do.
After going through my thoughts, I ask if I can wish for anything. The being glanced at me and said of course not. I then asked what the limits are. The strange entity didn't say anything.
I started to think about what I should wish for. I decided for my first wish, it would be an ability that gets rid of all limits. I thought of the countless possibilities this ability could have—infinite evolutions, no cap on abilities, and more that I can't currently think of.
My second wish was something that would greatly complement my first wish. This wish came from my own thoughts of laziness: the ability to improve everything slowly over time. Imagine how great this ability can be. Race evolution would slowly go up, with stats and ability levels going up.
Along with the first ability, it can upgrade itself and the first ability with no limits. Not to mention the further wishes. A great combo in my opinion. Even if it gets nerf by the entity, it will improve itself and the first ability. Of course, things can go wrong, which I'm expecting.
For my third wish, I would wish for an ability that would reduce negative effects by a percentage. There was also great potential for this. Can't think of any right now, but I believe it can help in the future.
I don't know what to wish for my last wishes. Well, let's ask if I have a time limit. I asked, and he said no—a very forward answer. I decided to make myself comfortable, and after some time, he left. Before he left, he said, "When you are ready, just say your wishes."
After some time, I decided what my last two wishes were going to be. My fourth wish will be a system. I don't know what type of system yet, so I'm going to let the deity decide.
For my final wish, I want to be born as a vampire in royalty with no other siblings. I always wanted to be a vampire, so this is where the wish came from. I also want to have a rich background, and no siblings to threaten me.
As I decided what all my wishes were going to be, I called out to the strange entity. I told him all my wishes, and with a blank of an eye, everything started to turn black. My final thoughts are "Am I actually getting reincarnated."
