As soon as they stepped out, the entire hall fell into silence. Eyes followed their every step, but they showed no emotion and moved forward with composed expressions.
Duke Norish, who was still standing nearby, let out a chuckle and walked towards Ethwer.
He smiled as he spoke just loud enough for Ethwer to hear. "You attacked Easvil, didn't you?"
Duke Ethwer's face remained unchanged. "What are you talking about?"
Norish laughed, his earlier discomfort melting away as he found satisfaction in seeing someone in an even worse position than himself.
