Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Entering through the gates I see a boy in a brown uniform. Seeing my gaze he walked to me "Are you Miyo."

"Yes, you are-"eyeing him carefully

"I'm your guide. I'll just be showing you your dorm and the office for your schedule."

I nodded, "Are you an Omega?"

"Yes, I've been here for about 3 years now."

"I thought there wouldn't be any omegas," I said hesitantly

"There isn't that much, especially from our dorm. The other dorms does have some omegas, but they're much different from ordinary omegas so there not really seen as omegas. Most of the omegas that go here either were or are chosen mates from one of the upper class dorms."

I nodded at him I don't know know I feel about that, but I'm not happy knowing I get classified for being who you are. we started walking toward the dorm. "I lost my heat pills at the airport. Do you know where I can buy some?"

"Yes, but I'm going to warn you, everything here is expensive; I'm talking forty-five thousands for the best kind of pill, the cheapest being nine thousandth" My eyes widened; I don't have that kind of money. He saw my look. "Don't worry, the omegas in our dorm are given two packs of pills every month, so we save them carefully and we usually never run out."

We arrived at a tall brown color building

"This is our dorm people at the school call it the Tillstar dorm for kids like us who got here through scholarships and invite the unimportant people, Alphas and betas in here have the opportunity to serve the higher dorm but omegas- it just best not to attract attention."

"There's a caste system," I say, looking pretty wary.

He glances at me before heading toward the office. "Of course there is; this isn't a normal school."

I stay silent, wishing I could just go home.

"At the very top is Paramount Monarch, the highest dorm in the academy. This is where the next in line to become world leaders among werewolves live. When you walk through the fancy halls of this dorm, you can feel the pressure hanging in the air. It's a lineage steeped in ancient traditions and power. The students here aren't just good at school; they're being trained to lead, and every little thing they do is under the watchful eye of their ancestors. Their common room is filled with portraits of past leaders, and you can hear whispers about their intense training sessions and serious debates on strategy. Being part of Paramount Monarch means you're destined for greatness, but it also comes with the heavy weight of your family's reputation."

"Just below them is Ugrater dorm, where all the heirs to royalty hang out. The students here wear their crowns with pride, draped in fancy clothes and just radiating sophistication. They often serve the monarch, usually as right-hand men. They sit around sharing stories about their royal families."

I nod, trying to take it all in.

"Then there's Vagabond dorm. This place is packed with kids whose parents are big names in music, law, medicine, and acting you know all the money-making careers. Honestly, they seem to have a special hate for Tillstar dorm. The students wear their family legacies like badges of honor, ready to carve out their paths in fields already dominated by their famous parents. Even though they don't have the same titles as those from Paramount Monarch or Ugrater, in their world, it's their parents' achievements that define them. Some even end up trying to align themselves with the Ugrater kids."

"Why not the Monarchs?" I ask.

"They're way too far below them basically seen as unworthy: anyway people like us don't even need to think about the monarch they are way too high for us. Nobody says it but the reason our uniform is brown is because it signifies dirt," he replies pointing at his uniform that was exactly like mine in my suitcase.

"Monarchs has black and gold in their uniforms Ugrater has purple, Vagabond blue, and us brown"

So it'll be easy to tell them apart. We arrived at a big building the sliding door opened allowing us inside.

"Go down the hall, find a big door. Mrs. Antiga will give you your things," He said striding away. That little shit left me all alone; didn't even give me his name. Sighing, I walked the way he pointed, knocking on a door. It opened, and seated there was a lady. "Miyo?" I nodded.

"Good, take this your classes are listed along with your dorm room," she said handing me a folder. So, I wasn't really expecting anything, but this went by smoothly.

Turning to leave the office and headed back to the dorm room to unpack and get settled. Arriving there I opened the door to find the room in a simple style with gray walls with a desk, chair, closet, and a bed it wasn't too big it was almost the same size as my room back home only smaller. On the corner, the door to the bathroom stood. Setting the folder on the desk I laid on the bed. it was still early out getting up again and getting the folder I found the map of the Tillstar campus area. The cafeteria wasn't far from where I was but I didn't have any money with me.

Good thing there's a way to apply for school jobs. hearing my stomach rumble reminded me I didn't eat anything from almost being late to the plane. Getting up I stepped out of my dorm and went outside following the map to the cafeteria.

The sun shone down like it was trying way too hard to make this prestigious school feel all warm and welcoming. You know the vibe: everyone's in those matching uniforms—brown blazers, black slacks, the whole "we're all super serious students" look. It's like we're all part of some elite club or something, which is ironic considering how I just learned there's a whole caste system but honestly, I just wanted to grab some food.

As I made my way down the hallway, I passed a bunch of people in my same uniform who were chattering about grades or the latest school gossip. I tried to tune it out, focusing on my stomach, which was growling louder than a bear. I could practically taste the cafeteria pizza already. I know pizza when I could be eating some expensive food, I'm too broke for this place and pizza was the only meal I found in the Tillstar dorm section that was within my price range.

I finally reached the cafeteria, and just as I was about to step inside, Then, out of nowhere, I collided with this dude. He was wearing a blue uniform, standing there which, stood out against all the brown uniforms. He had this cocky grin plastered on his face like he was just waiting for someone to mess up.

What the hell; I steadied myself from falling. The guy smirked with his arms crossed. Seriously, who did he think he was? I stumbled back a bit, muttering, "Dude, watch where you're going!"

But he just smirked and shot back, "Maybe if you weren't so blind, you'd see me coming!"

This cocky bastard

I rolled my eyes. Great, my first day, and some jerk thinks he can bully me. "Excuse me?" oh I said that out loud starting to feel annoyed the guy spoke again"I was walking straight, and you just appeared out of nowhere, I know your lower-rank packs are stupid but stupidity can no longer define you now; your worse!"

I couldn't believe it. Seriously? This guy had the audacity to call me stupid? "Excuse me? I was walking straight, and you just appeared out of nowhere, for a werewolf your senses seem to be messed up!"

He laughed, crossing his arms like he was the star of a bad sitcom. "My senses? Nice try! But you should really pay attention. Can't have you wandering into traffic and causing trouble, after all, omegas like you end up disappearing."

At this point, I was done. "Look, man, I'm not trying to start a fight here. I was just trying to get some pizza, and you're blocking my way!"

He raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying himself. "Pizza, huh? That cheap food? Maybe you can get yourself something better if you take a few jobs for me."

I narrowed my eyes, I hated it but I needed the job from what I found out people in my dorm don't get jobs easily. "Okay, fine. But I'm not doing any shady shit."

He laughed again surprising me. "Alright, let's see if you can survive." what did he mean by that, instead of asking I headed into the cafeteria, the tension easing up but it didn't go away.
