Chapter 14 - CHAPTER FOURTEEN:THE DATE

Elias woke up to his buzzing alarm, excitement coursing through his veins. Today was the day – his date with Beatrice at 2 pm. He jumped out of bed and began preparing for work.

As he shaved, his mind wandered to Beatrice's radiant smile. He chuckled, thinking about how nervous he'd been confessing his feelings.

After bathing and styling his hair, Elias walk to his wardrobe considering what to wear, before he picks, a brown Trench coat, black Merino turtle neck top with a black tailored pant and a brown Derby shoes

Beatrice woke up feeling refreshed. She chose a elegant outfit for work and began getting ready.

She dress in a 2-piece,red belted wide-led suit and a white stilettos shoes with a white crocodile embossed squared shaped bag.

As she styled her hair, she couldn't help but think of Elias's charming smile.

At the office, her colleagues noticed her glow. "You seem radiant today!" her friend commented.

Beatrice blushed. "Just a good morning."

Elias checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time – 10 am. Four hours until his date.

At his desk, he struggled to focus on reports. His mind kept drifting to visions of Beatrice.

Meanwhile, Beatrice found herself checking her phone, eager for 2 pm.

During lunch break,Elias grabbed lunch with Keal. "How's your morning?" Keal asked.

"Unproductive," Elias admitted, chuckling. "Can't stop thinking about Beatrice."

Keal grinned. "Love's got you hooked."

As 1 pm approached, Elias's nerves returned. What if conversation faltered?

He took a few deep breaths, reminding himself of their effortless connection.

Beatrice, too, felt butterflies. She touched up her makeup, ensuring perfection.

Elias arrived at the coffee shop early, fidgeting with excitement.

Beatrice walked in, stunning in her red suit.

Their eyes met, hearts racing.

"Hey," Elias whispered, offering flowers.

Beatrice smiled. "You're sweet."

Elias and Beatrice settled into the cozy coffee shop, warmth surrounding them.

"The flowers are beautiful, thank you," Beatrice said, her eyes sparkling.

You deserve beautiful things, Elias replied.

Their coffee arrived, and they savored the aroma.

"How's life?" Elias asked, genuine interest shining in his eyes.

"Hey, how've you been?" Elias asked.

"Work's been busy, but I'm good," Beatrice replied. "How about you?"

"Missing you," Elias whispered, his voice sincere.

Beatrice's cheeks flushed.

Elias leaned in, his voice filled with concern,"why did you leave that day without saying goodbye?"

Beatrice's heart skipped a beat.

"Honestly?" he paused. "I really like you, Bea. Can't stop thinking about you."

Beatrice's eyes locked onto his.

"You make me feel complete," Elias confessed.

Beatrice's voice softened.

"I wasn't sure about us...if you wanted a relationship. We moved fast."

I really enjoy our time,l feel connected to you too,she admitted.

I didn't want to impose my feelings.

Elias's face lit up.

No, Bea, I need more! These feelings are new to me, but I love it, I want you by your side.

When I woke up and you weren't there,I thought you did like me and maybe I was the only one who felt the connection and when you did reply to my messages I feared it was all over.

Do you know how happy I was when you replied my message and set a date ,I very happy so happy I could not contain it.

You make me feel complete, Elias confessed, his voice sincere.

Bea, I love you, with this feelings I have now,it know I love you and I want you by my side.

Beatrice's smile bloomed.

"I love it too," she whispered.

Their lips met in a tender kiss.

As they pulled back, Beatrice's eyes shone.

I've never felt this connection.

"Me neither," Elias agreed.

Their conversation flowed effortlessly.

"I feel like I can be myself," Beatrice said.

That's what I love, Elias replied.

Their laughter mingled.

"I'm glad we met," Beatrice whispered.

Elias smiled.

"Me too."

The cafe's warmth enveloped them, a sense of belonging.

"Want to grab dinner?" Elias asked.

Beatrice nodded.

"Love to."

Hand in hand, they strolled into the evening.

Elias and Beatrice walked hand-in-hand to a quaint Italian restaurant. Soft candlelight and aromatic scents welcomed them.

Their table was cozy, overlooking the garden. Elias pulled out Beatrice's chair.

Thanks, she smiled.

Elias sat across, his eyes locked on hers.

The waiter took their orders. Beatrice advice Elias chose lasagna, Beatrice opted for fettuccine.

So, what's your favorite travel destination? Elias asked.

Beatrice's eyes sparkled. "Paris! The art, food, romance."

I'll take you there, Elias whispered.

Beatrice blushed.

Their food arrived, and they savored each bite.

This lasagna's amazing, Elias said.

Beatrice smiled. "Told you!"

As they finished, Elias reached for Beatrice's hand.

Dessert?

Beatrice nodded.

They shared tiramisu, laughter filling the air.

"I'm so happy," Beatrice whispered.

Elias's eyes shone.

"Me too."

The evening drew to a close.

Can I take you home? Elias asked.

Beatrice smiled.

I would really love that please.

Elias and Beatrice strolled hand-in-hand beneath starry skies, silence filled with affection.

As they reached Beatrice's doorstep, Elias turned to her.

"Tonight was perfect," he whispered.

Beatrice smiled, yeah, it was magical.

Elias's eyes locked onto hers, his heart pounding.

"Bea?"

"Yes?"

Elias's gaze burned with desire as he leaned in. His lips claimed hers, the kiss igniting a fire that spread through their veins.

Beatrice's arms wrapped around Elias's neck, pulling him closer. Their lips moved in perfect sync filled with hungry and desire as the world around them dissolves.

Elias's hands explored her curves, sending shivers down her spine. Beatrice's fingers tangled in his hair, deepening the kiss.

Mmmh...,a soft moan escapes Beatrice lips.

Passion exploded as their tongues danced. The moonlit night air was filled with the sound of their ragged breathing.

Elias's lips left hers, trailing down her neck. Beatrice's head tilted back, her eyes closed.

Ah....mmmh Eli, Beatrice moan in a whisper.

With a tender kiss on her lips,"I love you", Elias whispered.

"I love you too," Beatrice replied.

Their eyes met, and a spark flew between them.

Elias wait for Beatrice to go inside before leaving.

Elias slipped into his car, the soft leather enveloping him. As he started the engine, a grin spread across his face.

He pulled away from the curb, the streetlights casting a warm glow.

Excitement coursed through his veins like adrenaline. He couldn't shake the smile.

"Wow!" Elias exclaimed aloud.

Beatrice's laughter, her sparkling eyes and radiant smile replayed in his mind.

He recalled their moonlit kiss, the softness of her lips and her arms wrapped around him.

Elias's heart swelled.

"I think I'm falling in love," he whispered.

The city lights blurred together as he drove.

Elias reflected on their dinner conversation.

"Paris," he mused. "I'll take her there soon."

His mind danced with visions of their future.

Elias turned on the radio, upbeat melodies filling the car.

He tapped his hands on the steering wheel.

As he stopped at a red light, Elias couldn't help but laugh aloud.

Tonight was perfect, he exclaimed.

The light turned green, and Elias accelerated

He pulled into his driveway, still beaming.

Elias shut off the engine.

That was the best night ever, he whispered.

With a happy sigh, Elias stepped out.

Beatrice stepped into her cozy bedroom, still basking in the glow of her enchanting evening with Elias. She kicked off her shoes and settled onto her plush bed, letting out a contented sigh.

She slipped into her favorite pajamas and began her bedtime routine, her mind replaying the highlights of the night: Elias's charming smile, their effortless conversation and that unforgettable moonlit kiss.

As Beatrice applied moisturizer, her phone rang. Ivana's name flashed on the screen.

"Hey, Bea! How was your date with Elias?" Ivana asked, excitement bubbling in her voice.

Beatrice smiled, settling into bed.

"It was amaziiinnngg, Ivana! Elias is incredible," Beatrice gushed.

When he asked me about my travel places, I told him about Paris," Beatrice shared.

"He said,he'd take me there," with a straight face as if it a normal thing, to be honest with you I was shocked,I didn't expect that response at all.

Ivana squealed.

"That's so romantic!

"We had dinner at that quaint Italian restaurant," Beatrice continued. "The lasagna was delicious!"

"Elias has good taste," Ivana laughed.

"And the moonlit kiss..." Beatrice's voice trailed off.

Ivana's delighted sigh filled the line.

"Sounds like a fairy tale huh ,Is Elias 'the one'?"

Beatrice's heart skipped a beat.

"Yes,I think he might be," she whispered.

Ivana's voice filled with joy.

"I'm so happy for you, Bea!"

Their conversation flowed, filled with laughter and excitement.

"Want to meet up soon?" Ivana asked.

Beatrice agreed.

"Love to."

Their call ended, Beatrice's heart filled with joy

With a happy smile, Beatrice snuggled into bed, Elias still on her mind.

"Tonight was perfect," she whispered, drifting off to sleep.
