The sky is a beautiful sight, changing

throughout the day. In the morning, it glows with soft pinks and oranges as the sun rises. During the day, it's a bright blue, sometimes filled with fluffy white clouds. At sunset, the sky turns vibrant colours like red and purple, creating a stunning view. At night, stars sparkle like tiny lights, making the sky look magical and full of wonder.

1 WHAT DOES "I LOVE YOU" MEAN

And here I am, a teenager, gazing at the sky, losing track of time as if lost deep in thought but actually serene . All to be disturbed by this figure that abstracted my view, this woman gazed at me as if looking through my soul.

Her hair, which also fell over me , blocked the rest of my view.

"Can I join you?"she asked, I was able to smell her strawberry sented breath.

"I'm fine and you," I replied calmly, my heart throbbing.

"Fine too, so can I join," she said eagerly.

I grabbed and shifted her away as I stood and said ," Read the room."

"Is that a no, man, you cold. The name's Kayla, what about you? "

"I'm introverted. Nice to meet you," I replied sarcastically.

"What's with the dry jokes , I know that much, but seriously, what's your name?"

I took a glance at her before swiftly taking my bag, and as I was about to walk away, she grabbed my arm and said,

"You know I also like clouds. They're so cool. I even take pictures wanna see. Ohh and I've actually stared at clouds for 2 hrs. What about..."

" You know, that's crazy but who cares?" I said before trying to walk away again.

"You really cold huh", she paused, then resumed with a very soft voice .

,"well the truth is I actually have cancer and I promised my self that before I die I'll make as many friends as possible, those I found interesting of course so I thought we could get along, but you so mean"

I turned, looking at the tears in her eyes and soft plumy chicks, which looked like those of a baby. Her composure was that of an innocent child who seemed to have meant every word.

"Out of all your yapping, what I can say is , I still don't really get the part where that's my problem," I said before continuing on my way.

She kneeled down and touched the freshly cut grass. "When was the last time a guy made me touch grass before, even after pulling the Ace..."she mumbled.

As I went my way, I saw her following me , marching angrily. I stopped under a tree and faced her while saying,

"Tell me , what do you want from me, woman?"

"I want us to be friends," she replied angrily.

"Well, sadly, this is not barbie, try charming some other man,"I replied .

She sat down on the grass and said, " I'm not going to leave your side until you become my friend."

"Really now , so you want to play that game. I accept the challenge ", as I said this, I climbed the huge corn tree reaching the top.

I resumed from where I left. I heared rustling from the tree. Looking downwards, I saw her trying to climb the tree. I stared completely astonished. "She's crazy ", I thought

She was one branch away from reaching me when It suddenly snapped. As if on impules, I slipped through the branches with ease and grabbed her hand. My branch was starting to break, so I swimged her upwards, regaining my balance with my legs.

Facing downwards, I grabbed her and said , "Man, you so heavy loose some weight." Suddenly, in a split second, I was flouting in the air. My body quickly processed the situation, and I used my legs to regain my balance.

"You have really good reflexes monkey ", she said a bit calmer.

"And your strength is..."

"Wait, hold up, what did you call me?"

"Since you won't give me your name, I'm going to call you monkey from now on," she said with a grin .

I approached her , petting her head while saying, " Then I'll call you my banana."

"Bu..you kn..m..na," she mumbled as her chicks turned red.

Later that day, I was at my locker trying to get my books when I heard a comment from a familiar voice. " Look at this failure. Your site disgusts me . Get away from my site, "he said.

I looked at him in the eye, and he bit his touch before punching me. I collapsed on the lockers , my vision was blury since my glasses fell.

I knew it was that time of the day, so I kept quiet like the rest of the students who watched in complete owe.

Suddenly I saw a figure in front of me , it was feminine, the light and blariness had made the figure look like an angel. I was stunned when I heard a familiar voice

,"Why do you always bully introvert? This is my friend, so leave him alone!"she demanded.

"Come on, Kayla, you know better than to call a dirtbag like this, your friend. Come chill with me , I'm the type of man that has everything, "he said as he extended his hand towards her.

As if he slipped from a banana pill , Kyla tripped him and

She swiftly grabbed his hand and sweeped him over .

"Correction, you are a boy, and you don't have everything. You seem to forget that I know judo . If anyone else want to touch this man then he or she gotta go threw this bitch first!", she shouted.

Nearly everyone has been involved in some kind of bullying, either they were the victim , bully or spectator. Well in my case I was the victim the question is why they bullied me?, well it was for a stupid reason more like no reason.

I seeked a piece full world all by myself , but they decided to enter unannounced in my world of solitude, bullying me because I didn't do as they said since they thought they where the main characters . I accepted this as fate and did nothing, so did the spectators, my mom talled me ,fighting a mad man makes you worse than one. I embraced that with both arms and accepted it that is,

"Was I dreaming? and if I was I guess it's time for me to wake up who would stand up for me like that , especially her . I bearly even know her and she calls me her friend ", I thought.

"Kayla Griffin, reported for beating Ben and the use of vulgar language to threaten the entire school", the principal said while whipping her glasses.

"They were bullying this bo-"

"You were not given permission to speak young lady, this is a serious crime in which I have every right to expel you. But I'll let you go with 2hrs of detention and cleaning the school mhhh, and you'll also skip break an lunch"

Kalya tightly grabbed her skirt knowing she couldn't do anything since Ben was her son.

"Yes mam", she finally replied.

"Good, you are dismissed "

After school Kayla was cleaning the class rooms when her stomach made a huge grumble.

"You look so pathetic ", I said watching her clean the windows.

She looked at me from the reflection of the windows and then proceeded to rub them angrily .

I grabbed the cloth while saying, " I'll continue from here take a break and thanks, although that was none of your business "

"I'll remember not to interfere next time , thanks for the lesson"

She let go of the cloth

"Here is some food, I assume you were hungry ",I said handing her a lunch box.

"What about you ", she said as she grabbed the lunch box"

"Why would I give you all my food woman?, I took half and now im giving you my other half ", I said.

She opened the lunchbox and everything was half even the juice, she laughed. She ate and we quickly finished around dawn.

"Well I'm of", Mikel said as he left.

A few minutes later...

"I'm not sure if you think you have invisibility powers but you're really bad at stalking ", I said as she followed me from behind.

"Remember my promise it still stands", she pouted.

I sighed

"You really thought you were cool back there neh, but you were not it was just giving grandpa vibes"

"I'm old"

Kayla burst out laughing, " you should look at the mirror before you tell that to anyone, I'm guessing you 15, but you look like you 12 not gonna lie"

"I'm physically 15 but mentally 100", I said loosing my cool a bit.

She laughed even harder grabbing her stomach as she crouched. "You can be cold but funny to , I'll keep that in mind "

She suddenly came behind me and hugged me from behind while saying ,"why are you single anyway because if you tried you could get most woman with that physic ohhh, you strong to. I mean I was once an introvert to but I don't get you, not even a single person from class knows your name "

"That's because I let people know what I want them to know , and that's another thing that makes me different from this generation, I won't just date anyone just because their hot, rich, cool or funny. I have to know , understand...even if that person ain't that pretty. But for me none of that will happen since I don't know what the words " I love you" mean"

"Your heart is beating very fast , so is mine, but I guess you don't normally get huged and as for me ,I don't know "

She let go of me and looked at me in the eyes with a smile as the wind blew our way. She fixed her hair as she said," bye monkey"

That day felt like a dream , it was as if an angel visited me and although I had just known her , she apparently knew almost as much as my parents knew about me. This is what some introvert wished for , that's even if they closed and sealed every opening there was , they so whished that there would be this person even if it was an angel that would shine a light in their dark world.

2 FIRST DATE

"Hey little boy wake up, I know it's a weekend but don't relax to much life is to short", My mom banged at the door.

I opened the door just as she was about to knock again,"Don't worry mom I woke up thirty minutes before you came here , I guess you can say I was waiting for you"

"Wow now that's a first ", my mom looked surprised.

I finished up my chores and was relaxing in the living room when I hered a notification from my phone, upon checking I saw a message saying .

"I'm hungry "

I immediately blocked the number, after a few minutes I saw another notification.

"Why are you so cold, I said I'm hungry ok"

"It's her ", I thought

"Well I think you got the wrong number ", I replied.

"Well the calculator said I got the right one"

"Where did she get my number ", I thought

"Well my phone says I'm talking to a potential hacker", upon saying so I blocked the number.

"If you knew most of us in school you wouldn't be blocking me like this monkey "

"Why would I be so stupid as to not know who this is and taking my number from the school groups was not cool"

I was just about to block her when my mom heled my hand while saying,"give her a chance, why so cold?, she might teach you what love is "

"Well I'm not sure but it's best if I show you , I have a judo competition today so let's have a pick nick afterwards under that tree. I can delay my birthday celebration a bit"

After she sent me the details I got ready and was just about to leave when my mother suddenly came infront of the door folding her arms while saying, "you are not going to see a lady while looking like that young man "

"Bu-",she threw some clothes on my face.

"Go change"

I sighed. I had myself a sit at the back and watched the competitions get down. When it was her turn she effortlessly won by using the same technique she uses on Ben .

I waited for her outside but when she didn't show up after half an hour I decided to leave regretting making a fool of my self.

"Monkey wait up !",she shouted.

I felt so embarrassed, I increased my walking speed trying my best to avoid her .

"It's hard to run with this basket over here you know"

Nonetheless she caught up to me . "Let's go to this restaurant first I gotta tell my friends I'm gonna delay the birthday a bit", she said while skipping .

When she entered the restaurant she was surprised when she hered

"Happy birthday!",as the light went on .

They pulled her In and they started celebrating getting her to ware a crown and carry a wand. She looked hesitantly for me, when she didn't see me she immediately left while saying, "Sorry to do this girls I kept a promise so I gotta bounce, don't eat the cake without me"

"Kayla !",they shouted but she was long gone .

She went under the cone tree and set there exhausted.

"I know you're up there monkey come down so I can show you how I take the pictures "

After minutes of silence she finally said," well I'm not leaving here no matter what until you come"

After a few hours I came but not from the tree.

"Huhhh I thought..."

"Sorry I excused myself from your birthday and went home , but my mom sent me back"

We went up hill passing many thorns and bushes , we finally reached the top and Kayla was mesmerised by the filed of dandelions which covered the top of the hill.

She cheerfully ran across the filled running and blowing them as she cried.

"Cause I'm happy Dumbah, this is the best birthday present I got "

"Well I'm glad you're happy, I'm gonna sleep until it's time for you to show me how to take the picks ", I said as I layed on the ground.

"Why be such a grandpa, ohh yah it's because you mentally 100", she laughed at that.

"Yes I cheated on you , you bitch. I was getting bored of sleeping with the same woman. Let's divorce already I'll give you half of what I own since I know that what you really wanted"

My mom cried sinking intoo the ground. "You're wrong, very wrong, all I wanted from you was a loving father and a happy family "

That is, I don't mind when i get bullied, but when they mention those I love..."

I woke up from my short nap to gaze upon this woman dressed in a white beautiful dress wishing on dandelions,the setting golden sun reflected on her eyes giving them a beautiful orange glow. Her hair blew gently by the wind as she muttered a word before blowing the dandelion, but I couldn't tell what she was saying.

"Are you an angel?",I asked.

She looked at me with a smile." What's up with the after nap rizz"

I was quite we gazed at each other and she saw that my question was serious.

"I've never really seen your eyes apart from when you wore your glasses. They are beautiful "

"Hear it comes"

She quickly grabbed her phone and took a pic. "This thing comes for like 5 seconds so it's really hard to get , here take a look"

"It's beautiful ", I said staring at the picture

"So what were you wishing for?, whatever it was or should I say ,they were because half of the dandelions are gone"

"I was wishing for something, something really hard to get ", she was red again.

"Let's eat, I bought half of everything since i wouldn't give you all my food ", she said.

"What a coincidence since I did the same thing mhhh I have an idea , you take my half and give me yours",

We finished eating and were about to leave when I suddenly gazed at her.

I approached her until we were inches close.

"There's something in your eyes , but it reflect your beauty so don't remove it. My name is Mikel by the way, don't forget it"

"Girl where have you been and what happened, you're red as a tomato ", Fiona said.

"Someone stole my half ",Kayla said.

"Who?",they all asked.

They were confused. ,"Fiona what can you say about the situation ?", Daniel asked.

"Well from knowing her and how she is now it's best to say that , she's in love",Fiona noded while folding her arms.

"That's not the case , I'm just feeling a bit sick OK!, we'll talk latter and sorry about the birthday thing", she pouted and left.

"Its the first time I've seen her like this ", Fiona said.

A few years ago, I had been an introvert. I deemed myself not worthy of talking and making friends with anyone because of how I looked and acted. Anyone who would approach me I would sweep them with my judo technique. My shyness and statering made me hide in my world of solitude.

I always wanted to talk to this one guy who was introverted like me , but I was scared, and he never looked my way. I was at a park with mom when I saw this guy walking with his own mom, carrying a monkey teddy. They were surprisingly good friends and ,they wanted us to be good friends to.

He extended his hand towards me for a greeting but I sweeped him. He was rather calm as he lay there on the ground.

"The sky is beautiful isn't it", he said.

In a way we had some similarities, but I was afraid of talking feeling like I would embarras myself through my continuous statering.

We set there on the grass for hours staring at the sky. When we were about to leave he said,

"Sorry about not talking to you, I usually stater and I enjoy the quiet. But introvertism doesn't suit you, you know"

He extended his hand again for a handshake. I looked at it for sometime before slowly accepting it, he smiled and left leaving his teddy behind. I took it and chased him and for the first time I shouted.

"Hi monkey, I won't be able to meet with you because of the judo competition that we're preparing for in Japan."

We talked like this for days , time flew by, and it felt like all the seasons went by within that short span of time.

"I'm sick, and it getting worse day by day"

I waited day in and day out for her messages, we got very close in a short span of time when suddenly one day she never sent me a message and when I did it, it only had one tick. I assumed she blocked me because of my annoying behaviour.

I didn't expect my self to feel sad but I did , my sickness got worse day by day. We received a message from the school bored telling us to attend a party for those who will be leaving for the judo competitions.

I refused to go , but mom forced me to ware a suit and go in my best appearance. I couldn't disobey her so I decided to go,although another part of me wanted to go for another reason.

"Well it seems like Kayla here will be in the hospital for 2 weeks or so", the doctor said after examining her.

"I'm sorry honey, you won't be able to go to the judo competition . But I really wished you could attend the party ", her mom said. They all comforted her except for Lwaneles who kept on fiddling on her phone. When they all left she remained behind still gluid on her phone "

"Hey sis",Kyla said as she coughed and pulled the phone away.

"You know how I get angry when people do that, being sick won't save you , you better have a legit explanation for this shii"

"This is as far as I can go with my bike , I'll leave the rest to you sis, don't die on me and get me intoo more trouble than I already have"

I was breathles as I saw the party a few yards away , I pushed through walking with my painfully feet because of my high heels.

As I stepped into the dimly lit room, the pulsating beat of music enveloped me like a warm embrace. The walls were adorned with twinkling fairy lights, casting a magical glow over the crowd. Laughter echoed around me, a mix of familiar and new faces, all dancing and swaying to the rhythm. I felt a rush of excitement and nervousness, a blend of wanting to join in yet holding back. In that moment, I was both a part of the energy and an observer, savoring the vibrant tapestry of personalities around me.

Overwhelmed by everything that was taking place I decided to leave, even though I tried to remove Kalya from my mind I still looked for her attentively. Giving up I went towards the door preparing yo leave.

As I was just about to open the door it suddenly swinged open nearly colliding with me, my gaze fixated on this angel who was on a rush. As she was passing me she tripped on her beautiful snow white dress, I grabbed her with one hand by the waste as I stared down at her beautiful golden eyes which still looked through my soul. Her face which looked like a doll made me fill as if I would go blind by looking at her for more than a second.

"What is a beautiful angel doing in a place like this", I said without thinking.

"She's searching for her other half, have you seen him",she replied.

I raised her as I said, "It's your other half you should be able to tell by the feeling"

She pressed her head on my chest" I can tell by the heart bit cuz it matches, found you,monkey!",she said excitedly with a grin on her face.

The light went of. "Since everyone has arrived let's start the real fun, grabe a partner in this darkness and dance with him or her we will turn on the light later afterwards "

Music played ,Kyla grabbed a man's hand and danced with him, they were in perfect sink. Feeling as if something was wrong she pulled out. A hand grabbed her and moved her pulling her away from the crowd. She turned and tried to slap the person but he grabbed the hand and mewed at her. She was astonished.

"Wanna get out of here", he said with a soft voice.

"Sure",she replied.

They run happily across the grass , her shoes of. "I'm suddenly not sick after meeting you"

"Same here you were in a bad condition when I met you though "

"I'm good now monkey", she said as she skipped across the filled.

"Let's go to that place again I wanna show you something "

"No problem "

"Dame if only I could hold a baby right now , I really love those cuties "

I laughed hard kneeling on the ground. She blushed.

A car came speeding towards us , I swiftly moved Kayla. It stopped and a bunch of gangsters came out including Ben .

"Did you think you'd get away with this bastards!?",Ben said angrily.

"Get lost Ben , your mummy ain't heare to protect you!", Kayla shouted.

He approached Kayla and I came infront of him." Ben we can talk about this , I don't want t-", he punched me.

Kayla slapped him, her slap acoude in the silence. Ben punched her in the lowere jow, she fainted as he said ,"know your place woman ".

My heart raced, I was breathing hard , my vision blury as I tried to gaze at them.

I punched the class bully and all his friends charged towards me .

Kyla woke up to see blood everywhere, she hered a sound , she raised her head to see me punching Ben to death as some of his blood splattered on my face .

My mom opened the door to see me punching the class bully to death. Everyone lay there nearly lifeless.

"Mikel stop you monster!"

I looked at her with tears in my eyes, I ran away while saying ,"I'm sorry"

I set at the top of the corn tree remembering the day we first met. I stared at the hunters moon , it was beautiful I thought, I removed the knife which Ben stabbed me with . I raised it up ready to stab myself, crying, clinging to the knife, grabbing it with both arms I moved it swiftly towards me .

"Ahhhhhhh !"

Only quarter of it went in . The rest of it was grabbed by this guardian angel which I trusted the knife through her hand , she was bleeding red blood like every human being, I was stunned .

She cuddled me with her arms . Her embrace felt soothing. She took out the knife and threw it away .we stayed in the same position for a while before I said,

4 TIILL DEATH DO US APART

I woke up in the hospital, captivated by the aroma of fresh bananas. I took out the drip and nebuliser from my body, remembering what had happened. I was covered in bandages, but I still managed to wake up . I checked the time , and her flight was to live at 12 midnight.

"I can still make it," I thought .

As I walked slowly but surely towards the airport the doctors and patients looked flabbergasted.

"Where do you think you're going , how are you even awake right now?",the doctor asked.

"Let me through. There's a place I must reach no matter what and if you're going to stand in my way chances are I'll die before reaching there"

The doctor looked me in the eyes , surprisingly he said,"let this man through let no one stop him"

"But doctor his injur-",

"Why do you think he is able to walk , that is because of his will , there's someone he has to meet no matter what I can tell",he then laughed.

"Now I've seen it all, a kid now knows the meaning of love more than us adult"

Kyla took her luggage ready to leave. She was just about to leave when she was suddenly held by a firm hand , she turned happily only to see a middle-aged man who looked as confused as she was .

Fiona was driving back home with her parents when she saw me walking in the rain slowly but surely. She immediately left the car and went towards me, saying,

"Hey, are you that guy which Kayla sent to the hospital? Considering your injuries, you shouldn't be moving right . Wait, the direction you're going, don't tell me..."

Weeks passed since she left, and we decided to organise a party for her return . I was just about done getting ready when my mom suddenly entered my room.

When I reached the party I met her best friends they all sarounded me asking questions.

"Don't you dare break her or else my breaking won't be emotional, it will be physical "

I laughed." Hey, I'm serious ."

"Laydies and gentlemen sorry to inform you that the special party will be postponed due to delayed flight "

We all went home disappointed.

When I reached home I saw mom standing at the door .

"Mikel I'm sorry she's dead ".

My heart skipped a bit ," you scaring me mom stop with the jokes"

My mom cried. "She had an injury at the judo competition, they took her to the hospital, but , but ...", she cried further.

My body suddenly felt weak, I felt non existent. I had a pain In my chest and my head felt as if it were to explode. I don't know when the tears came flowing but my gaze was blury.

I tried to walk but couldn't walk properly, I fell to the ground. Waking up in the hospital I got up . And my mom who was sleeping next to me also got up .

"Mikel where are you-"

"I'm dizzy but , but I have to see her where is she !"

They took me to her body. I looked at her in disbelief . She lay there with a smile on her face , like a beautiful angel untouched.

"Why , why why do this to me !?, why betray me with death. ", I tried touching her but I couldn't .

"Why trap yourself in an eternal slumber"

I cried my heart out refusing to accept the truth , I developed mental problems and sickness. My physical condition got worse daily. They took me to the field of dandelions we used to go .

I stayed there making wishes till my lips fell dry, I stayed in the filled of dandelions wishing on everyone that she would be mine.

After finishing the dandelions I had lost hope and went to the top of the hospital roof. My mom came from behind greeting me with a small voice.she then proceeded to hand ne a box.

"This was her last reminance, the family wanted it to be passed on to you"

I opened the box to find a monkey teddy , I so an initial from behind saying" mk"

It can't be , this is my teddy from back then ",I mumbled.

I remember giving it to this child who stared at the sky with me for 2hrs.

"I stared at the sky for 2hrs what about you"

My eyes which I thought had lost the ability to cry , flowed with warm tears as I huged the teddy.

"I will live, I will live for a hundred years in your name and in mine and we shall reunite one day, I promise I will never forget you"

100 years passed on and their story was recorded in books and novels, some may describe it as a fairy tale while some may believe it was true. Either way the banana and monkey reunited again , the two halls were finally complete and made full.
