Chapter 3 - Goodbye Konoha

---

After sometime explaining and due to the immense trust Akira had built over the years, everyone chose to believe him. In fact, they wanted to believe him—it was like a ray of hope in the midst of their dire situation, a light that offered them a way out of the darkness.

"Akira, is what you said... really true?" An elder of the Uchiha clan asked, his voice trembling with uncertainty.

Akira nodded confidently. "It's true."

"Then why—"

"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" The elder's question was cut short as Akira's gaze swept the room, where many had the same query reflected in their eyes.

Akira sighed and replied, "Have you considered the consequences if I had revealed this earlier? The moment this secret was known, Konoha would have ordered me to lead a campaign to conquer that other world. And if I refused, they would have held the lives of our clan—your families, your children—hostage. We wouldn't have had any chance to escape."

The room fell silent, everyone absorbed in the gravity of his words.

"But can we really survive in that other world?" another elder asked, his voice laced with worry. "There may be stronger forces there."

Leaving Konoha and moving into a completely unknown world weighed heavily on the minds of the clan. The fear of the unknown lingered in the air.

"Don't worry," Akira reassured them. "Although there are strong forces, they're not united. The world is chaotic. If our Uchiha clan grows and develops properly, we have the potential to become a dominant power ourselves."

The younger members of the clan felt their hearts stir with excitement. Thoughts of new territories, new possibilities, and new futures filled their minds, far removed from the dismal fate that awaited them in Konoha.

"But... to leave Konoha like this feels like running away," one of the older Uchiha spoke, his voice filled with sorrow. "This village was founded by our clan. And now we're leaving in despair."

The sentiment echoed in the room. Despite the injustice, the Uchiha clan had deep ties to Konoha, the village they had once built and protected. They hated the village's leadership, but many held an emotional attachment to the land itself.

Akira spoke with calm resolve, understanding their feelings. "I know it's painful, but this is the reality. If we want to rise again, we must first survive. This isn't forever. We will return, but not to secretly plot a coup in the shadows. We'll come back strong, openly reclaiming what belongs to us."

"Yes, We will return__!" a young Uchiha shouted.

"Reclaiming what belongs to us!" the others echoed, their voices filled with new hope. Akira's words struck a chord, lighting a fire within them.

Uchiha Fugaku, the clan leader, furrowed his brow in thought. If what Akira said was true, then this might be their only opportunity. He finally asked, "When do we leave?"

Akira's response was immediate: "Now."

"Now?"

"Yes, the time is right. Everyone important to our clan is here. And as we speak, Konoha has already taken action."

Fugaku's eyes widened with realization. "Action? You mean...?"

Akira nodded. "Yes. Konoha's higher-ups know about tonight's planned coup. They've been waiting, watching for us to make a move so they can annihilate the Uchiha clan in one strike."

Shock rippled through the room. The clan had underestimated Konoha's surveillance.

"Konoha is no longer ours," Akira continued. "It hasn't been for a long time. If you want to take control of your own destiny, we must grow stronger first."

At that moment, Akira's Sharingan flared with power. The space in front of him began to shimmer and ripple, as if the air itself were being torn apart. A portal appeared, a window to another world.

"Let's go," Akira said, his voice steady and determined.

Without hesitation, the Uchiha clan members began stepping into the portal, one by one. Akira waited until the last of them had crossed, then he turned, glancing back at the village. A faint smile touched his lips as he whispered, "Goodbye, Konoha."

Akira had already planned everything. On this day, every single member of the Uchiha clan—regardless of age or condition—had gathered at Naka Shrine. Whether young children or the elderly, even those bedridden by illness, all were present. Akira had ensured no one was left behind, knowing that their survival depended on this unified escape.

He had built trust within the clan over years, and now, in their most desperate moment, they followed him without question. They believed in him, even when the unknown loomed. This gathering was not just a tactical move—it was their last hope to preserve the Uchiha legacy.

Outside Naka Shrine, Konoha's Anbu forces had encircled the area, waiting for the signal to attack. The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, stood next to Danzo, his expression somber.

"Danzo, are you certain the Uchiha will launch the coup tonight?" Hiruzen asked, his voice tinged with unease.

"Absolutely," Danzo replied, his voice cold and resolute. He signaled to one of his men, an Aburame clan member, who released a swarm of black insects to scout the shrine.

Moments passed before the bugs returned, but the expression on the Aburame's face darkened with confusion.

"What is it?" Danzo demanded.

"There's... no one inside," the Aburame ninja reported, disbelief coloring his voice. "Naka Shrine is empty. The entire Uchiha clan... has disappeared."

Hiruzen and Danzo exchanged shocked looks before barking orders to search the area. But no tunnels, no signs of escape could be found. The Uchiha clan had vanished without a trace.

"Find them!" Danzo roared, his fury barely contained. "Search the entire village, the entire ninja world if you have to. I want them found!"

Hiruzen, meanwhile, stood quietly, his gaze drifting toward the horizon. His mind lingered on Akira Uchiha—the young man he had never fully understood. Deep down, he felt it.

The Uchiha would return. And when they did, the entire ninja world would shake from the UCHIHA.
