Aria's dreams were haunted by the Shadowborn's dark presence. She sensed its malevolent energy lurking, waiting to strike.
One night, under the full moon, Aria decided to confront her fears. She snuck out of the Hidden Realm, into the bustling streets of Seoul.
The city's neon lights seemed to pulse in sync with her racing heart. Aria wandered, lost in thought, until she stumbled upon a mysterious shop.
"Moonwhisper's Curios" read the sign.
Aria pushed open the door, revealing a dimly lit interior filled with strange artifacts. A wispy figure emerged from the shadows.
"Welcome, Aria Ordinary," Moonwhisper said, her voice ethereal. "I've been expecting you."
Aria's instincts screamed warning.
"How do you know me?"
Moonwhisper's smile was enigmatic.
"I know many things, child. Including the secrets of your family's past."
Aria's curiosity overrode her caution.
"Tell me," she urged.
Moonwhisper's eyes gleamed.
"Your ancestors made a pact with the Dragon King, trading power for protection. But the pact came with a price: your family's magic would attract darkness."
Aria's heart sank.
"The Shadowborn?"
Moonwhisper nodded.
"A creature born from the darkness within. It feeds on your family's magic, growing stronger with each passing day."
Aria's determination hardened.
"I won't let it win."
Moonwhisper's smile widened.
"Ah, but you're not alone, Aria. You have allies, hidden in plain sight."
As Moonwhisper spoke, the shop's shadows seemed to shift, revealing figures Aria recognized.
Ji-Hyun, her best friend, stood alongside a tall, brooding figure.
"Aria, this is Min-Soo," Ji-Hyun said. "He's been watching over you."
Aria's eyes widened.
"Min-Soo? The guy from the restaurant?"
Min-Soo's expression softened.
"I've been protecting you, Aria. From the shadows."
Aria's world expanded.
"What does it mean?" she asked.
Moonwhisper's voice whispered.
"It means, child, you're not ordinary. You're the key to unlocking an ancient power. And with allies by your side, you'll face the darkness head-on."
