Yesterday was the last day of our 12-day vacation. Our school was meant to undergo some changes during this period. I don't like school that much. However, after two days since we weren't given any work to do, I got extremely bored. I am not looking forward to going back either.
"Has the name on the school gate been changed? Before it said public boys school now it's changed into Sunflower Academy what's going on?" with this going on in his head Frey walked forward with no surprise or emotion.
"What is this? Why are there so many girls on the school grounds? Man, I shouldn't have skipped yesterday I thought there wouldn't be any important stuff going on since we were on vacation so I came today." With a surprised look, Frey started looking in all directions though still walking toward the academy buildings with huge shock without stopping, in the distance, he saw a person walking ahead with familiar features.
Frey made a run towards him and started calling out to him "Huh, is that Riener? Hey hey Riener, hey dude what's going on here?"
Riener turned around quickly after hearing Frey's voice with excitement and said "Oh! Frey you are not going to believe what happened yesterday!"
"What? What happened?" Frey with anticipation as if losing his patience
Riener with great enthusiasm and excitement "Dude, since school performance in our state has been growing, the government took the initiative to further help the students by creating a separate school body under the charity of many billionaires. They merged many local schools to make a single school with the best possible faculty, so our school has been merged with two other schools, and one of them is the girls' public school where my sister studies!"
With an annoyed expression, Frey Replied, "What, seriously, but how can they merge the girls' school with the boys' school? The whole point of the schools was to prevent that."
Riner acting like it was a natural reaction as he knew Frey very well replied to get Frey excited too. "Dude forget about the boring stuff do you know how cute girls in our class are, sam is already trying with a girl he met yesterday I think she might become his girlfriend!"
"Huh! No way the world would end if Akira gets a girlfriend before you..." he said to Riner with a natural tone as if it was something unnatural to happen
Riner chuckled in a sarcastic tone averting his head "That is true ha ha ha!"
"And what about arrangements are we in the same class?" Frey asked anxiously cause most of the time Frey just remained silent while Riner spoke on behalf of them both with everybody
"Fortunately yes, you, me, and Sam are in the same class but Akira couldn't make it." With a comical tone while holding the laughter
"Rip Akira we will never forget him..." with closed eyes while prying with both hands in front in a calm voice Frey shook his head "Yes he will live in our hearts. Ha ha ha" Riner burst into laughter immediately upon hearing Frey's reply as though he already knew what he would say.
with a serious look Frey said, "Alright let's head to our class or we will be late."
In agreement while trying to control his laughter said Riner "Yeah right let's go"
upon a sudden realization while walking Frey asked hastily "Oh did the teachers also change?" " No nearly all the teachers from our school are still here but they added some other teachers from the merged schools" Riner replied with a bored expression.
"So the teachers whom we have been studying from will remain," said Frey with relief
"Yes but there was no class yesterday as the students from all years are divided into sections so teachers were busy planning the schedule and stuff," said Reiner while opening the Classroom door to enter
"The seats are all new in our class?" in a happy tone said Frey with a surprise
"We are gonna sit in our usual spots right, thank god it's not taken," said Reiner to Frey with relief
"Yep, and who will dare to sit where we sit," Frey said with a smug look as if posing his influence.
"And why is that!" a soft voice called us from behind with immense displease Frey and Riner turned around with a lazy effort. upon seeing a girl with white skin rosy cheeks and wet red lips clenched with anger expecting a reply with a rejecting look
Frey and Riner turned forward again in unison to avoid trouble with this cute angry girl and started to move toward the seats and sit down.
surprised as to what happened the girl clenched her fists reluctant with an even more displeased and angry voice said "Hey, you two did you just ignore me?"
Riener with a fierce look "Huh, who are you? Do you know her Frey?"
with a disinterested voice "Nope." said Frey
though Riner is usually a nice guy he can't bear the sight of somebody who shows disrespect toward them or to other people.
Riener said to the girl with a rude tone"Hey, miss who are you? and do you have a problem with us"
without backing down, confidently the girl introduced herself "I am Ayaka Tanaka, and the class representative of our class in my previous school" Without taking another breath said angrily looking at us "Are you two some kinda hotshots here huh?"
Riner without backing down either said as if ready to fight her said to her in a loud voice "Yes, got a problem with that, are all the girls of your school so rude like you starting fight without reason with anybody"
with a hostile tone "What do you mean without reason without reason" turning her eyes toward me glaring as if she was ready to punch me "Your friend just now said "No one will dare to take your spots" Were you trying to provoke us? Even if it was your school we were transferred here too now and it's our school now too" said Ayaka while gesturing with open arms.
There weren't many students in the class just 4 girls who were standing at the left side of the classroom near the second row behind Ayaka and two boys in the right corner, Frey was seated in the seat next to the corner window and Riener was standing next to Frey ready to sit down.
A girl with black hair and olive skin came running towards Ayaka "Hey hey, Ayaka Chan don't do this right now remember what the teacher said!" trying to stop her angry friend from fighting.
"Hey, we weren't making any threats here beside we have been sitting in the same spot our entire lives." In a soft voice, Riner said immediately as if to stop fighting with an apologetic look.
Ayaka was starting to say something but suddenly a call in a loud voice filled with excitement from behind intterepted her "Hey Riner hello Tina Chan and wow Ayaka and Frey are here too!" Sam was hastily walking toward us with a big bright smile.
Ayaka intercepted him without greeting or letting anyone else greet Sam and with a displeased voice asked Sam "Are these your friends,"
Sam with enthusiasm started introducing everyone to each other happily "Ah yes, let me introduce you ... this is Rin--" Ayaka interrupted him immediately "I don't believe you are friends with these bullies."
The other girl who seemed relieved after seeing Sam changing the subject started panicking after Ayaka brought the attention back to the fight "Ayaka Chan let's go sit the the class will start soon forget about it!"At that time the class started to fill with students slowly as the time for class was nearing
Sam caught dumbfounded replied with haste as if he couldn't believe what he heard "What? What do you mean bullies these are my best buds"
Frey who was silent till now asked Sam with an annoyed expression "Hey, Sam who is this girl, and what's with her attitude? Do you know her"
Upon hearing Frey with even more surprise and trying to handle the situation Sam said in a friendly tone "Now, now Frey! Why are you getting worked up, you are always cool no matter the situation, please calm down" With that Frey let out a sigh placed his arms on the table, and placed his head on top of his arms ignoring what was going on.
Upon seeing Frey taking his usual posture whenever he wanted to sleep on the desk Sam started to introduce everyone once more "This is Ayaka she lives in my neighborhood, this is Tina her friend ... and This is Frey topper of our class and School, this is Riener big brother of all the boys in our class, if you are facing a problem you can rely on Riener!! He he." trying to change the image of his friends before Ayaka who was exuding smoke from her ears ready to lash out at any moment after she saw Frey sleeping in front of her.
Riner blushed and averted his gaze like a little girl trying to be humble "You're embarrassing me, Sam, I am not some noble figure like that right Frey?"
Frey without looking up with his eyes closed in a teasing voice "Noble figure huh!" Riner's face turned red with embracement and slapped Frey softly "Frey you jerk I didn't say it in that way."
Ayaka calmed down a bit rolling her eyes "hump, topper of your class and school? Doesn't seem like it."
Tina in a state of panic "Ah, I am sorry for Ayaka Chan..." started to pull Ayaka as she had something important to say "Hey Ayaka Cheen~~~ stop it now. let's go sit down the class is about to start"
upon seeing the unusual behavior of her friend Ayaka took the cue and calmed down "Alright, let's go back to our seats..."
with a displeased look and disappointment "What's the matter with that friend of yours Sam, she is so rude" said Riener
Sam placing his hand on Riners head as he passed to sit down on the seat behind Riner said while shaking his head in disappointment "Well, many girls were mistreated yesterday by them you know, Shinomiya's people so they are wary of every guy now" said Sam
Riner with an understanding look and regretting his actions " I see, yuck I should have resolved it peacefully" Sigh ~~
Frey not bearing any feelings with a devilish look "Oh, so your crush is in the same class as you right Sam " said teasingly
all three became silent Riner looked at Sam who was flustered and his face became red averting his eyes not able to answer anything and said "Well that's ~~Awkward " with a chuckle
Frey got up astonished "Seriously that hot head I was kidding with you dude I didn't know I would hit the right spot..." whispered to no one hears them other than these two instantly becoming bored after seeing Sam's reaction take back his sleeping position
Sam coming to the senses upon hearing Frey stuttering while talking said "What, when did I say "yes" Frey? Don't assume anything on your own."
Riner in amazement "You're blushing right now" bursting into laughter "Ha ha ha dude you're so easy to read right" looking at Frey who already slept on his desk again "Right frey!" said respecting an answer. Upon not getting an answer Riner's expression turned bitter "This jerk is already asleep. Seriously how did I become friends with these two?"
Meanwhile at Ayaka's desk.
Tina was saying something to Ayaka while blushing and looking around with various eyes, upon hearing Ayaka got up suddenly with a shocked expression shouted "What!" and immediately looked towards Frey.
Ayaka gaining her composure back got close to Tina and said quietly "I didn't know it was him, gosh how many years has it been since?"
"3 years~~, "Tina said anxiously in a happy tone as if she had found a treasure.
Ayaka with a regretful look"You should have told me, earlier dummy now because of me it will be hard for you to approach him, haha. I am such an idiot."
Tina sympathetically looked into Ayakas eyes not blaming Ayaka with a hopeful gaze "Ah, don't worry Ayaka Chan I am sure I will have a chance now since I know him now."
With an apologetic look as if she had done something terrible a bitter expression "No, No I will fix it you wait here... " started walking toward Frey's desk again.
Tina was flustered with a hesitant voice not understanding Ayaka, who started suddenly to approach Frey's desk "But what are you gonna do, hey Ayaka Chan wait, tell me first hey!!"
