Looking out the window, I noticed the faint darkness still lingering. The world was quiet, save for the gentle rustle of the trees. "It's still early," I murmured, estimating there was about an hour left until sunrise.
"You're up early," Sol said, her tiny figure materializing on my shoulder. She tilted her head, her radiant eyes studying me. "And you seem unusually excited."
"Well, I have the beast-taming class today," I replied, a small grin spreading across my face. "I'm curious to see what kinds of creatures we'll encounter—fantastical beasts I've only ever seen through a screen."
