Chapter 6 - The End Begins.

"You love it rough, huh? Well, I love it rough too!" the bald-headed man said with a smirk.

Just when he was about to insert his erect dick into Scarlett from behind, a sharp, long, pointed appendage emerged from the roof, separating the bald-headed man's head from his body, prompting blood to splash everywhere, especially on Scarlett, turning her white gown red in an instant.

Scarlett quickly stood up from the table and moved backward, as did the red-haired lady, the burly men, and the other people present at the supermarket, all moving back as they watched the octopus-like hand with sharp edges create holes in the rooftop as it walked away, accompanied by a loud hissing sound.

Scarlett and the others immediately covered their ears from the deafening noise.

"What the heck is that thing?" the burly man murmured under his breath, his gaze fixed on the rooftop.

In answer to his question, a long, veiny, decayed hand with a sharp, pointed edge pierced through the supermarket door, stabbing deeply into the burly man's stomach and immediately drawing back.

Scarlett and the others, their brains momentarily shutting down and their feet feeling glued to the ground, traced their gaze to the creature. They saw a monster with two disfigured heads, towering almost to the sky. It immediately threw the burly man's body into its wide-open mouth filled with sharp fangs, munching on him.

"Arrrrrgh!!!!!!"

Scarlett's scream was drowned out by the deafening growls and hissing sounds filling the air. The others couldn't help but scream at the horrifying sight, and only then did their brains start working.

The word "run" echoed in their heads, but still, their legs refused to move, their gazes fixed on the creature, which seemed to have a magic that made Scarlett and the people unable to look away.

The creature's two disfigured heads seemed to be arguing with each other, their twisted faces contorted in snarls. Its long, veiny arms swept across the supermarket, destroying everything in its path.

Only then did Scarlett and the others begin running, finding a way out of the supermarket. The monster's veiny hand continued to destroy everything in its path, catching and eating some people.

"We're dead! We're really dead!" one of the survivors shouted.

Just after his words, the monster's hand entered his stomach, dragging him out of the supermarket as if in answer to his prayer.

"This way!" the red-haired lady shouted as she opened an underground entrance, and Scarlett followed, as did the rest.

The underground was unexpectedly bright, with rays of sunlight making their way through the window there.

Scarlett sat down on the damp, moldy floor, followed by the red-haired lady and the other people, their faces brimming with fear and terror as their bodies continued to shake.

Ding!

A holographic screen appeared before Scarlett, but the others couldn't see it, only her.

{Monster Apocalypse has begun.}

'I can't even tell these people about the monster apocalypse. I wasn't able to form any words,' Scarlett yelled in her heart, anger etched on her face. 'Everything has disappeared. They don't even have anything to fight with.'

Scarlett couldn't help but cry as tears rolled down her cheeks. The growls of monsters could still be heard, sending waves of shock and terror down everyone's spines.

"What's that thing?" asked one of the people, a pregnant woman who seemed like she'd give birth any time soon.

She held her stomach in pain, with tears rolling down her cheeks. "We got transmigrated into this world without knowing the reason. I got separated from my husband but kept hoping to see him one day. But now what? What are those things outside?"

"I knew the end of the world had come when we all got transmigrated here. The world is finally coming to an end," another man chimed in, his body still shaking vigorously with fear.

"Oh holy Mary, mother of Jesus. Are we cursed? Please save us from this," a man with long black hair muttered as he made the sign of the cross on his chest.

"Oh yeah, we're cursed. And your holy mother isn't going to save you. You keep saying 'holy mother,' but you don't know anything about this world or what's been happening all this while," the red-haired lady said angrily. "Your holy mother couldn't tell you that, so cut the crap. I don't want to hear anything else or I'll throw you out to those monsters."

The black-haired man swallowed hard, fear evident on his face, but he continued to make the sign of the cross.

"Does the Axe Squad know this shit was going to happen, which is why they go around collecting all the weapons?" the red-haired lady asked, her voice full of anger. "There was absolutely no weapon of any kind when we got to this world, and the food was almost expired, but we still ate it."

"Axe Squad? Weapons?" Scarlett asked as she stood up. "Who are the Axe Squad?"

The red-haired lady shifted her gaze towards her and threw her a hateful look. "Oh yeah, you just got here. But even though, there's no way you haven't heard about the Axe Squad."

"I don't know anything about them," Scarlett replied, puzzled.

"Well, the Axe Squad are a group of people who came together and took all the weapons in this world: guns, axes, everything," the pregnant woman explained with a heavy sigh. "When everyone first got transmigrated here, we all formed groups. Other groups took different necessities, becoming the bosses over certain things, and we had to get what we needed from them. Some took food, and so on."

"Trade by barter," the black-haired man chimed in. "That's what it's called. The resources in this world aren't much, after all, so we all decided to trade by barter."

"What?!" Scarlett exclaimed, shocked. "So the Axe Squad knew about this and got prepared, leaving others to be killed by the monsters. What do they achieve by doing this?!"

Ding!

{Humans are evil, and yes, they continue to grow more evil as time goes on. You're all being punished because of your evil deeds, yet others are still committing more crimes. The time in this world moves faster. One minute on Earth is like a month here. Apart from edible stuff, which will expire and rot, weapons will stay intact as long as they're stored properly. But the resources in this world aren't enough for everyone. Forming groups could have worked, but you humans are too stupid to think about that.}

{The Axe Squad already took all the weapons. Their boss is also a Chosen One who possesses three elements, just like you. Instead of relying on his elements, the weapons will help him kill monsters faster, and of course, he'll get to purchase more weapons and any other things with the coins obtained. They've been waiting for the perfect opportunity for the monster apocalypse to start, so they already have enough weapons. Even if they run out, they can easily get more by killing monsters.}

{When I said things are going to dissapear once the apocalypse starts, I didn't mean they'll all just disappear. And like I said earlier that time in this world is faster than that on earth hence things will rot, decay faster.}

Scarlett clenched her fists and uttered "Fuck!!!!"
