"Oke, explain to me again, what happened last night?" Ask Yesa to Devan.
"I'm not sure how to explain this but, it's more escalated than we expected."
"How can it be? They were fighting again?"
Devan nodded. "Last night, Claire was pushed by Jasmine and Yohan took it really hard on her."
"Did you say Jasmine pushed Claire and then Yohan saw it so he got mad at her?"
"Yeah, that was what happened."
"Are you sure? Jasmine is the one who pushed her? Not the other way around?"
Devan went silent, he couldn't answer it, because he wasn't sure what happened too, at least he didn't want to put oil into the fire. And he knew it wasn't his place to talk about it.
Devan can see the situation better than anyone. Even though he has worked with Yesa only for four years, he knows everyone will be very concerned when Jasmine returns.
At first, he doesn't know what the connection between The Lesmana Family and The Kalerin Family is, after that dinner, he finally knows it, and all his questions are answered that night.
This is not just about Yesa and Yohan's friends with Jasmine, it is about their family relationship, maybe they weren't match-making their children, but they obviously wanted Jasmine and Yohan to be together, but they didn't want to use their own hands.
"Devan, answer me," said Yesa.
"I don't know what to say, sir. But what I saw first was Jasmin is on the ground, she got up herself, and then Claire is on the ground."
Yesa picks up his phone, someone is calling him. "Have you arrived yet?"
"Almost."
"Straight up to my office."
"Jasmine is here, sir?"
"Yes, and you stay."

Jasmine stood in front of Yesa's desk, like a student who was listening to their teacher accusing her but Yesa just sat on his chair and looked at her without saying anything.
"Come on just spill it," said Jasmine.
"Oh, now you want to talk to me after you threw me some bad words earlier?"
"You called me first, wanted me to come here, so I came. What do you want?"
"Devan said you pushed Claire, is that right?"
Jasmine looked at Devan who was beside Yesa. "You rat me out? And why do you defend her? Last time you asked me if I slept with Jesse, now you defend her? Defend the viper?"
"Sir, I didn't say that," Devan also tried to save himself. "I said I saw Claire fall, not say that Jasmine pushed Claire. I don't want to take a side."
"You were there, and you can explain the right thing to him?" Jasmine nearly shouted to Devan.
"Ok stop!" Yesa put it on hold for two of them. "Tell me what happened last night, you're making quite a scene when Jesse carried you last night."
"And if I tell you what the real deal is, what will you do? Giving Claire a lesson? Never mind, you won't do it anyway."
Yesa sighed. "Sit down, you sprained your leg."
Jasmine sat down. "Are you calling me just to ask that question?"
"No, I still have many questions, for example. Isn't there another way for you and Yohan to get together?"
"Why should I?"
"I've told you right when he lost you, he took it hard."
"That's his problem, not mine, I do take a hard time while waiting for him."
"Alexa, he became an alcoholic because of it."
"Put him in an AA meeting," Jasmine sighed. She looked at Yesa for a while. She didn't want to do this, but she had to make Yesa understand what she wanted.
"Do I have to stay next to him, and become his trophy? He was the first person who told me that we always be together, I was never mad at him when he dated Claire or had other friends. This is my feelings and he doesn't have to be responsible for it. But when he said he knew what was best for me, he thought that my life belonged to him when his heart was not. I don't like that. And the last thing was—"
"On your 18th birthday."
"Maybe I can take the hard punch, I can take the bullies, but that moment. I couldn't resist anymore. He said he would make it for our 17th birthday but he wasn't there either and you know that. And now he said that we celebrate 10 times? That was the last time, that's enough and I can't do it again. If you told me I should apologize to him, I'm sorry but I won't do it. He's the one who should, not me."
"Then you will continue like this until he apologizes to you?"
"You know I never ask him anything. I don't care if he wants to apologize or not, but he has to know what he did and don't blame other people for his actions. Our life, my life isn't just about him."
"Alexa, can I ask you not to give up on him?"
"I give up on him? Maybe yes I am. Can we stop talking about him? About this? I don't want to hear you blaming me too. Like he was never wrong about anything."
Yesa was silent, he let Jasmine release all her anger but he noticed something else from all her anger.
"Alexa, you're not doing that again, are you?"
"I said to you 12 years ago, you can keep my word, now you don't trust me?"
"That's not what I meant, I seriously ask you."
"I'm not. This is his time to fight for me. I've fought enough already."
Jasmine came out of Yesa's room, she was waiting for the lift and when the lift had reached her, and the door was open, Yohan was inside.
He didn't come out, and she went in there.
"Why don't you come out?" Jasmine asked.
"It should be me who asked the question. Why are you here? Isn't your foot sprained?"
"You're brother called me. And please like I said, don't act like you care about me."
Yohan sighed. "I don't know what happened when you're gone, you have changed. Didn't you know that?"
Jasmine doesn't answer the question, she doesn't want to talk to him right now.
"You told Yesa not to tell me where you are, you even dated your boss. How far have all those people changed you when I'm not there?"
"Oh my God. If people heard that, they would think that you care about me. When I'm gone, why did you only ask him? Why don't you ask your mom? Or my mom? Why? They know where I am. You just don't bother to find me, you just blame me for everything that happened to you."
"If Yesa doesn't tell you where you are, you think our mom will tell me? They wouldn't. No matter what happens I can't just pass by, we grow up together, and I do care about you."
"No, you don't! Let me tell you this. Not Jesse, the campus, my new friend, or Sydney who changed me like. It's you!"
"What? Why do you blame me for your mistakes? You're the one who left me and why was it my fault?"
"Keep being someone clueless and easily fooled and manipulated by Claire, you won't ever get your answer. Because no one ever manipulates me."
"Don't bring her into this conversation, she isn't wrong. In fact, Jesse was the one who manipulated you, he made you not contact me, and he also took you from me, you should leave him. I'm the one who can tie your hair, stroke it, and carry you!"
"Oh my God, Jesse made me leave you? I'm just your trophy not even your friend, you just put me beside you without even knowing what I felt. He didn't tell me not to contact you, I was the one who didn't want to call you. And he can do whatever you do before. And don't tell me to leave him, 'cause I never told you to break up with that snake!"
The lift opened and Jasmine walked out from it leaving Yohan inside alone after hearing the last word from Jasmine. He can't process it and Jasmine feels a bit relieved after flooding him with those words.
