Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: Contact with Moria!

"Commander Yeyin, we've spotted a strange ship," the lookout reported as he quickly approached Yeyin. "It's entirely black, almost like a ghost ship!"

"A ghost ship?" Yeyin frowned in confusion. "That doesn't make sense. Brook should have already left the West Blue"

It had been a long time since then, so why would there still be a ghost ship in the Western Sea?

"It's not the ghost ship we saw before," the lookout clarified.

"Not that one?" Yeyin's eyes narrowed. "The West Blue.. Could it be him?"

At that moment, Yeyin recalled someone: the eerie three-masted ship of the Thriller Bark Pirates, led by Captain Gecko Moria.

"Heh, if it's that guy, there must be some valuable things aboard!" The thought energized Yeyin immediately.

"Gecko Moria, bounty of 189 million," Yeyin muttered.

"Commander Yeyin, dealing with someone like that...," Hina said, her voice laced with worry.

After all, Moria was not comparable to the pirates they had encountered so far. If a fight broke out, it wouldn't be an ordinary one. Even though the marines' strength had improved considerably, they were still no match for a pirate crew of that caliber.

Even senior officers would hesitate to face them.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to fight," Yeyin reassured. "Issho, let's go."

"Alright," Issho replied, drawing his long sword and slicing a rock in half. The two of them stood on the rock and advanced toward the ship.

As Yeyin left, Hina sighed, feeling helpless.

Soon, Yeyin and Issho landed on the eerie three-masted ship.

"Negative ghosts!" As soon as they appeared, ghostly figures lunged at them.

"Overlord's Divine Break!"

Before the ghosts could reach them, a surge of powerful mental energy burst out. The ghosts fell to the ground, disappearing one by one.

"A navy officer?" A large figure slowly emerged. "Are you here to arrest me?"

"I believe you're heading to Marineford, right?" Yeyin said. "You'll have a seat as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

"So I have no intention of fighting you right now."

Hearing Yeyin's words, Moria's expression shifted to confusion.

"Seven Warlords of the Sea?" He was intrigued. An officer who didn't engage pirates directly also piqued his interest.

Yeyin recalled that Moria was invited to become a Warlord after Crocodile (Sir Crocodile) lost his status.

It didn't matter much; Law was still young, and there were only about seven eligible candidates for the Warlord positions now. As for Blackbeard, he was still with Whitebeard's crew.

Yeyin explained to Moria what the Seven Warlords of the Sea were, along with the privileges they enjoyed.

"I assume there's a condition for you recommending me as a Warlord?" Moria asked after listening to Yeyin's explanation.

"A condition?" Yeyin smirked. "I want you to go to the New World, find the Whitebeard Pirates, and tell me their location."
