"Black Sword - Sky Splitter!"
After blocking Yeyin's attack, Fire Mountain quickly retreated. Instantly, the sword in his hand turned a pitch-black color, and he unleashed a powerful slash.
"Cheater! Using that move again!"
"One Sword Style - Swallow Spin!"
Yeyin activated his Sharingan, directly discerning the direction of the attack. Simultaneously, he dodged the slash and moved in for a counterattack.
Clang!
Their swords clashed, and a shockwave spread out instantly.
"Those eyes of yours… that's your new ability, isn't it?"
"I better start racking up some accomplishments soon, or you'll surpass me!"
"Hahaha, Tremor Sword!"
As Fire Mountain spoke, the sword in his hand started to vibrate, which in turn affected the Muramasa in Yeyin's hand.
Crack... Crack... Clang!
Finally, the sword in Fire Mountain's hand shattered. But correspondingly, Yeyin was forced back. The vibration was intense, not something an ordinary person could withstand. Even a well-crafted sword with Armament Haki couldn't withstand it, let alone Yeyin's hand.
"Your fighting style sure ruins swords," Yeyin remarked, stepping toward Fire Mountain and picking up the shattered pieces from the ground.
"Haha! You brat, you fought me just for this, didn't you?" Fire Mountain laughed, taking a drag from his cigarette. "I can never quite warm up to you, you know that?"
[Ding! Picking up the broken sword Fire Mountain discarded, you gained Swordsmanship +2]
As the system chimed. Yeyin then collected all the pieces from the ground.
"Come on, let's go eat! My treat," Yeyin said with a grin.
"Oh, Yeyin, aren't you going to duel with me?" Strawberry approached, asking slowly.
"Nope. Fighting you wouldn't get me any broken swords," Yeyin replied dismissively. The only reason he fought Fire Mountain was that the guy lost a sword every time he fought, making it easy for Yeyin to collect some "junk."
"Rejected again," Strawberry said, feeling somewhat resigned.
The three of them headed into town.
"Captain Yeyin, did you do something terrible to the people here?" Fire Mountain joked, looking at the exceptionally clean streets. There wasn't a scrap of garbage in sight, and even the ground was spotless.
"Of course not! Now come on, let's go drink!"
Hearing Yeyin's suggestion, Strawberry's eyes lit up. He rarely drank, but…
"Hahahaha… this drink is amazing!"
"Hahaha…"
Two hours later, Strawberry's laughter echoed through the bar. Though he seemed serious on the outside, once he started drinking, he couldn't stop. This was exactly the effect Yeyin was going for. Strawberry could be quite the force when he let loose! Plates, bottles, and more littered the floor, but Yeyin cleaned it up quickly.
Later that evening, Yeyin returned to the ship feeling satisfied, but was greeted by a sudden visitor.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, what brings you to my ship?" Yeyin greeted him with a cheerful smile.
"Uh… let's talk for a bit. I'll make sure you're well compensated," Sengoku said slowly.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, you're here about Corazon, aren't you?" Yeyin guessed Sengoku's purpose for visiting.
