"Kyle Mephisto!"
A group of Auror Strikers stood in formation, their leader, Captain Pico Flint, eyeing Kyle with a tense expression.
"Good morning, Mr. Flint!" Kyle greeted cheerfully, his face lit up with a wide smile, completely unbothered by the squad blocking his path in such a public setting. "I didn't realize you were here waiting for me. If I had known, I would have come earlier and brought you some breakfast!"
Despite Kyle's friendly demeanor, Flint's vigilance did not waver. In fact, he tightened his grip on the wand hidden beneath his robe, ready to cast a spell at a moment's notice. The boy standing before him was known as the "Blood Demon," a reputation built on the deaths of more than 300 individuals, many of whom were powerful dark wizards.
"There's no need to be so tense," Kyle said with a reassuring smile, noticing the Aurors' unease. "I'm just a young wizard getting ready to start school. I don't know how to kill anyone. Ask anyone in Knockturn Alley—they'll tell you that I'm a good, helpful wizard!"
He shrugged, still grinning. "Besides, being nervous will only mess with your spellcasting. You wouldn't want to miss your target, would you? Especially with so many young wizards and their families around."
It was probably the first time any Auror Striker had been reassured by the very person they were assigned to keep an eye on. Flint's expression grew grimmer; he recognized Kyle's subtle threat. There were indeed too many innocent people around, and any misstep could lead to disaster.
"I'm here to deliver a message from Minister Fudge," Flint began, his voice stern. "Hogwarts is a renowned school of magic. Headmaster Dumbledore is the greatest white wizard of our time, and he will not tolerate any evil in his—"
Before Flint could finish, Kyle interrupted with a smirk, "So? My headmaster is the greatest white wizard of this century. What does that have to do with Fudge? This is my headmaster, not his."
With that, Kyle pulled out his Hogwarts acceptance letter from a magically expanded pocket. "Or does Minister Fudge intend to enroll at Hogwarts too?"
Flint found himself momentarily speechless, caught off guard by the boy's logic. It was, strangely enough, quite reasonable.
Kyle's grin grew wider as he saw Flint struggling to respond. "I just love it when you can't understand me but don't dare to make a move," he said playfully. "If there's nothing else, I'll be on my way. The train is about to leave, and I'm sure you don't want to see the Daily Prophet tomorrow reporting that the Ministry of Magic prevented a Hogwarts first-year from attending school, do you?"
"Go ahead," Flint said through gritted teeth, barely managing to hide his frustration. He knew, just as everyone else did, that Minister Fudge's message was futile. Did they really think the "Blood Demon" of Knockturn Alley would be intimidated by a warning from the Minister of Magic?
As the Aurors watched him board the train, Kyle settled into an empty compartment. "I didn't think Dumbledore would actually let me enroll," he murmured to himself, chuckling. "System, show me my stats."

Yes, Kyle was a time traveler, having crossed over to this world five years ago. How he arrived didn't matter much, only that he found himself in Knockturn Alley at age six, orphaned and alone.
Knockturn Alley was notorious for its lawlessness and violence. To survive, Kyle had little choice but to wield a wand he'd snatched.
Though he had engaged in activities like dueling, arson, and robbery, Kyle still considered himself a good person—much like the girls he used to know in his past life who'd swear they were good despite smoking, drinking, and partying. Anyone who dared disagree would get a swift reminder: Avada Kedavra.
Kyle's system had been activated as soon as he arrived in this world: the Emotional Treasure Chest System. As the name implied, treasure chests would appear whenever someone nearby experienced intense emotions. The stronger the emotional surge, the higher the quality of the chest.
The treasure chests came in five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Supreme, each containing various rewards, from magical abilities and talents to rare creatures. In the chaotic environment of Knockturn Alley, the system proved invaluable, where emotional turmoil, especially the kind brought on by death, was abundant.
His most significant talent, the Heart of Black Magic, was the result of merging countless black magic-related skills accumulated from the treasure chests. This essentially meant that all of his spells were inherently more potent.
As for why he was heading to Hogwarts, Kyle had a theory. The system seemed to have a hidden rule: interacting with prominent figures from the original story increased the likelihood of finding higher-level treasure chests.
