When I checked my room wall clock, it was almost 4: 00p.m in the evening. And I will be going for football training on my old town pitch around 4:30p.m.
I run out of my living room to Mum and Dad. They were sitting downstairs.
Hey, Mom.
Yeah, son. So, were you in your room? Said Mom.
Yeah Mom. I was in there, doing some clean up, Mom. Hey Dad.
Hey, son. I haven't seen you all this morning. Said Dad.
Sighs! Like I said, I was doing some cleaning up in my room.
Then you have been there for now and I don't think you have eaten this morning, son? Said Mom.
Oh! No Mom. I have, please.
And hey young man, won't you go for football training this evening? Said Mom.
I will Mom, and that's the reason I am down here lady.
A friend of yours called, and he said his name was Walker. Who is that son? Said Dad.
Oh, friendly Dad. And he lives with his family next door. We are in the same football team, and I always attend football training with him. Why Dad?
Oh? That's nothing, son. He just called the family cell phone, and I told him," You are not around", son. Said Dad.
Oh! No Dad. I was just up there, and you didn't call me.
Hey, young man. I didn't know you were up there in your living room, said Dad.
Okay fine, and what did he tell you?
He was just calling to ask whether you will be going for football training this evening, son. Said Dad.
Oh, okay Dad. And thank you for being friendly, just for today.
Lefah and his Mom Laughing!
Hey young man, you better watch your mouth over there and nobody should ask me anything again, out of this conversation. Said Dad.
But what your son is saying is right, and you should never allow his friends to come and play with him, and you shouldn't be doing that to his friends, honey. Said mom.
Yeah, yeah mom. Dad never welcomes them in, and I don't know why he is always like that. Lefah said it.
Hey, young man. I haven't asked you to say anytime and get out of here to get ready for training. Mommy said it immediately.
"Huh". I don't know why you and your son haven't understood me all these years. Said dad.
Hey Mom, hey dad. Thank you and I am going back there to get myself ready for training.
"Okay son and don't stay there for so long, it's getting late already". Said mom.
Okay mom. I run upstairs to get myself ready. And I even forgot to ask mom and dad about where TJ and Walker would be meeting for us to join the team together in our old town [American football pitch]. So, I ran back to mom and dad.
Hey, mom and dad. Did Walker tell you guys where we will be meeting this time, dad?
No! son. That boy was in a hurry to hang up the phone call before saying bye to me. Said dad.
"Oh! no. So, mom, you, see? Dad never likes to see them near me, and they also never want to talk to him. But it's fine and I am up there. I will be back soon.
When I was turning back to my living room, I overheard mom and dad down there.
So now, your son is a grownup man now to talk back to me, right?
'' Oh no, Haney. It's not that way and your son was just trying to defend his friends about how you treat them in a way. Said mom
Okay, fine. Like mother, like son. I am out of this now.
Door latch unlocks!
So, what am I going to do to get these boys? I was just thinking about it in my living room. And my cell phone was off. So, what I did was to switch on my cell phone and use it to call them.
Cell Phone ringing! [conference call].
Hey boys, who can guess the reason why I called this evening?
Hey, Lefah. You know we are not good at guessing Bro. Said TJ
Yeah, TJ is right and tells the mean point Lefah. Said Walker.
Okay, okay, fine. It's all about today's football days. Lefah said it.
Aww, I think it was about your friend, Pikfrend Water. Said TJ
Oh, my goodness! What are you saying? Bro. I met Pikfred online some days ago, and we had a little talk this morning. And besides, that boy has nothing to do with our conservation. So let his name be and let's talk TJ.
Okay. That's fine, and I am sorry about that, Lefah. Said TJ.
Hey, boys. No fighting. Can we talk now? Said walker.
Yeah, sure, so who is going with me this evening?
Hey, Lefah. We are all in for training. And your old man even called this morning about today's football training. And he said we should be there around 5:00p.m., said Walker.
Oh, I see, and my wall clock is almost 4:50p.m. Hey, hope you didn't promise to coach this time. Lefah said it.
Boys laughing!
Yeah, Walker the promised boy. TJ said it immediately.
Oh! No. Pikfred's best friend ever in town, said Walker, and he was trying to make fun of Lefah.
Hey, hold up their Walker. Pikfred is not part of this chat. Lefah said it, and he was referring to Walker.
TJ Laughing!
Oh! No. Boys. We have spent time now, and I think it is time for us to go now. So, walker, are you coming in your father's car?
Yeah, but I think I have to tell him first guys. So, let's get dressed and meet out-doorway. If possible, I will go in Dad's car. Said Walker.
Okay, promise boy. Said TJ
Hey, practical joker. Said Walker and he was referring to TJ.
Boys Laughing!
Hey boys, let's meet. Bye.
Call hangs up!
