"Holy crap that was scary!" Rethinking his last interaction, Viktor gave him an unknown pressure that freaked him out. It was only when he started blabbering on did this pressure started to wear down. "But what he said was true, if I can't face the stares, how can I fight someone in a life-or-death situation." Jake had no idea if that would ever happen but it's better to think of the worst situations to prepare thoroughly.
All he could do now was go through his exercises like yesterday until his sword fighting came up. "I think I will add more weight on this one." And just like that over an hour and a half passed, and Jake could feel the heat through his body. Finally, the sword part. As usual, the same couple of people who were here yesterday were also here. He wondered that since tomorrow was a weekend, he would see different people.
Unlike yesterday when he hid his vision from everything, he directly looked at where the others were, in preparation to be embarrassed. In his headphones is one of his favorite artists, Aerosmith, and the only thing now stopping him from greatness is himself.
It was embarrassing, especially when he saw the few glances people would give, but when he thought about his end goal and that old man's moves, he could only grit his teeth. After twenty minutes passed, Jake was wheezing and lying on the ground.
"Ah, this truly does feel good." Unnotiable to him, he started to fall in love with working out and slashing his stick. Patting his legs, he could feel they were already gaining strength back. "Chad did mention that cardio and stamina were a big part of being a swordsman and I would have to agree, if I can't even hold up long in a fight, how can I win?" With that thought, Jake ran on the treadmill till he couldn't feel his legs anymore.
Lying on a bench, he drank his protein drink and thought up his plans for later. When he first got the transformation vial, his first thought brought him back to the conversation those group of guys had on campus, "Yea, if I could be anyone it would be Colin Jost, the dude is freaking married to Scarlet Johanson…" Thinking of that statement, he knew how he could use that vial.
After a quick breather, Jake slowly walked home, as he tried not to trip on his own feet. When he got there, he packed a bag for himself. It had some nicer clothes, some nice cologne of his, and the vial within.
Eating before he left, he recounted everything and took a deep breath. "It's time to save Joana." Getting on the bus, the destination was the campus. It was still early in the morning, as Jake walked the streets. He was hoping to find someone to give him some information. When he saw a couple walking by, he walked up to them, "Excuse me, do you all know where this Purple Fox place is? A friend of mine said they would meet me there but I don't know where to find it?" According to their website, it was clear they had some kind of house they bought to hang out in.
"The Purple Foxes?" the guy looked Jake up and down before finally responding, "They got a special dorm inside the campus, it's just down the street two blocks, and on the left, it will be pretty clear what place it is." Jake thanked them before walking off.
"Why did you tell them where they are, he seems creepy?" The woman had a look of creepiness on her face. The man shook his head, "I don't know he seemed trustworthy." In his heart though, he had a thumbs up for Jake, 'Brother, I may not know you but I hope your mission of laying one in bed goes well for you.'
Walking down the street, Jake saw the building the man talked about. It was indeed obvious as it was painted purple and the sign on the front said 'Property of the Purple Foxes.' Could it be any more obvious? What makes them special to have their own place? Although Jake questioned it, he looked at multiple things before entering a public bathroom a block down.
In the bathroom, he took deep breathes. He had a picture of Lewis Spriggs in front of him, and felt nervous, "I hope its not just my face that changes." Closing his eyes, he sprayed the vial on himself. At the same time, he thought about Lewis and his body shape. After a moment, he felt nothing change. He was scared as he opened his eyes. His screen had turned black now, and he could see his reflection on the screen. "This…" Exiting the stall, he looked at the mirror and excitement, "It worked!" He looked like an exact twin of Lewis, down to his abs, which made Jake jealous.
Going back into the stall, he changed into his new set of clothes which was one of his fanciest pairs he had. Although it was a little big, for whatever reason, it still looked good on Lewis. "Man, this is so weird. Adjusting his tie, he looked at himself not being himself. "I'm gonna get freaked out if I stare too long." After that, he hid his bag behind a stall and exited the bathroom. Walking towards the Purple Foxes, his heart was beating fast. "What if someone saw through him? What if they get suspicious?" All of these thoughts of doubt crossed his mind, but as he counted down the time, he knew he had to meet Catherine quickly.
Arriving in front of the door, there was a call button. Taking in a deep breath, Jake pushed it. After a beep, Jake spoke, "Can I see Catherine? It's a surprise." After a moment he heard a girl's voice, "She will be so excited!" hearing the lock click, Jake thanked the girl before walking in. There were three floors in total, with the top two being rooms, and it looked like a huge apartment area, Jake saw the entrance with shoes and other bags, which made Jake even more nervous. "I am in a woman's apartment!" Stepping in, he looked around.
There was a staircase in front of him and a hallway that led to what seemed to be the dining area. Walking in, he saw a beautiful girl lying on the couch. As soon as he came in, he quickly put his finger over his mouth and whispered, "It's a surprise for her." the girl on the couch nodded quickly before he looked around. "It seems you all changed rooms, which one is hers right now?" The girl had a confused expression but still spoke, "We haven't switched but it might look different. It's still the one upstairs on the far left."
Hearing this, Jake thanked the girl and went upstairs. Upstairs was packed with rooms. It looked to be at least four rooms. He immediately looked to his left and saw a door with roses on it. Taking a deep breath he stepped toward it.
'This is where all my research has to be perfect.' In preparing for this meeting, he tried to learn as much as possible about Lewis and Catherine on the internet as he could. From interviews, Lewis seemed to be a soft-spoken man, making Jake feel a little surprised. He thought he would be more fierce in his actions. It worked out in his favor though as Jake would not have been able to play a fierce man.
But through all of the research he discovered one thing, no matter what he says, he could be caught. Jake simply had no idea who Lewis was to completely impersonate him. That's why he planned to barely talk at all!
