Sam's Point of View
I sat in my office, staring blankly at the stack of papers in front of me. My mind wasn't on the numbers or contracts; they were irrelevant compared to the chaos swirling around me. My family was unraveling before my eyes, and Uncle Peter's sudden shift in demeanor was gnawing at my thoughts.
The door creaked open, and Jonathan, my secretary, stepped in. His usual cheerful demeanor was subdued as he studied my expression.
"You don't look so good. What happened?" Jonathan asked, setting a cup of coffee on my desk.
I sighed heavily, rubbing my temples. "Honestly, Jonathan, I'm shocked by Peter's attitude lately. It's like he's a different person."
Jonathan's brow furrowed. "Is there something specific bothering you about him?"
Before I could answer, Jacob, my assistant, entered briskly. "Sir, you have a visitor."
"Who?" I asked, my tone tinged with impatience.
