The Casino Raid
Sam's Point of view
The night was thick with tension as I stood near the entrance of the casino, the neon lights casting a faint glow on the grimy pavement. My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of anticipation and dread swirling within me. Eliana, sharp as ever, leaned against the wall, her phone clutched in one hand as she waited for a message or call. Her team, dressed inconspicuously, loitered in the shadows, their sharp eyes scanning the surroundings.
"What's the update?" I asked, breaking the silence.
Eliana didn't look at me as she replied. "The guy with the tattoo, the informant from the other day, just called. He says Cabo will be here soon. He's a high-value target, Sam. Don't mess this up."
I nodded, ignoring the sharp edge in her voice. Cabo finally, the name that had haunted me for years might lead to the answers I'd been searching for.
