Sam's Point of View
I stepped out of the car, adjusting my suit as I approached the towering building that housed Robert's office. The gleaming facade and busy lobby reflected Robert's ambition, but I knew better than to be fooled by appearances. This wasn't just a social visit. I was here for answers, and I wouldn't leave without them.
Jonathan followed close behind me, his usual smirk replaced with a curious expression. "You sure about this?" he asked, glancing at me sideways.
I nodded, my jaw tightening. "Positive. Robert knows more than he's letting on, and it's time he starts talking."
As we entered the office, Robert's secretary greeted us with a polite smile, but her eyes betrayed a flicker of nervousness. I filed that away for later, my gaze sweeping the room.
