When the strike from Sarah landed where he should've been a ripple was created as if the air itself tried to strike back. She looked at her hand for a second then slowly looked toward him slightly shocked by his sudden pull back.
Soul stood there for a moment taking in the sight of what she was capable of. As he slowly started to walk towards her his energy shifted again changing back to what it was before, canceling his berserker transformation. The air around him grew heavier as he once again became surrounded by smoke and ash. The wooden daggers shifted in the ground the aura around them growing more vibrant. Tilting his head Soul looked at her then dissipated into smoke appearing right behind her with his hand out. In response one of the daggers flew into the air cutting her cheak as it reached his hand.
The cut healed as she spun around swinging to hit him but he was no longer there, he had moved beside her landing a strong kick to her abdomen sending her flying into the wall. As she was getting back up the other dagger had flown to Soul, he caught it as he advanced toward her once more. He swung the blade creating a split in the air as the aura of ash moved toward her.
The attack was to fast for her to completely dodge, although she was grazed by it the cut on her arm started to burn as the ash spread up it through the cut. Instantly Soul shifted and reappeared from inside the attack landing right behind her throwing a kick right onto the cut breaking her arm and sending her flying once more. Sending another ash blade toward her he dissipated once more, she slid on the floor then narrowly dodged the attack before receiving the hilt of the wooden dagger on the center of her spine.
Her body was fighting to heal and absorb the attacks but they were non stop, and the ash spreading through her was fighting against the healing affect. It was infused with Soul's aura to keep it from being healed so quickly.
Soul walked over to Sarah as she struggled to get up twirling one of the daggers, he knelt down and grabbed her by the hair and lifted her to eye level looking at her with a smirk before dropping her back onto the ground.
"You did good today welcome to the team. I want you beside me on the front lines from now on..., don't disappoint."
[Wake up child you have earned the right to break free of the limits that once chained you. You have proven worthy to receive my blessing once more.]
An angel stood in front of Sarah although she was no longer in the training room. She stood in a beautiful field populated by flowers all around, with thick forest surrounding them in the distance. It was late night with the moon shining brightly in the clear sky, accompanied by bright stars.
It looked identical to the simulation the Lost King used because this was the place it was based off of, the place all who transcended their boundaries awaken. This place was the divine realm and could only be accessed through awakening. Those chosen were called upon to receive blessings from those before. The time here was different it moved faster so that those chosen could face a trail to ascended.
In the mortal realm as Soul started to walk away the ground began to rumble and a bright light fell through the ceiling onto Sarah, the light was warm and comforting like a hug by a fireplace, in felt as if the love of God filled the room to comfort it's broken child. Soul stopped and turned looking into the light with a surprised expression.
As the light hugged her broken body it began to reshape her making her stronger. Her muscles toned, her aura became stronger, her body more resilient. Her blonde hair shone beautifully as it became healthier, her green eyes brighter as all the imperfections left her body.
As the light began to fade everyone stared in awe at her beauty, she stood there radiating with power looking at her hands grasping her new strength in the mortal realm. Soul readied himself expecting the fight to continue, in that moment though a pulse of energy rushed from her hitting everyone in the room including him. As the pulse rushed outward all who had been injured were healed instantly, and as the pulse moved back toward her everything had been passed onto Soul.
Soul spat out blood as his body wavered, his movements became slow as he shakily moved his hands toward his face. The others began to regain consciousness including Jack who stood slowly rubbing his jaw from the phantom pain.
Sarah watched as Soul stumbled and almost fell over, as blood seeped from his eyes and nose. Catching himself though his body began to vibrate violently and ash began to swirl around him encompassing it completely. When it dispersed his body had becomr good as new as if nothing happened, his hair had gone back to it's normal black color his eyes had returned to normal. As the mask on his face began to dissipate revealing his smile, two smokey figures began to step out from behind him.
Throughout the city wraiths protected the people and cared for them like family, but those wraiths didn't come here on their own, they were brought here originating from Soul. They were the manifestations of those he'd killed still holding the power they died with and growing along side him.
Stepping out from behind him the wraiths stood surveying the room emanating a dark aura. On the right of Soul a circle of smoke formed, dipping his hand into it he began to pull out a ghostly green longsword that emanated a strong force of power.
The sword itself was of the divine rank with the ability to attack the soul directly if the user wished. It had a ghostly green aura surrounding it's black blade, the black hilt held an emerald on its base that shone when it's soul attack activated. It had symbols and markings running up the blade as well as the hilt. The white straps around the hilt grasp onto the user's arm connecting one another in order to diminish the user's own soul to deal the fatal blow, making it so the attack couldn't be abused. An eye for an eye is the rule the sword follows, although the user can replenish their own soul with time, the blade's strike damages the soul indefinitely.
Seeing the blade Jayden stood up deactivating his forcefield, seeing him move from the corner of his eye Soul deactivated his abilities including his wraiths, and put the sword back. Soul smirked then sighed the fight could have gone longer .
"Damn was just about to get interesting... ugh maybe next time."
As Soul said this he waved his hand dismissing everyone, in that moment Sarah had collapsed from the exhaustion of her body and mind, although she was rejuvenated from the awakening everything still weighed heavily on her including the trail she had gone through to transcend.
Seeing her collaps Jack used his wind ability to catch and carry her toward the recovery rooms.
Looking at her as she was carried out Soul's eyes started to glow with a smile growing on his face. Activating his God Eyes skill that was gifted to all divine ability bearers, he examined the changes.
"Jay update the system, Class Mythic, no surprise, but her ability has changed as well it's Divine ranked now."
Jayden looked at Soul in surprise for a moment then looked back down at the tablet the android handed him.
"Divine huh, quite the leap, the trial must've been hell."
"Rare to see an ability jump but even rarer to jump three ranks, it even has a new name. She's truly favored..., yet I shudder to think of what she went through in that place."
Name: Sarah Lance
Class: Legendary < Mythic
Rank: Legendary < Divine
Ability: Healing touch < ....

In a dimly lit throne room a man with glowing white eyes sat holding a glass with a green ethereal substance in it.
"Oh, a new ability has awoken how interesting. And what a tasty treat it seems to be."
Below him sitting on the steps leading up another man with smokey black hair sat, his eyes glowing white and a smile on his face.
"A new Diviner this late in the game... things are getting interesting. It's a shame our little friend couldn't stay longer."
"He won't miss much, I'm more interested in our new divine friend. "Touch Of Grace"... has a nice ring to it.
The man sipped from the glass, the ethereal smoke not only entering his mouth but his nose and eyes as well. Once the glass was empty power pulsed from his body and his pupils seemed to look like black holes for a split second.
Behind the throne the husk of a young man lay, its skin withered and old his once black hair white as a ghost.
