Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Summoning The First Strategist!

"Who?!"

With his Three Tomoe spinning, Shisui quickly got up and drew his Tachi, his expression serious.

However, no matter how he searched, he could not sense any unfamiliar presence.

"Do you want to know the future of the Uchiha? Do you want to stop feeling lost?"

The cold voice rang out again, and beads of sweat slowly trickled down Shisui's forehead. This voice stirred a strange familiarity within him, as if he had heard it somewhere before.

But he did not respond. The Three Tomoe began to spin faster, transforming into a pinwheel shape; this was the legendary power recorded in the Uchiha Clan, the Mangekyo Sharingan!

His ocular power reached its peak, yet he still perceived nothing.

"Yes or no?"

The voice in his mind seemed to lose patience and did not repeat its previous words.

"The future of the Uchiha?"

Shisui cautiously observed the tent while feeling deeply conflicted inside.

He recalled the internal conflicts among his clan, the clashes with the Hokage, and the disputes with the villagers.

After a moment, he slowly sheathed his Tachi and retracted the Mangekyo Sharingan.

"To convey information before these eyes, I suppose I have no choice but to trust you."

Lowering his guard was undoubtedly very dangerous for a ninja; however, he couldn't solve the issues between his clan and the village, which constantly filled him with pain.

If only...

"Yes, please tell me the future of the Uchiha. Please let me stop feeling lost!"

As his deep voice fell, a sudden gust of wind swept through the tent. Shisui's vision went dark, and when it returned, he was already standing in the Uchiha Compound.

Night, overcast, silent.

"Brother Kai! Clan Head, Elder!"

However, what greeted him was not the familiar clan members, but corpses with their eyes gouged out.

Countless of clansmen lay dead, blood flowing like rivers; whether old or young, ninja or civilian, they all fell in pools of blood, cold and stiff.

In the vast Uchiha territory, not a single clan member could be found.

Shisui stood frozen, his eyes instinctively widening.

"No, this isn't real. How could this happen?"

With his eyes, such a thing shouldn't be possible!

He took a step forward, and a familiar figure appeared before him, lonely and strange.

"Itachi."

The vision vanished, and Shisui returned to the tent, staring blankly at moon outside. After a moment, he regained his usual calm demeanor.

"Itachi, it seems quite a lot has happened. However, using force and violence is not the way to achieve true peace at all."

He maintained a calm expression; although the information revealed by the vision was limited, he still faintly guessed something.

However, those were matters for the future. He focused again on a screen in the void.

Points: 1

Strategist: None

The moment the panel appeared, it informed him of how to use it. He could use one point to summon a strategist, and the points would increase by one each year. In addition to summoning, points could also be used to enhance the strategist's power.

"Please help me find my way out of this confusion!"

Shisui's expression turned solemn. He knew that even if he understood the future of the Uchiha, he still lacked the means to help the clan rebuild bridges with Konoha.

As he consumed a point, a faint light transformed into a human figure emerging from the moonlight.

The moonlight fell like a cloak over his tall and imposing figure; he had a weak aura, but his eyes shone brightly, and his sharp gaze swept over like that of a hawk.

The two locked eyes for a moment, and Shisui felt as if he were facing an army of thousands, a mountain of corpses, and a sea of blood. It was as if everything about him was being seen through. Even when facing the Third Hokage, he had never felt such pressure—this was not physical but psychological.

The old man stood tall, glancing at Shisui before clasping his hands behind his back and quietly surveying the surroundings.

After a moment, he gently stroked his long beard and said with a smile, "I never expected to arrive in this world after death. The world is vast; it truly is marvelous."

Shisui took a step forward, behaving respectfully. "Sir."

The old man looked at Shisui's red pupils, marveling repeatedly. "You are Uchiha Shisui? What a remarkable clan."

"Yes, sir. May I know your name?"

"Hahaha, I am Sima Yi. But it seems I have also become a member of the Uchiha now. Outside, you can call me Uchiha Yi, and privately, you can call me sensei."

Sima Yi wore a smile. Before coming to this world, he had been informed that he had gained the Uchiha bloodline. Since he had already died once, he didn't care much about changing his surname.

Shisui was delighted and a bit excited, nodding repeatedly. "Yes, sensei!"

"Sensei, the Uchiha clan and the village..." Shisui recounted his current situation.

Sima Yi waved his hand. "No rush. In the face of significant matters, one must remain calm and not act too hastily."

Shisui paused and finally settled down. "Yes, sensei."

"Do you have any historical books?"

Sima Yi didn't know much about this world, and without any information, he couldn't provide any advice.

"Historical books?"

Shisui was taken aback, then smiled awkwardly. "We do have some books that record the family's past, but I haven't gone through them."

"Haven't gone through them?"

Now it was Sima Yi's turn to be stunned. In the brief memories he gained, the Uchiha was a prominent clan, yet a descendant of such a large family had never read historical books?

"Then what have you read?"

It couldn't be all just those Ninjutsu, right? Wouldn't that make him a mindless brute?

Shisui pondered for a moment before replying, "I have read my grandfather's 'Insights on Using the Sharingan,' 'Comprehensive Guide to Genjutsu,' 'Detailed Explanation of Ninja Tools,' as well as the clan's 'Basic Fire Release Techniques,' 'Intermediate Fire Release Techniques,' 'Human Anatomy Illustration,' and 'Trap Disassembly.'"

Shisui spoke for three minutes straight, and without exception, all he mentioned were killing techniques.

"Ninja..."

Sima Yi shook his head. From Shisui's learning experiences, he could sense the uniqueness of the Ninja profession.

"Of course, there's one more important book, Lord Third's 'Will of Fire.' This book has always been with me. Would you like to take a look, sensei?"

Shisui's eyes lit up as he pulled out a slightly wrinkled book, showing that its owner often read it.

"It's actually made of paper."

Sima Yi did not refuse and took the book, letting out a soft sigh before carefully flipping through it.

After just three pages, he frowned slightly. Then, with a quick glance, he finished reading the entire book in just a few minutes.

Sima Yi raised his head, his gaze sharp and carrying a hint of depth as he looked at Shisui. "What do you think about the content of this book?"

"Konoha flourishes where the fire thrives. The fire will continue to illuminate the village and help the new leaves sprout. This is the will that Lord Third has always upheld—the Will of Fire. It represents hope for coexistence between Konoha and Uchiha!"

Upon mentioning the Will of Fire, Shisui's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"This book is quite good; it will be a great help for our next actions."

Sima Yi judged in his heart, but seeing Shisui's enthusiasm, he refrained from speaking directly.

When a person's thoughts are solidified in a book, their persona becomes defined, especially if that person is the highest leader—words can lead to actions, and they can stand undefeated.

"Right? I knew it! The Third who could write such a book must surely help Uchiha." Seeing that his sensei also recognized the book, Shisui felt a bit happier and couldn't help but say a few more words.

Sima Yi shook his head at Shisui's confident attitude and sighed lightly:

"The way seeing the world cannot be stubbornly one-sided."

"Eh? What does that mean?"
