After a brief exchange of blows, John Doe sent his opponent flying with a punch.
However, the opponent's ability to dissipate force was clearly remarkable; being knocked away was not a big deal for her.
Ribrianne leaped high into the air, curling into a ball, and rolled towards John Doe to attack.
A massive pink ball, adorned with a round chubby face, charged directly at John Doe.
As the giant ball approached closer and closer, John Doe felt his strength waning as he faced that large, fat face.
He desperately wanted to avoid any contact, so he leaped away from the spot.
The giant meatball rolled past him and continued its trajectory into the distance.
At that moment, Android 18 landed beside John Doe and asked, "What happened just now? Why didn't you attack?"
John Doe looked at his hands and replied, "She was just too ugly; my body instinctively reacted to avoid her."
Upon hearing this, Android 18's expression brightened, and she asked, "So who do you think is prettier, me or her?"
John Doe immediately responded, "That's obvious! You're much prettier. In fact, comparing you to her is an insult to you!"
Android 18 nodded in satisfaction, confirming that her husband's taste was still intact. She then said, "Alright then. Since she's too ugly for you to handle, I'll take care of her."
"Can you?" John Doe asked.
"Don't worry; it'll be fine. You go help Goku and Vegeta," Android 18 said before jumping towards Ribrianne.
John Doe then noticed that Goku was already facing off against Jiren while Toppo and Vegeta were watching from the sidelines.
He jumped over to their vicinity.
Seeing John Doe approach, Toppo immediately distanced himself from them, fearing that John Doe and Vegeta would team up against him. He knew he couldn't handle both of them.
John Doe waved his hand and said, "It's fine; don't mind me. I'm here to watch Goku fight Jiren."
Not only John Doe but also the impending battle between Goku and Jiren caught Hit's attention. He quickly resolved his own opponent and appeared on another mountain peak.
Soon many spectators gathered around. While most warriors were indifferent to Goku, everyone's focus was on Jiren—the strongest warrior of Universe Eleven, said to rival a Destroyer God.
Goku looked at Jiren and said, "Jiren, you're finally willing to fight me."
Jiren replied, "That's because you're so annoying. I didn't want to eliminate you from the arena this early."
Goku excitedly stated, "I don't care when I'm eliminated; I just want to fight you and settle this!"
With that declaration, Goku took his stance.
Facing Goku's impending attack, Jiren merely opened his eyes slightly. An overwhelming aura surged forth towards Goku.
Confronted with this immense pressure, Goku could only cross his arms in front of him as he was pushed back a considerable distance by the force.
Not only Goku but many other warriors present were also affected by Jiren's aura. Fortunately for them, Jiren wasn't targeting them; however, they now understood just how powerful he was.
Jiren slowly lowered his crossed arms and simply watched Goku.
Vegeta asked John Doe, "Do you think Kakarot can defeat Jiren?"
John Doe replied, "Unless Goku can officially enter the Ultra Instinct state, he stands no chance against Jiren—it's like a 0 to 10 comparison; Goku has no chance of winning."
"Is that so?" Vegeta pondered thoughtfully.
"Even if Goku manages to enter Ultra Instinct by some stroke of luck, unless he can maintain it consistently, he still won't be able to match Jiren," John Doe continued explaining with apprehension about Jiren's strength.
"The biggest difference between us Saiyans and Jiren is stamina. Jiren possesses this level of power as a baseline while we need transformations. The burden from transforming far exceeds our normal state," he added.
Vegeta fell silent for a moment before suddenly asking, "When Zeno proposed eliminating our eight universes, why did you suggest holding the tournament? Did you have confidence from the start that we would win?"
John Doe smiled slightly but didn't answer directly. Instead he said, "Let's see how strong Jiren is first. It's perfect timing with Goku testing Jiren's strength for us; we're still far from the real decisive battle—now is not the time."
Just as they finished their conversation, Goku unleashed a Kamehameha wave.
However, it had no effect; the powerful Kamehameha was blocked by Jiren's energy wall. Jiren had compressed his overwhelming aura into an invisible barrier that even ordinary attacks couldn't touch him.
Seeing this unfold, Vegeta remarked: "Now I can confirm that Goku isn't Jiren's match. At least we can't reach that level even in Super Saiyan Blue at full power."
As Goku realized that his Kamehameha wasn't effective in its base form, he transformed into Super Saiyan and charged at Jiren.
Despite facing Super Saiyan Goku's barrage of punches, Jiren remained unfazed; he didn't even blink at the flurry of attacks coming his way.
Vegeta commented from the side: "Kakarot has once again failed at probing like this."
John Doe nodded in agreement: "But this also confirms that Jiren wants to see what Goku can do at full strength; that's why he's not retaliating immediately."
Noticing that Super Saiyan form wasn't working effectively against Jiren either, Goku transformed again into Super Saiyan God and attacked him once more.
In response to Goku's Super Saiyan God state, Jiren merely raised one hand to defend himself—he only needed one finger for defense.
Toppo remarked nearby: "You Saiyans transform quite often but does it even matter? You can't even break through Jiren's defenses."
As Goku continued launching attacks while Jiren defended with just a finger, the arena beneath them began collapsing under their power as it spread outwards.
Realizing that even in Super Saiyan God form he couldn't force out all of Jiren's strength, Goku finally decided it was time for his final transformation.
With a mighty roar echoing through the arena, an overwhelming aura erupted from Goku as it expanded outward. As his energy surged higher, his hair turned blue along with his eyebrows and pupils while blue flames enveloped him completely.
