Chapter 244 - Chapter 9: The Tenth Universe's Zamasu

Beerus, the Destroyer God, was indeed formidable. Although Goku's relationship with Zeno was somewhat unexpected, the outcome wasn't too bad. At least, if in the future, Zeno decides to eliminate the Seventh Universe, Beerus hopes that Zeno will spare it for Goku's sake.

Beerus regained his composure and turned to the Supreme Kai, saying, "Let's go to the Kai Planet and find Kibito. We'll ask him why he wants to swap bodies with John Doe."

But before they could set off, Kibito suddenly appeared on Earth, in front of John Doe, with a flash of movement.

Before Beerus could ask a question, Kibito shouted, "Supreme Kai, something terrible is about to happen!"

Beerus, who was about to ask a question, immediately inquired, "What's the matter? Why are you so flustered? We're all here. What are you afraid of?"

Kibito then noticed Beerus, the Destroyer God, and greeted him, "Lord Beerus."

"Alright, no need for formalities. Just tell me what's got you so worked up that you've lost your divine composure," Beerus interrupted.

Kibito collected himself and said, "It's like this. Zuno just sent us a message. He said that a god named Zamasu had inquired about some matters, and he found them extremely terrifying, so he notified us."

"Zamasu, the apprentice Supreme Kai from the Tenth Universe?" The Supreme Kai exclaimed in surprise. "What did he inquire about?"

"He inquired about three things. First, he asked about everything related to John Doe, no matter how big or small. He gathered very comprehensive information."

"Second, he asked if using the Super Dragon Balls could allow a god to swap bodies with John Doe."

"And third, he asked if the Super Dragon Balls could grant the wish of making someone immortal."

Kibito recounted all three of Zamasu's inquiries in detail.

"So, it was this guy," Beerus said angrily. "There's no mistake; he's the one who wished to swap bodies with John Doe. This guy is the imposter, and I never would've guessed that the enemy is from the Tenth Universe."

Beerus then walked behind Whis and said, "Let's go, Whis. We'll meet this guy named Zamasu."

At this moment, the Supreme Kai said, "Lord Beerus, I can teleport you there."

Beerus angrily replied, "No need. You should focus on your own safety. I haven't settled the score with you for your actions against Buu yet."

John Doe and Goku simultaneously asked, "Lord Beerus, can I come with you? I want to meet this Zamasu."

Beerus directly refused, "No, this is a matter between gods. You shouldn't get involved."

"So, you should prepare to deal with the imposter. If he truly has an immortal body, it won't be easy to defeat him."

After saying this, Beerus instructed Whis, "Let's go, Whis. I'm heading to the Kai Planet in the Tenth Universe."

Then, under everyone's gaze, Whis and Beerus transformed into a rainbow light and disappeared into the sky above Earth.

As Beerus and Whis vanished in the sky, John Doe turned to the Supreme Kai and asked, "Supreme Kai, do you know Zamasu? Do you know why he chose to swap bodies with me? Goku and Vegeta have powerful bodies too, no less than mine."

Vegeta, who had just come out of the gravity room, immediately heard John Doe's words and perked up his ears.

He also wanted to know why Zamasu had chosen to swap bodies with John Doe, disregarding himself and Kakarot.

The Supreme Kai spoke up, "I'm not very familiar with Zamasu either. I only met him recently."

"By the way, Kibito, didn't you spar with him last time?" The Supreme Kai said to Kibito.

Everyone's attention turned to Kibito, and Goku curiously asked, "Kibito, how did your spar with him go?"

Kibito replied with some embarrassment, "Sorry, I wasn't his match. I lost after just a dozen or so rounds."

John Doe followed up with a question, "So, what do you think of Zamasu's character?"

Kibito thought for a moment and said, "He's very aggressive. As an apprentice Supreme Kai, every move he makes is a killing blow. Especially at the end, if Gowasu hadn't stopped him in time, I believe Zamasu's final attack would've been lethal."

"Even if I didn't die, I would've been severely injured."

Everyone listened to Kibito's words, and from what he said, they could at least understand that Zamasu was an extremely aggressive person.

His aggressiveness was proof that he wasn't a benevolent person, possibly due to his extreme hatred for humans.

John Doe continued, "But how did Zamasu get to know me? I'm in the Seventh Universe, and he's in the Tenth."

"The only time I've had contact with another universe was because of Lord Champa, when I fought with the Sixth Universe's contestants."

"But this competition doesn't seem to be public, right? It's a private battle between the Sixth and Seventh Universes. How did Zamasu find out about me?"

Hearing John Doe's question, the Supreme Kai scratched his face in embarrassment and said, "Sorry, I leaked the information."

Everyone turned to look at the Supreme Kai, and John Doe asked, "Supreme Kai, how did you introduce me?"

The Supreme Kai recalled and said, "After Kibito and Zamasu's spar, I praised Zamasu for his strength, and Gowasu also praised us for defeating Buu."

"Buu was clearly defeated by Mr. John Doe, Mr. Goku, and Mr. Vegeta. I wouldn't take credit for your achievements, so I told them that defeating Buu was not my doing but yours."

"Probably because of this, Zamasu learned about Mr. John Doe."

"That doesn't make sense either. Why did Zamasu choose John Doe among the three of us?" Vegeta asked.

At this point, Kibito, who was standing to the side, said, "Maybe he watched the battle video between the Sixth and Seventh Universes on the GodTube. In the end, Mr. John Doe won, so Zamasu probably thought that Mr. John Doe was the strongest."

"GodTube?!" John Doe exclaimed in surprise. "Is it a video website?"

"Yes," Kibito replied. "It's our internal video network for the gods."
