Chapter 229 - Chapter 23: Match Five

Vados slightly waved her Angel Staff, and with a flash of light, the original arena was instantly restored.

The host and referee loudly announced, "Ah, as the tournament progresses, the Sixth Universe now has only two remaining participants, but the Seventh Universe has yet to eliminate a single contestant. I believe the upcoming matches will become even more exciting."

"Will the Sixth Universe be able to turn the tables, and will the Seventh Universe continue to maintain its winning advantage? Let's welcome the fourth contestant from the Sixth Universe, Cabba!"

The Sixth Universe's supporters cheered and clapped enthusiastically.

Cabba was a short person who seemed not to have reached adulthood yet, and his body had barely any muscles.

Cabba stepped onto the arena and approached Vegeta, extending his hand and saying, "Mr. Vegeta, hello. You're a Saiyan from the Seventh Universe, right? I'm Cabba, a Saiyan from the Sixth Universe."

Vegeta was stunned by Cabba's words, but then he thought it made sense. After all, the Sixth and Seventh Universes were symmetrical, even having mirror versions of Frieza, so it was only natural that the Saiyans would be no exception.

Vegeta extended his hand and shook Cabba's, saying, "Mr. Cabba, nice to meet you. This is truly astonishing. I never imagined I would be able to see fellow Saiyans from other universes."

The conversation between Vegeta and Cabba on the arena also caught the attention of those on the Seventh Universe's side. Goku sighed, "Being able to see a Saiyan from the Sixth Universe is indeed a strange experience."

"Where do you live in the Sixth Universe?" Vegeta asked Cabba.

"We live on Planet Sadala," Cabba replied.

"Planet Sadala still exists?!" Vegeta exclaimed in surprise.

Cabba, also surprised, asked, "What do you mean? Why are you asking this? Does Planet Sadala not exist in the Seventh Universe?"

Vegeta responded, "Yes, in our universe, Planet Sadala was destroyed due to civil war among the Saiyans. Later, we seized another planet and renamed it Planet Vegeta..."

Hearing Vegeta's words, Cabba quickly interrupted him and asked, "Wait, what do you mean by 'seized'?"

Vegeta found Cabba's question even more peculiar and said, "Seizing means exactly what it sounds like. It's about taking something by force."

"But why? Why would you seize someone else's planet? Don't you feel guilty about it?" Cabba inquired.

"Oh, we stopped doing that later on. I now live on Earth as well," Vegeta replied. Then, realizing the implications of Cabba's words, he directly asked, "No, don't tell me that the Saiyans in the Sixth Universe don't seize planets and then sell them for profit?"

Cabba quickly shook his head and said, "No, the Saiyans in the Sixth Universe would never seize someone else's planet. We've always been hired by others to help fight against space pirates."

"Oh, I see! No wonder you still live on Planet Sadala. It's because you're good people," Vegeta said.

At that moment, Champa shouted from the stands, "Hey, you two, how long are you going to keep chatting? Get the match started already!"

Hearing Champa's words, Vegeta snapped back to his senses. He turned to Cabba and said, "Now is not the time for us to chat. I hope I'll have the chance to visit Planet Sadala in your universe someday."

Cabba nodded and replied, "That would be wonderful. I'll be waiting for your visit on Planet Sadala."

Meanwhile, Goku said to John Doe, "I never imagined that the Saiyans in the Sixth Universe would all be good people."

John Doe nodded and replied, "Yes, although the Sixth and Seventh Universes are symmetrical, with many creatures existing as mirror images of each other, it doesn't mean that the personalities of the beings on both sides are the same. It's clear that the developmental history of the beings on both sides is different, and it might even be the opposite."

With the sound of a gong, the battle between Vegeta and Cabba began.

As both were Saiyans, Vegeta clearly wasn't using his full strength, and it was more like a friendly sparring session between fellow Saiyans.

After a dozen or so exchanges, both had scored hits on each other; Vegeta landed a punch on Cabba, and Cabba kicked Vegeta.

By this point, Vegeta had a good sense of Cabba's current strength.

Since Cabba had been chosen by Champa as a participant, it was clear he wasn't an ordinary Saiyan.

Vegeta said, "Alright, the testing is over. Let's both show our full strength." After saying this, Vegeta immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Then, facing Cabba, Vegeta said, "Come on, quickly transform into a Super Saiyan, and let's settle this once and for all."

However, Cabba didn't transform. Instead, he looked at Vegeta with a face full of admiration.

Vegeta found Cabba's gaze strange and couldn't help but frown, asking, "Why aren't you transforming? Do you look down on me?"

Hearing Vegeta's words, Cabba shook his head and said, "No, Mr. Vegeta, I can't transform into a Super Saiyan."

"Can't transform? What do you mean by that?" Vegeta was a bit taken aback. With Cabba's current strength in his base form, he should be able to transform into a Super Saiyan.

Cabba walked up to Vegeta and bowed, saying, "Mr. Vegeta, in the Sixth Universe, there are no Saiyans who can transform into Super Saiyans. I beg you to teach me how to transform into a Super Saiyan."

"What? You're asking your opponent for help right here on the arena?!" Vegeta was immediately enraged and attacked Cabba.

The difference in strength allowed Vegeta to land a punch on Cabba's abdomen with a single strike, causing Cabba to spit out fresh blood and vomit uncontrollably.

Vegeta flipped over and kicked Cabba in the head, knocking him to the ground.

Vegeta stepped on Cabba's head with his foot and said viciously, "Since you can't transform into a Super Saiyan, where do you get the confidence to participate in the Martial Arts Tournament?"

"If that was your full strength just now, I think you should admit defeat," Vegeta said, gradually increasing the force of his foot.

Bulma, watching from the stands, became concerned when she saw Vegeta's behavior. She said, "I hope Vegeta isn't having a relapse of his evil side. I hope he won't kill Cabba."

John Doe, standing next to her, said, "Don't worry. Vegeta must have his reasons. The current Vegeta is a good person."
