After Beerus' boastful statement, he turned to Whis and said, "Whis, bring out a little of each delicacy we brought back from Earth. Let my brother Champa have a taste and open his eyes to new experiences."
Whis, well aware of his master's intentions, waved his staff lightly on the table, instantly filling it with countless delicious dishes.
Compared to Beerus, Champa was more of a foodie, as evident from his plump physique. He particularly favored junk food.
As Champa gazed at the table full of delicacies, his mouth watered, and he began to eat, stuffing the food into his mouth.
Champa was overjoyed and exclaimed, "This is truly delicious!" He quickly shoveled the food into his mouth, and in no time, the entire table of food had disappeared into his stomach.
Only after he had devoured everything did Champa, his mind clouded by the delicious food, regain his senses. He looked at Beerus, who was smiling mischievously, and his face turned red with embarrassment.
Champa, slightly annoyed, said, "Alright, alright, I admit you won the food contest. That's enough."
Beerus shrugged nonchalantly and said, "You're the one who brought it up. I didn't force you."
At this point, Champa asked, "Where did you get all these delicacies? If you have them in your universe, shouldn't our sixth universe have them too?"
Beerus didn't hide anything and replied directly, "I obtained all these delicacies from a planet called Earth."
Upon hearing Beerus' words, Champa immediately turned to Vados and said, "Vados, quickly find the Earth in our sixth universe!"
Vegeta, intrigued, asked, "What do you mean? Does the sixth universe have another Earth?"
Whis, hearing Vegeta's question, began to explain to John Doe and the others. "In this world, there are a total of twelve universes. The universe we are in is the seventh universe, and the one Champa is from is the sixth universe."
"These twelve universes are paired, with the sum of their numbers being thirteen. For example, the first and twelfth universes, and the sixth and seventh universes."
"In these paired universes, matter exists in a symmetrical manner. Initially, the two universes were identical, but over time, they gradually diverged and became distinct."
"So, if our seventh universe has an Earth, the sixth universe should also have one."
After the explanation, Whis guided Vados to locate the Earth in the vast sixth universe. However, the Earth in the sixth universe that Vados displayed lacked the signs of human life present in the seventh universe's Earth.
Champa, exasperated, asked, "Vados, quickly find out what's going on! Why is there no one on our universe's Earth?"
Vados traced back in time and soon discovered the reason for the Earth's demise. She said, "It seems that due to the outcome of a war, all humans on our universe's Earth perished."
Goku nodded in agreement, "Indeed, our universe's Earth has also faced multiple extinction crises. For instance, Vegeta once intended to destroy the Earth."
Hearing Goku's words, Vegeta elbowed him in the stomach, signaling him to stop talking nonsense.
Beerus burst into laughter and said, "Haha, Champa, if you want to eat Earth's delicacies, you'll have to come to my seventh universe. Rest assured, as long as you ask me, I, the God of Destruction, can grant you permission to visit our seventh universe. Haha..."
Champa, seeing Beerus' smug expression, became furious and shouted, "I challenge you! If I win, you must give me your universe's Earth!"
Beerus looked at Champa with a puzzled expression and said, "Are you crazy? Have you forgotten the rule that Gods of Destruction are not allowed to fight each other?"
"If it's a food contest, what can you compete with me in?"
Champa raised his plump finger and said, "No, no, no. As a law-abiding God of Destruction, I would never disobey the Grand Priest's orders. So, it's not a contest between the two of us. Instead, each of our universes will send out five representatives to engage in a series of battles."
Goku, standing nearby, became instantly excited upon hearing this. After almost a year of training on the Planet of the Gods of Destruction, he had only managed to defeat the weakling Frieza. He was itching for a one-on-one fight.
Moreover, the participants from the sixth universe would be from an entire universe, which meant there would be countless strong opponents.
Goku walked up to Beerus and urged him, "Beerus, please agree! I really want to fight."
In response to Champa's proposal and Goku's urging, Beerus flatly refused, "No, I reject it!"
Champa was puzzled, as Beerus had always been eager for battle. He asked, "Why?"
Beerus replied, "Because it offers me no benefit. Aside from the question of how you would move the Earth if you win, even if I win, I gain nothing. Why should I agree to this?"
Upon hearing Beerus' words, Champa smiled confidently and said, "You don't need to worry about that. I have seven Dragon Balls in the sixth and seventh universes combined. If I win, I will request the exchange of Earths between our two universes. And if you win, I will give you the six Dragon Balls I've painstakingly collected."
"These are the Super Dragon Balls that can grant any wish!"
"We have Dragon Balls here too. We don't need yours." Goku interrupted.
Champa immediately understood what Goku meant and replied, "I know the Dragon Balls you're talking about. Our planet Namek also has them. These Dragon Balls are actually made by the Namekians from fragments of the Super Dragon Balls."
"The Dragon Balls I'm talking about are a planet-sized Super Dragon Ball, the real one that can grant any wish. So, Beerus, do you agree?"
After hearing this, Beerus said, "Now I understand. So, that's why I ran into you on my way to Earth. You were trying to steal the Super Dragon Balls from my universe."
Champa, feeling a bit embarrassed, scratched his cheek but continued, "So what? I've already brought out the six Super Dragon Balls I possess. You just need to find the last one."
Beerus flatly refused, "Sorry, I still reject it. I'm not going to bother looking for the last Super Dragon Ball. It's too much trouble, and I don't have any wishes to make."
