Chapter 182 - Chapter 4: The Birth of Little Axel Doe

As soon as the battle began, the two of them started fighting fiercely. With the power of the Super Saiyan transformation, John Doe's strength was naturally greater than Goku's.

After a few rounds, John Doe quickly gauged Goku's strength. Although Goku's strength had improved significantly, it was still not as strong as Majin Buu's.

As time passed, Goku could not find any advantage over John Doe. Within a moment, Goku fell behind.

Finally, after John Doe landed a punch on Goku's chin, Goku fainted and returned to his normal state.

John Doe stuffed a Senzu Bean into Goku's mouth, and Goku immediately woke up. He rubbed his chin, although the injuries on his body had been healed by the Senzu Bean, the intense pain had left a deep impression on Goku.

John Doe said to Goku, "Alright, let's go back. You promised me that you would take care of Chi-Chi until your little son is born."

"Of course, I know, let's go back. Next time we meet, I'll definitely surpass you." After saying this, Goku teleported back to his home on Earth.

After seeing Goku leave, King Kai quickly came over and grabbed John Doe's hand, saying, "John Doe, thank you so much. That Goku fellow has been eating and drinking here all day."

"As King Kai, I can afford these meals, but I am King Kai, not his servant. Why should I cook for him? I'm so sick of him. Now that he's finally gone, I can finally rest for a while."

After hearing King Kai's words, John Doe suddenly thought of a question. With Chi-Chi's strong personality, why did she allow Goku to go and train when she was pregnant? Was it because Goku ate too much and Chi-Chi, with her big belly, didn't want to cook so much?

Or was it because Goku ate too much and the family couldn't afford it, so it was better to let Goku eat and drink for free at King Kai's place?

Which of the two reasons was it, or was it a combination of both? If so, by sending Goku back, was John Doe helping or harming Chi-Chi?

John Doe didn't dare to think any further and could only awkwardly bid farewell to King Kai and hurry back home.

"Knock knock... Android 18, open the door, it's me, I'm back." John Doe knocked on the door and called out.

Android 18 soon came to the gate and asked, "Have you completed the task I gave you? You're back so soon?"

John Doe replied, "Of course, you should see your husband's strength now. In a fight with Goku, he lost and stayed at home until Chi-Chi gave birth. If I lost, I would never bother him again."

"And the result?" Android 18 asked curiously.

"Of course I won, and very cleanly." John Doe said.

Upon hearing John Doe's words, Android 18 quickly opened the gate and then threw herself into John Doe's arms, praising, "You're so impressive, my husband. You're really amazing."

John Doe was very pleased to hear Android 18's words, but then he remembered his earlier suspicions and told Android 18 what he was thinking.

After hearing John Doe's thoughts, Android 18 also thought about it for a moment and then quickly pulled the phone line out of the wall. (It seems like there are no mobile phones in the Dragon Ball world?)

Her actions were so swift that John Doe was left stunned.

John Doe asked, "Android 18, what are you doing?"

Android 18 replied, "I think your analysis is correct. Chi-Chi allowed Goku to train with King Kai because of the two reasons you mentioned. Now we've done a good deed that has caused trouble. Chi-Chi will definitely call to scold us, so I'd better pull the phone line out first."

After hearing Android 18's words, John Doe immediately praised, "Wise wife."

Meanwhile, at Goku's house, Chi-Chi was sitting on the sofa knitting clothes for the baby. She was surprised to see Goku return so early and asked, "Goku, why did you come back so soon?"

Goku didn't answer immediately, but ran to the kitchen and asked, "Chi-Chi, is there anything to eat? I'm hungry."

Chi-Chi didn't think too much about it and went to the kitchen to prepare some food, which she then placed on the table.

Goku began to eat voraciously, and Chi-Chi, while telling him to eat slowly, asked, "Usually, don't you come back after eating at King Kai's place? Why are you back so early today?"

Goku stopped his actions and replied, "Oh, it was John Doe. He said I was bad, that it was irresponsible of me to go out and train when you were five months pregnant, so we had a fight. He won, so I came back to take care of you. If I had won, I could have continued training with King Kai."

"And the result?" Chi-Chi's face suddenly turned ugly, and she asked worriedly.

Goku scratched his head and said, "Haha, John Doe is really amazing now. I lost."

Upon hearing Goku's words, Chi-Chi's eyes went black, and she almost lost her balance. She then told Goku, "Goku, you eat slowly. I'll go call John Doe and Android 18 to praise them for their good deed."

However, her tone did not convey any gratitude, but rather, it was filled with anger. If John Doe and Android 18 were standing in front of her, Chi-Chi would probably fight with them.

Chi-Chi walked to the phone and dialed John Doe's home number, but no one answered on the other end. After several attempts, she became quite angry.

Chi-Chi sat back down at the table and told Goku, "Goku, don't listen to John Doe. I approved you going to train with King Kai. If John Doe complains again, I'll go talk to him."

"Really? Chi-Chi, thank you so much. After I finish eating, I'll go to King Kai's place. I'll work hard to train and then defeat John Doe." Goku shouted happily.

Chi-Chi also looked happy as she encouraged him, "Go for it, husband. You're the best. Once your strength is strong enough, you can teach John Doe a lesson and make him mind his own business with Android 18."

As time passed, Android 18's belly grew larger and larger. Finally, after ten months of pregnancy, Android 18 gave birth to a big, fat baby boy, whom John Doe named Axel Doe.

Holding little Axel Doe, and looking at Android 18 resting in bed, John Doe finally felt that he had a real connection to the Dragon Ball world. Because in the Dragon Ball world, he finally had something to care about, a complete family, and a sense of belonging.
