Trunks looked at John Doe and his father, Vegeta.
According to Vegeta's personality, he shouldn't have let Android 17 and Android 18 go, but after witnessing John Doe's extraordinary strength, Vegeta's attention shifted from the Androids to John Doe.
So, Vegeta had lost interest in the Androids, and when Trunks looked at him, Vegeta shook his head to indicate that there was no need to stop them.
Trunks was reluctant to let them go, even though everyone present was stronger than the two murderous demons. Why were they letting them go?
Trunks turned to the Androids and shouted, "17, 18, I have a question for you. After you leave, are you going to find a city and slaughter ordinary humans?"
Android 17 furrowed his brow and said, "Where did you hear that from? Why would we kill ordinary people? We have no grudges against them, so why would we kill them? We're Androids, but we're not crazy or mentally ill."
Trunks was taken aback by Android 17's words, as he could tell that the Android was not lying, and they wouldn't stoop to lying.
"But in the future, you're both murderous demons!" Trunks blurted out his secret of being from the future.
"The future?" Android 17 exclaimed, suddenly understanding. "That's why there's no information about you in Dr. Gero's files. You're from the future."
"It seems that in the future, I and 18 are extremely evil," Android 17 said with a sigh. "I apologise for the harm that the future versions of us caused you, but 18 and I cannot take responsibility for that. We are completely different individuals from the future 17 and 18."
"You can't blame us for their crimes, right? After all, in this world, we've just been released by Dr. Gero, and we haven't killed anyone yet. You can't judge us guilty before we've even committed a crime, can you?"
"If you kill us now, what's the difference between you and the future version of you?"
Trunks didn't know how to respond to Android 17's words, as they were completely right, but...
At that moment, John Doe spoke up, "It's okay, Trunks. We're all grateful to you. It's because of you that all of our futures have changed, not just ours, but also 17 and 18, and even 16."
"It's because of you that we've all changed. Perhaps it's because of your arrival that Dr. Gero didn't have time to fully transform 17 and 18 into the killing machines of the future."
"We should all be grateful for your arrival. You saved all of us."
After hearing John Doe's words, Android 17 and Android 18 also felt that John Doe was right. If Trunks hadn't come, Dr. Gero wouldn't have released them because he couldn't defeat John Doe and the others.
To better control them, Dr. Gero would have continued to modify them, and Android 16 would likely have been destroyed by Dr. Gero.
So, the three of them really should thank Trunks.
Android 17 and Android 18 stepped forward and said to Trunks, "As Mr. John Doe said, we should thank you. Because of you, we didn't become the crazy people of the future."
Android 16 also thanked Trunks, as he wouldn't have been destroyed by Dr. Gero if it weren't for him.
Trunks was flustered, as he had just wanted to kill them, but now he had become their benefactor, and he agreed with John Doe's analysis, feeling that John Doe's guess was likely the truth.
"No, I didn't do anything. Since you don't have the intention to kill ordinary people, I won't treat you as murderers. I'll let you go." Trunks stepped aside.
So, under everyone's gaze, Android 17, Android 18, and Android 16 slowly flew into the sky.
John Doe sighed as he watched Android 18's departing figure, feeling a bit lost, as if Android 18 disliked him!
After Android 17 and Android 18 left, Trunks and the others also prepared to leave. Vegeta approached John Doe and asked, "Who's stronger now, you or Kakarot?"
John Doe, who was staring blankly at Android 18's departure, replied, "It's probably a tie, depending on how we perform at the time."
"Damn..." Vegeta flew away, returning to his 300-gravity training room to continue his training, determined to surpass John Doe and Kakarot.
With Vegeta gone, there was no need for the others to stay, so they also prepared to leave.
John Doe suggested, "Let's go see Goku first. I wonder how he's doing now?"
Everyone agreed with John Doe's suggestion and followed Gohan to Goku's house.
At Goku's house, Goku's pain seemed to have subsided, and the medicine seemed to be working. Chi-Chi, seeing this, finally relaxed and put down the worry she had been carrying.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Chi-Chi opened it and saw John Doe, Krillin, and the others, with Gohan at the front.
"Gohan, are you okay? Let Mom have a look." Chi-Chi examined Gohan from head to toe, relieved to find that he was unharmed.
Chi-Chi then invited everyone inside, and the already spacious house suddenly became crowded.
Everyone looked at Goku and saw that his condition had stabilised, and they were all delighted.
However, just as they were about to leave Goku's house, they received a call from Bulma.
"Hello! Oh, it's Bulma." Chi-Chi answered the phone happily. "Yes, everyone's here."
"Oh, you're looking for Trunks? Hold on a moment!"
Trunks felt embarrassed when he heard his mother calling him, especially since he now knew that his identity had been revealed when Vegeta called him by his name.
Hearing Bulma calling him, he felt a bit shy, but he was also happy to be able to see his mother at a young age.
