Krillin witnessed the Great Elder's incredible ability to unlock one's potential, and feeling his own weakness, he immediately stepped forward, bowed, and made a request. "Great Elder, can you help me increase my fighting power as well?"
The Great Elder nodded and said, "Of course, young man. You are a kind person." He then placed his hand on Krillin's bald head.
In no time, a powerful aura erupted from Krillin's body, and he instantly transformed into Super Krillin.
John Doe smiled and joked, "Krillin, who would've thought that you'd turn this misfortune into a blessing and have your potential unlocked by the Great Elder."
Krillin was overjoyed and beamed with happiness.
Watching his Uncle Krillin's potential being unlocked, Gohan felt envious. Despite his diligent training for this battle, he hadn't been much help, and he even caused the death of Uncle Piccolo. Gohan felt a bit guilty.
Sensing Gohan's emotions, the Great Elder smiled and said to him, "You're Gohan, right? Do you want me to unlock your potential as well?"
Upon hearing the Great Elder's words, Gohan was overjoyed. But looking at the elderly Great Elder, Gohan hesitated. "Great Elder, I'm very grateful that you're willing to unlock my potential, but won't it drain your energy and affect your lifespan?"
Hearing Gohan's words, the Great Elder laughed happily and said, "You're such a kind child. But don't worry, unlocking potential is a form of superpower that won't affect my lifespan. I'm this old because my time is near."
"Come, young one, let me see how much potential you have!"
Hearing the Great Elder's words, Gohan happily walked over, and the Great Elder placed his hand on Gohan's head, using his ability to unlock Gohan's potential.
In no time, an incredibly powerful aura burst forth from Gohan's body, far surpassing Krillin's.
The Great Elder looked at Gohan with a hint of surprise and said, "It's a bit of a pity that my ability is limited. Gohan, your potential is immense, and I can only unlock a fraction of it. With diligent training, your future achievements will be limitless."
After helping everyone unlock their potential, Goku asked, "Great Elder, don't you have the Dragon Balls? Why don't you use Shenron to wish for a younger body?"
The Great Elder replied, "The creators of the Dragon Balls cannot use Shenron to grant wishes for themselves. It's a rule."
"So that's how it is," Goku realized. "No wonder Earth's God didn't use the Dragon Balls to regain his youth. It's not possible." Now he understood the key point.
As if struck by an idea, Goku continued, "But we can use Earth's Dragon Balls to help the Great Elder regain his youth. Now that Piccolo is resurrected, the God is back, and Earth's Dragon Balls can be used again."
Upon hearing Goku's words, Nail immediately looked at the Great Elder with eager anticipation.
The Great Elder smiled and said, "Thank you, Goku. Your suggestion is reasonable, but it's useless. Birth, aging, sickness, and death are natural laws that even Shenron cannot change. Although Shenron can restore my youth, he cannot extend my lifespan. When the time comes, I will still die. It's unnecessary."
"As the creators of the Dragon Balls, we should follow the laws of nature and not alter them at will."
Hearing the Great Elder's words, Nail couldn't help but lower his head in disappointment.
Sensing the somber atmosphere, John Doe quickly interjected, "Let's go. Let's head back to Earth. There are three Saiyans waiting for us to make a decision about their resurrection. Who to revive and who not to revive."
Son Goku agreed, "Yes, that's right. Piccolo, are you coming back to Earth with us or staying here on Namek?"
"I... I'm definitely going back to Earth. Compared to a peaceful life, I prefer fighting. And I've figured it out; following you, Son Goku, there's no shortage of battles." Piccolo replied.
"How is that possible? It's all because of John Doe that the enemies were provoked!" Hearing Piccolo's words, Goku immediately shifted the blame to John Doe.
John Doe quickly responded, "Nonsense! It's clearly you. Isn't Raditz your brother? Aren't Vegeta and Nappa your people? They came looking for you..."
Seeing that the two were about to argue like children, Krillin quickly stepped in and said, "Let's hurry back to Earth. The others are waiting for us there."
This stopped the bickering between the two, and after bidding farewell to the Great Elder, as John Doe prepared to use Instant Transmission, Goku said, "I'll do it. I'll take everyone back this time."
Then, holding hands, Goku followed the direction indicated by King Kai and found the auras of Tien Shinhan and Yamcha. With a single Instant Transmission, they returned to Bulma's home.
Seeing the resurrected Krillin and Piccolo, Yamcha and Tien Shinhan, along with Chaozu, excitedly hugged Krillin and jumped for joy.
Of course, no one dared to hug Piccolo.
After returning to Earth, Piccolo bid farewell to John Doe and Goku, stating that he was going to continue his training to defeat them.
John Doe smiled and said, "Piccolo, if you want to defeat us, you'll need to work hard. We're Super Saiyans now. Unless you can transform into a Super Namekian, you won't be able to beat us."
Seeing that his Uncle Piccolo was about to leave, Gohan was extremely reluctant to let him go. He walked up to Piccolo and stood there silently.
Looking at Gohan standing before him, Piccolo couldn't believe that he and John Doe and Goku had once been mortal enemies, but now they had formed a bond, and that bond was the child in front of him, Son Gohan.
Piccolo placed his hand on Gohan's head and comforted him, "Gohan, you must work hard in your training. Don't slack off just because I'm not around. I'll be testing you in the future."
"And I'm not leaving Earth. I'm still on the planet. You can come and find me anytime. I'll be at my usual place."
After comforting Gohan, Piccolo bid farewell to everyone and flew off into the distance.
John Doe sighed and said to Goku, "What a pity. You've lost a babysitter for your family."
Goku immediately replied, "Nonsense! Piccolo isn't our babysitter; he's my friend."
"Really? Then tell me, who's been taking care of Gohan for the past year, and who's been doing the chores at your house?"
Hearing John Doe's words, Goku thought for a moment and realized it was true. Embarrassed, he said, "It seems that's indeed the case."
Then, looking at John Doe, he smiled and said, "Piccolo's gone. John Doe, why don't you come and live at my house?"
John Doe waved his hand and said, "Never mind. I'll stay at my own house. I eat a lot at your place, but I also do a lot of work. I'm more comfortable living alone."
Hearing their conversation, those around them burst into laughter.
