Chapter 115 - Chapter 14: The Saiyan Invasion

No one, not even John Doe, had anticipated that their kindness would be repaid with such ingratitude. They had let the man go, and now he was planning to bring an entire army to invade Earth. Everyone's mood instantly soured.

Goku, in particular, gritted his teeth as he watched the spaceship disappear into the distance. "Damn that bastard! I shouldn't have trusted him," he said.

Just as they were discussing what to do next, a green figure descended—it was Piccolo.

After dealing with Raditz, they now had Piccolo to contend with, and everyone assumed he had come for revenge as well.

Goku, with a serious expression, turned to Piccolo and asked, "Piccolo, what are you doing here? Are you here to seek revenge on us?"

Piccolo shook his head. "I wouldn't be foolish enough to come after you before I surpass your strength. I followed that guy here."

"I heard your entire fight and your final conversation. I have to say, Son Goku, you were pretty stupid to believe the enemy's words."

Goku felt slightly embarrassed. It was true that he had been too trusting of Raditz, and now Earth was facing a dire situation because of it.

Krillin spoke up, "Piccolo, did you come here just to mock us?"

"Of course not," Piccolo replied. "I came to discuss how we should deal with the impending Saiyan invasion."

"This Earth belongs not only to you but to me as well. I haven't even conquered the entire planet yet, and I won't allow anyone else to do so before me."

"Especially that guy who was so arrogant in front of me. I'll teach him a lesson next time."

Krillin and the others couldn't help but smirk at Piccolo's words. It seemed he wanted to seek revenge because he had been bullied so badly.

Goku asked, "So, do you have a plan?"

Piccolo responded, "We'll face the enemy head-on. Let's find out when they plan to invade, train hard during that time, and then defeat them."

Piccolo's suggestion was met with disdain by the group, who had expected him to have a better plan. It seemed his idea was no different from theirs.

At that moment, John Doe spoke to Goku, "Goku, you should go to King Kai and ask him about the possible time of the Saiyan invasion. Meanwhile, the rest of us will create a training plan. We can train together or in groups to prepare for the upcoming Saiyan army."

Goku suddenly remembered something and said, "Wait, didn't Raditz say that there were only four Saiyans left, including me? Where is this army coming from?"

Piccolo replied, "You're really naive. There are only three Saiyans, but that doesn't mean they don't have any subordinates. Raditz's arrogant tone indicates that he's a force to be reckoned with in the universe. So, we can at least be certain that their underlings are weaker than him."

"Therefore, we only need to deal with those three Saiyans. If the remaining two Saiyans are as strong as Raditz, I believe we can easily defeat them."

After hearing Piccolo's analysis, everyone nodded in agreement, finding his reasoning sound. However, Goku noticed that John Doe's expression was still filled with concern. He asked, "John Doe, what's wrong? Why do you still look so serious?"

John Doe replied, "The Saiyans' strength may be average, but what if they've joined a powerful force in the universe? Even if they're only minor leaders within that force, their strength could be formidable."

"Is that really likely?" Krillin asked, puzzled. "Would Raditz, with his arrogant attitude, submit to others?"

"What if the opposing force is incredibly powerful, far beyond our imagination?" John Doe cautioned.

Goku immediately thought of the Frieza that John Doe had encountered in space. He asked, "John Doe, are you talking about..."

"I hope not," John Doe said. "Goku, you should go to King Kai and confirm if he has any answers."

With that, they returned to Kame House, while Goku went to seek information from King Kai.

In the distant reaches of space, on a planet that was almost completely destroyed, Nappa and Vegeta sat among the ruins, leisurely enjoying a barbecue and relishing the aftermath of their battle. Their armor was scarred and marked with the remnants of the intense fight.

Nappa spoke to Vegeta, "Vegeta, did you hear Raditz's conversation with Kakarot? I never imagined there would be so many strong fighters on that tiny Earth. Do you think we should help Raditz?"

Vegeta swallowed the meat in his mouth and said, "I'm not interested in avenging Raditz. What intrigues me is how a lower-class warrior like Kakarot could achieve such high combat power on a remote planet."

"And I want to learn their method of controlling their combat power."

"When should we leave?" Nappa asked.

"Let's go after we finish this meal," Vegeta replied.

Nappa continued, "Should we gather some of our men? After all, they have more people."

"Hmph, those men are just Frieza's lackeys, assigned to keep an eye on us. In normal circumstances, I wouldn't mind, but this time it's about our combat power evolution. Let's not involve Frieza."

"Raditz, with his mere 1,500 combat power, was no match for them, as expected. I estimate that the strongest among them has around 10,000 combat power. And we can still transform into Great Apes, so they won't be a match for the two of us."

With that, the two of them quickly finished their meal and boarded the egg-shaped spaceship, heading towards Earth.

Meanwhile, Son Goku had arrived at King Kai's planet.

Ever since teaching Son Goku the Kaio-ken and the Spirit Bomb, King Kai had been keeping a close eye on his disciple's progress.

When Son Goku reached King Kai's planet, King Kai was using the two antenna-like protrusions on his forehead to scan the universe for the other two Saiyans and the Frieza Force.

The results of his search finally allowed King Kai to breathe a sigh of relief.
