Chapter 65 - Chapter 38: Four Demon Fists and Kamehameha

Tien Shinhan stood not far from John, beginning to unleash his energy. His muscles bulged significantly, making John's physique appear somewhat slender in comparison. It was clear that Tien Shinhan was preparing to use a powerful technique, though John was uncertain of its specifics; however, he knew it would likely involve one of Tien Shinhan's signature moves.

As Tien Shinhan's aura grew larger, suddenly, bulges began to form on his back as if new arms were sprouting from it. These protrusions expanded until they became two additional arms.

After completing this transformation, Tien Shinhan took a deep breath and announced, "Four Demon Fists!"

The audience, including the other top eight contestants, gasped in surprise. The saying goes that two fists can hardly contend with four hands; now it felt as if there were two Tien Shinhans battling John.

John expressed his interest, saying, "That's quite an effective technique! I'm getting more excited; I feel I can fight you with twenty percent of my strength now."

This remark infuriated Tien Shinhan. "Twenty percent? You arrogant brat! Enjoy your confidence while you can! I'll grab your limbs and tear you apart!"

At this moment, the host kindly reminded them from the side, "Remember, this is a friendly exchange match; killing will result in a loss."

"Shut up!" Tien Shinhan shouted angrily at the host. "If you keep talking, I'll tear you apart first!"

The anger in his voice startled the host, who quickly jumped off the stage and hid to the side. John watched the host flee and smiled at Tien Shinhan. "You'll find out soon enough what it's like to fight me."

With that, John charged forward and threw a punch at Tien Shinhan, and they engaged in battle once again. However, as they fought on, Tien Shinhan began to feel something was off. With four arms at his disposal, he should have had the upper hand. Yet, he couldn't seem to break through John's defenses. Could it be that John was genuinely only using twenty percent of his strength?

The more Tien Shinhan fought, the more he doubted his own abilities and began to suspect that John's strength was far beyond what he had anticipated.

While Tien Shinhan grew increasingly frustrated, the spectators were thoroughly entertained by the match, feeling that this year's World Martial Arts Tournament was indeed worth attending.

Master Shen observed his most powerful disciple being overwhelmed by a member of the Turtle School and began to devise a plan. Using telepathy, he sent a command to Chaoz still present at the venue.

"Chaoz, use your psychic powers to control that John! The Crane School must not lose to the Turtle School."

Hearing his master's command and seeing Tien Shinhan being completely suppressed on stage motivated Chaoz to take action and help his friend.

Having made up his mind, Chaoz opened his hands and pointed at John. Just then, John sensed something amiss and swiftly dodged Tien Shinhan's attack while firing a ki blast toward Chaoz's direction.

With a loud explosion, the ki blast struck the ground where Chaoz stood, sending him flying before he could unleash his psychic powers.

"Tien!" Tien Shinhan shouted in concern upon seeing Chaoz get hit. He then attacked John furiously while yelling, "Why did you attack Chaoz?!"

Not wanting to play around any longer, John suddenly unleashed his full power with a sweeping kick that knocked down a frenzied Tien Shinhan before delivering another kick to his head that sent him flying.

The immense pain caused Tien Shinhan to dispel his Four Demon Fists technique as he lay on the ground groaning in agony.

John approached him and said, "I attacked him because he broke the rules by attempting to use psychic powers against me."

"Is that reason enough?"

Without hesitation, Tien Shinhan replied defiantly: "Impossible! Chaoz would never do such a thing!"

John continued calmly: "What if it was your master Master Shen who ordered him?"

At this statement, Tien Shinhan paused for a moment before his expression changed dramatically; he realized that Master Shen could indeed do something like that.

Suddenly John said: "I can see that you are someone who truly loves martial arts; your techniques lack deceit or murderous intent. You are not aligned with Master Shen—leave him behind! Don't follow him down a misguided path; return to the essence of martial arts."

Hearing John's advice made Tien Shinhan reject it outright: "Stop talking nonsense! Do you think you've won? You want me to take your last move?"

With that, Tien Shinhan soared into the air using Sky Dance Technique and crossed his arms as energy began to gather between them.

Master Roshi immediately realized what technique Tien Shinhan was preparing and shouted at Master Shen: "Are you crazy? You're letting him use such a dangerous technique! Do you want to get him killed?"

Master Shen coldly replied: "He's my disciple; how I teach him is none of your business! Besides, who lives or dies is yet to be determined!"

Soon enough in mid-air, Tien Shinhan had gathered enough energy between his hands. Perhaps due to some awakening of conscience or because of John's earlier words, he warned John: "My next move will be incredibly powerful; I advise you to stay away."

John smiled slightly inwardly thinking about how Kamehameha was indeed a formidable technique early in Dragon Ball but depended on who it was used against.

With this thought in mind, John bent slightly forward and positioned his hands in a flower shape at his waist.

Recognizing this familiar stance immediately alerted Master Roshi and Goku; they knew what John was about to unleash. Not fully understanding John's power level yet, Master Roshi shouted: "Don't do it! Kamehameha can't compete with Kamehameha Cannon!"

However, John ignored him and calmly uttered those four words: "Kame—Hame—Ha!"

A powerful aura flickered between John's hands; realizing John's Kamehameha was already surpassing Tien Shinhan's Kamehameha Cannon made Master Roshi stop speaking out of concern.

In the sky above, seeing John standing firm without dodging while preparing to counter with Kamehameha against his Kamehameha Cannon—and sensing that John's energy was indeed stronger—forced Tien Shinhan into action. He shouted: "Kamehameha Cannon!"

In an instant, a brilliant wave of energy shot from his hands toward John as John simultaneously unleashed Kamehameha in response.
