Fer's pupils shrank slightly in surprise at what lay before his eyes. In the inventory of the white drop, there was only one item, but for FER, that item was something that could now solve the problem of the second mod for weight and unlimited grids.
The only item in the inventory of the white drop was a blueprint for wooden stake walls. This blueprint made Fer very happy because with it he could complete the second mod for weight and unlimited grids.
The reason was very simple: you should know that right now at level 1, he cannot build any structures until level 2 when he can make a thatch foundation. But this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that these wooden stakes are unlocked at level 10, and now he has them at level 1.
The most important thing is that this is what he needs most right now because the wooden stake walls can repel many small dinosaurs and some medium ones, but these wooden stakes are useless against dinosaurs large enough to ignore them due to their size and strength.

Before Fer could think of anything else, his ears twitched unconsciously. Fer turned to see what that sound was, and when he turned, he saw a dinosaur he didn't want to see at that moment.
"A DILOPHOSAURUS!" Fer screamed, running to his right with all his strength, trying to dodge the dilophosaurus, which was about four steps behind him.
However, Fer saw that the dilophosaurus had its eyes fixed on him. Its head crests stretched out, making it look even bigger, and with a sharp roar, the dilophosaurus opened its jaws and spat a dark green ball about 5 centimeters wide in Fer's direction, just meters away.
Fer saw the dark green ball speeding towards him. If he didn't move within one or two seconds, he would be hit by the dilophosaurus's venom. The impact of this venom would be deadly, not only dealing significant damage but also slowing his speed by 50% and almost completely blurring his vision.
Fortunately, when he heard the sound behind him, he ran to his right, which luckily helped him dodge the venom by mere inches.
Fer suddenly remembered he had a special spyglass in his quick-use bar from 0 to 9. With a thought, Fer saw a circle in the center of his vision, and when he aimed at the dilophosaurus with the circle, information appeared in his view in a light blue rectangle.
Dilophosaurus level 5
Gender: Male
Tameable
Health: 338/338
Stamina: 180 - Weight: 52.2
Oxygen: 270 - Melee Damage: 140%
Food: 810 - Speed: 100%
Torpid: 0/140
All of the dilophosaurus's stats appeared in the corner of Fer's vision. Although the vertical rectangle was in the upper corner of his view, Fer could see it as if it were directly in front of him.
When he saw that the dilophosaurus was only level 50, Fer was relieved, knowing it wasn't too high-level. You should know that levels can range from 150 to 450, not to mention cave dinosaurs that can reach levels 600 to 800.
Fer didn't know what difficulty level he was in, but he knew that level 50, even on easy, was quite manageable.
Fer braced himself against the dilophosaurus; instead of retreating, he approached with a stone pickaxe in both hands. Since this was reality, Fer discovered he wasn't limited to just one hand like in the game, so he took advantage of this to fight with double damage.
Seeing that its venom shot had missed, the dilophosaurus roared in anger and lunged toward this being it had never seen but emitted a scent that drove it almost mad, saliva dripping from its knife-like teeth.
Fer didn't rush or waste energy by running forward to attack. He waited for his opponent to approach at a calculated distance. When the dilophosaurus got close enough, Fer didn't wait for it to react.
With a swift movement, Fer swung both stone pickaxes toward the dilophosaurus's skull, which couldn't react in time, and with a thud, two light green numbers with black outlines appeared a few inches from where the stone pickaxes had struck.

Upon impact, the dilophosaurus staggered briefly before recovering its lost balance for a second or two. The damage from the stone pickaxes only made it more aggressive in its fury at being hurt.
Fer saw the dilophosaurus's health bar drop from the original 338 to 274 remaining health. Since he had hit it right in the head, that 32 damage was actually critical damage because the pickaxe only dealt 16 melee damage.
Fer didn't let his guard down just because its health had dropped a little. On the contrary, he was now waiting for the dilophosaurus to spit at him again. After hitting it with the stone pickaxes, he moved back to a safe distance, and as he had predicted, the dilophosaurus spat at him again.
Since he was prepared, he easily dodged the venom ball, running again towards the dilophosaurus and swinging his right hand upward, where the tip of the stone pickaxe struck vertically at high speed, impacting the underside of the dilophosaurus's jaw, which instinctively raised its head.
Fer didn't waste the opportunity of the dilophosaurus being stunned. With his free hand, he swung the other stone pickaxe, which struck the left side of the dilophosaurus's face. It could do nothing against the second attack.

The dilophosaurus's health dropped again, now down to 210 from 338, and Fer once again retreated to recover some of his stamina, which had dropped by 70% but was constantly regenerating after being still for a second.
After a few more rounds of back and forth, Fer finally managed to kill his first dinosaur. With a roar, the dilophosaurus fell to the ground with several wounds on its skull and a few scratches on its now-lifeless body.
Fer also had a deep cut on his right arm. The wound was about 20 centimeters long, running along his entire forearm. Fer had never experienced such a serious injury in his life. The pain was almost unbearable, feeling like waves of agony.
Fortunately for him, the pain only lasted a few minutes thanks to his body's natural healing, which recovered his wounds at a rate impossible on Earth. And since he was well-fed, his recovery speed was even faster.
The attack from the dilophosaurus had taken nearly a third of his health with just one hit. He was lucky to know how to handle the situation and kill the dilophosaurus in time. If the dilophosaurus had landed three or four more hits, he would have been done for.
This made Fer more aware of the dangers, and his determination to become stronger and survive was fortified.
