On the way home, as Albert was driving Cynthia, she felt something was off. After a while, she turned around and looked at him. Sure enough, she saw him with a cold expression, silently driving without saying a word.
"Are you angry?"
She tilted her head, looking at his stiff side profile, and quietly asked. He responded with a cold grunt from his nose, and she immediately understood.
If he hadn't picked her up from the back door of the TV station today, she would have probably been pelted with eggs at the front door. He was angry because she didn't listen to him and quit her job to go back to being a doctor. If she had, she wouldn't have been hurt like this.
But she couldn't help it. Not long ago, her brother had a huge fight with Bonnie, and her brother even stopped coming to the mainland for a while. How could she just leave the TV station and Bonnie behind like that?
