James didn't stop them. With his hands in his pockets, he stood there, watching them with a smile. Then, shaking his head, he turned and walked toward the study. This tug-of-war ultimately ended in the crushing defeat of their leader, Diago.
In the study, Diago was fuming, his beard bristling in anger. Leaning casually against the doorframe with his arms crossed, James added fuel to the fire with a sarcastic remark:
"Diago, have you had enough of this fuss?"
"Shut up!"
Jared suddenly roared, grabbing a pen holder from his desk and hurling it at James.
"Get lost! Don't show up in front of me again until you give me a grandson!"
Here we go again! James had a headache but didn't bother dodging, knowing full well that with Diago's current strength, the pen holder wouldn't even reach him. With a sigh, he turned around and walked off, tossing back a reply as he left:
"I'm leaving!"
