Albert's phone call came from Lucca. He and Lucca had barely kept in touch recently. One reason was to avoid arousing Karl's suspicions, and the other was because their relationship had ended, and he didn't want to get tangled up in it anymore.
On the phone, Lucca's voice sounded somewhat hysterical.
"Albert, because of her, everything has been exposed. Where does that leave all the years of endurance and hard work we've put in?"
"The Lancaster family could have been eliminated a long time ago, but you refused to act. The only reason is that you didn't want to separate from her. Now, look what's happened. You've alerted them. The Lancaster, Laurence, and Danny families are now aligned, fully armed, and ready to take you down!"
A cold chill immediately crossed Albert's face, and there was an added iciness in his voice.
