Chapter 13 - Morning Mischief and Royal Requests

Mike woke up to the soft glow of morning sunlight streaming through his window. He stretched lazily, still half-asleep, when a knock on the door interrupted his drowsiness.

"Good morning, Mike," Mira's voice chimed in as she stepped into the room, carrying a tray of breakfast. But it wasn't the food that caught Mike's attention, it was Mira herself.

Her outfit was something else entirely. A dangerously short, form fitting dress clung to her figure, barely reaching mid thigh. The neckline plunged scandalously low, showing off more than Mike was used to seeing. The silky material shimmered as she moved, revealing her legs with every step. Thin straps held the dress together, leaving her shoulders exposed. As she approached, Mike's face flushed.

"M....Mira, w....what are you wearing?" he stammered, his face heating up, his eyes wide.

Mira gave him a sly smile, clearly enjoying the effect her outfit had on him. "Oh, this? Just something I threw on. Do you like it?" She placed the tray on the table beside his bed and leaned closer to him, her lips brushing his ear. "You're looking a bit red there, Mike."

Mike swallowed hard, trying to focus on anything but the way her dress hugged her every curve. "N....no, I mean, yes, it's.... nice," he stuttered, struggling to keep his cool.

Mira chuckled softly, her fingers grazing his arm as she pulled back. "You're adorable when you're flustered."

Before Mike could respond, the door creaked open again. Lyria and Elara walked in, their eyes immediately drawn to Mira's outfit. Both girls exchanged glances, and Mike could sense the tension in the air.

"Well, what do we have here?" Lyria asked, her voice dripping with amusement. She gave Mira a once over, raising an eyebrow. "Trying to impress someone?"

Elara smirked, crossing her arms. "Looks like someone's a little desperate for attention."

Mira didn't miss a beat. "Oh, please. You're just jealous," she said with a playful wink, running her fingers through her hair.

Lyria's eyes narrowed, but she wasn't about to let Mira win this round. "Jealous? Hardly. I don't need to dress like that to get Mike's attention."

Elara nodded, nudging Lyria with a grin. "She's right. It's a bit much, don't you think?"

The playful bickering escalated as the girls teased each other, comparing their appearances and throwing lighthearted insults. Mike, caught in the middle of it all, felt his face grow even redder. He cleared his throat, trying to calm the situation.

"Alright, alright, enough," he said, raising his hands in surrender. "Mira, Lyria, Elara I appreciate all of you. There's no need to get jealous over this."

Mira shot him a playful look, stepping back. "We're just teasing, Mike. But thanks for the reassurance."

Lyria and Elara exchanged knowing glances before smiling at him. "As long as we're all on the same page," Lyria said with a smirk.

The tension eased, though the playful rivalry still lingered. It was clear they all enjoyed teasing each other, and Mike couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the attention.

Later that morning, Lyria and Elara headed off to the bathhouse while Mike and Mira went to visit the children's graves. The walk to the graves was somber, the atmosphere heavy as they stood quietly before the resting place of the children. Mira held Mike's arm, both of them reflecting on the loss.

Meanwhile, in the bathhouse, Lyria and Elara were enjoying a much lighter moment. The warm water and soothing steam filled the air as they soaked in the tub, letting their worries drift away.

"This is so relaxing," Lyria sighed, leaning back against the edge of the tub. "We needed this."

Elara, sitting beside her, nodded in agreement. "Definitely. But you know....…" she trailed off, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

Without warning, Elara leaned over and gently touched Lyria's boobs, giving it a playful squeeze. Lyria's eyes widened in surprise, and she gasped, splashing water in response.

"Elara!" she squealed, her cheeks turning pink as she swatted her cousin's hand away.

Elara giggled, flicking water back at her. "What? You always look so serious. I'm just helping you relax."

Lyria huffed, her blush deepening. "Relax, huh? Two can play that game."

With a smirk, Lyria leaned forward and returned the favor, touching Elara's boobs in retaliation. Elara yelped in surprise, splashing more water at Lyria as both girls burst into laughter.

"Alright, truce!" Elara said, holding her hands up in surrender, still giggling.

The teasing continued for a while longer, the bath filled with their playful banter. They enjoyed the lightheartedness of the moment, their bond growing stronger as they laughed together.

Afterward, Mike and Mira returned to the palace for lunch. When they arrived, they found Lyria, and Elara already seated at the dining table, waiting for them. The atmosphere was much more cheerful now, and the group shared smiles and laughter as they ate.

During the meal, Elara leaned forward and addressed Mike. "You've done so much for the kingdom, Mike. Is there anything you'd like as a reward?"

Mike hesitated, unsure of what to say. But before he could answer, Lyria smirked and cast a spell without anyone noticing. Her magic allowed her to see what Mike was thinking, and under the spell, he accidentally blurted out, "I'd like to see you all in.....… animal outfits."

The room fell silent, the girls all staring at Mike in shock. His face turned bright red as he realized what he had just said.

"I....I didn't mean it like that!" Mike stammered, trying to backtrack.

But it was too late. Lyria, Elara and Mira all burst into laughter.

Elara raised an eyebrow, smiling playfully. "Is that what you want, Mike? To see us in animal costumes?"

Before he could protest further, the girls disappeared to change. When they returned, Mike couldn't believe his eyes.

Lyria was dressed as a fox, her outfit tight and revealing, with a bushy tail swaying behind her. The fabric clung to her figure, her hips partially covered but enough skin exposed to leave little to the imagination. She strutted confidently, her fox ears twitching playfully.

Elara followed, dressed as a sleek black cat. Her costume hugged her body, and her feline ears perked up as she flicked her imaginary tail. "How do I look?" she purred, giving Mike a playful wink.

Mira wasn't far behind, sporting a bunny costume that accentuated her long legs. Her outfit was just as revealing as the others, with a fluffy tail and ears completing the look. She twirled around, giggling at Mike's reaction.

The girls eyed each other's costumes, jealousy creeping into their expressions. Mira pouted, her eyes narrowing at Elara's outfit. "Why does she always look the best?"

Lyria crossed her arms, nodding in agreement. "It's so unfair. She's making the rest of us look like amateurs."

Lyria sighed, flipping her hair. "I'm still the favorite," she said, her competitive streak showing.

Mike, blushing and flustered, couldn't help but laugh. The scene was so ridiculous, yet so lighthearted, that he couldn't help but enjoy it. The girls continued to tease each other, commenting on their costumes and throwing playful jabs, all while Mike watched in amused silence.

As the day came to a close, Mike and Lyria prepared to return to their kingdom. But as they left, a mysterious figure watched them from the shadows, whispering softly to herself.

"Everything is ready."
