The mission was long and tedious, making the disciples cry out in joy when they saw the familiar grounds.
Lin Fan was just as glad when he arrived at his same old lovely wooden hut.
It stood as it was, far away from the sect, next to the woods in the back mountain.
A corner that was tranquil and quiet.
Ho Jie's eyes opened wide when he saw Lin Fan return.
"How was everything?" Ho Jie asked as he poured a cup of tea for Lin Fan.
"We had some close calls, but we are all right. Ho Ming might come over for dinner later," Lin Fan replied as he took a small sip of tea from the teacup.
"Good to hear. Let me prepare something good for dinner," Ho Jie nodded and got to work.
Lin Fan sat and took stock of what he would have to do next.
