Kaprice rolled clear of a clawed swipe with her dress snagging on a jagged rock as the burburu's appendage narrowly missed her. She sprang to her feet with her sword glinting in the dim battlefield light, and she swung in a tight arc. The blade sliced cleanly through the air and forced the creature to rear back.
