The evening wore on, and Kapri found herself falling asleep until she heard a slight knock at her door. Her eyes opened, she looked at her phone unsure of what the time was. When she glanced outside she still could see the town.
"It's not time yet," she muttered to herself, before she slowly slid off the bed then opened the door to a female demon in a dark gray, plain dress. To Kapri, she appeared to be around eighteen, but she could have been around 90 years, which is relatively young for them.
"Dinner's ready," the young demon mumbled, her eyes not even meeting Kapri's before she rushed off without even leading her to the dining room.
Kapri rubbed the sleep out of her eyes in confusion, before she looked down the hallway and saw that Nyxith and Kavi's room door was slightly ajar. They had already left ahead of her, and she noticed the influx of servants in the castle all of a sudden.
When she finally able to navigate to the dining hall, she found Nyxith and Kavi sitting at a long table that was set with rich dishes and steaming platters filled with food from the middle world. The mouthwatering scent of smothered oxtail, peas and rice, and even lamprais caught her attention.
Someone did their surface level research.
Kapri took a seat at the table, the atmosphere was delicious but the tension was thick. Kraxil settled in a corner of the dining room looking uneasy, as his eyes fell to the floor. Suddenly, there were the crashing of something in the next room.
"What's wrong?" she asked looking towards the goat demon.
"Count Lirael is here." He simply said.
Before the dining room door swung open, and a couch suddenly started flying towards her. Nyxith jumped in front of Kapri before she sliced it apart with her sabre, the pieces crashing off into a statue and paintings.
Kavi's eyes widened, she smiled seeming impressed by Nyxith, and she jumped beside Kapri to defend her from the demon. It walked in towering over everything, its figure was cloaked in tattered in white wings. His face was partially covered by tendrills that looked like mouth attenaes and his long white hair flowed behind him making him look a lot like a Moth, like Dazriel showed her in her head. This has to be Countess Lazrael brother.
"Why are there humans being served my food in my home?!" He yelled, Kraxil trembled in the corner not even bothering to explain. It seem the demon had the sort of temper where it can't be explained to.
Kapri stood up as she pushed herself in front of Kavi and Nyxith, as he picked up one of the chairs around the dining table.
"Is this how a Count should act? I was told you were the epitome of regal and civility, is this false?" Kapri said, preferring to try to deescalate with words rather than fight. But like she said, if they have to they will spill blood.
The Moth Demon lowered the chair, as he looked at her. "I'm Baroness Kaprice Voss, I came here to discuss about trading with Countess Lirael to help combat the famine in your county," she said. "Will you grant me that?"
"I will not, but I will grant you another chance at life if you leave my castle first thing when the ash clears," his voice boomed throughout the dining hall. "I don't house humans."
"Wait, Count Lirael," she said standing up to go behind him, ut Kraxil slammed the door behind Count Lirael as he leaned against the door in near relief.
"No, do not push your luck," Kraxil said, as he sighed. "Please, take his rare account of mercy and just avoid him until the ash clears."
"Sorry, I hope we didn't get you in trouble," Nyxith said, as she placed her sabre back into her sheathed as she sighed.
"You're quite skilled for a lady-in-waiting," Kraxil said walking back towards the table, and sitting with them as they all sat down along to eat.
"Being part of the LDRA, many of my subordinates happen to be skilled in combat," she lied, not wanting to suspect anything if she said she brought others from LDRA. "I happen to be quite the swordsman too."
"Really? Why don't we past the time with a little sparring tomorrow?" Kraxil said to them.
"Yeah, that'll be just fine," Kapri chuckled. "Just don't leave a scratch on my ladies and I'll have to desl with you."
"I'll make sure," he muttered.
"By the way, why is it that Lirael dislike humans so much. Like until the point where he can't even stand our presence. Are that bad?" Kapri teased as she leaned against her palm.
"In fact, yes," Kraxil said, though not clarifying what he doesn't want to talk about. "That's why I'm skeptical you're just here for trading business. Humans are slightly less worse than demons."
"Like I said, I came to assist with the famine in this county. In exchange for alliance outside of our connections to Dazriel, of course. Being the baroness of such a powerless barony is difficult," she said calmly as she tapped her finger against the top of the table trying to make her lie believable.
"Quite bold and pragmatic," Kraxil replied. "I'm still amazed, still I wonder whether you're a ghost, because it has to be impossible to survive multiple demon wars as you have. A baroness deserving of her title indeed."
"Many rumors are exaggerated," Kapri said, as she lifted ice water to her lips to drink.
He leaned back against the chair. "You're right, but you're different. What is it that you truly seek?"
"To survive as long as possible," she chuckled.
Dinner concluded, Kapri and her subordinates retreated to her room, where they discussed what went on. As the door closed behind them, Kavi crashed onto her bed.
"That was so scary," she said her voice muffled against the pillow. "And what happaned to Sergeant, he wasn't at dinner."
"I'm guessing because he's not nobility he was left to dine with the servants?" Kapri said as she sat on the edge of the bed trying to send a message to him again, but there was still no signal. "We have to be careful to avoid Count Lirael at all costs. If you do, just get out of here, whether you have to leave the Sargeant and I behind."
"Are you sure?" Nyxith asked her, and Kapri nodded her head.
"Tonight, you two head to the library and start looking around. I'll make sure Sergeant is alright," she commanded them. "Remember when the ash are so thick you can't see the town. Now go back to your rooms."
Kapri went into the in-suite bathroom and washed her body as she questioned what had happened today. Then she wondered how they'll handle Lirael if he does decide to attack them.
"I apologize for my behavior," Kapri eyes widened as she saw the count walked in the bathroom and closed the door. Then she relaxed, noticing he wasn't angry, but seem genuinely apologetic. "I'm not fond of humans."
As he walked towards her, his form struck and his features and insects face, and revealed a handsome face with very soft features. His eye gleamed with silver, and an unreadbale expression as his white eyelashed fluttered close.
"You seem fond of me," she said noticing his eyes softened when he saw her face earlier. He obviously wants to sleep with her. "You have a nice face when you aren't tossing things at me."
His naked body was covered by a thin veil of fabric from his button up shirt and black pants as he stepped closer to the tub. Kapri looked up at him calmly, as she leaned her head into her balled fist.
"Lord Dazriel has said a lot of good things about you," Count Lirael said. "Quite so, that I've pushed my disgust aside and became quite curious."
He slowly stepped in, her eyes stayed on his eyes. She knew she had to take one for the team for now. "Curious about?" She smiled, as she lightly bit her pinky nail as his white hair floated above the surface of the water.
"How you taste that makes he not able to shut up about you," he said pressing his palm against the side of her face.
Kapri held his gaze, her pulse quickened as he pressed her head against the side of the tub. Obviously, she knew what might be coming and was she wrong.
His breath brushed against her neck. She was almost ashamed of the anticipation that was building up and stretching out as his sharp teeth grazed against her thin skin. Her body jolted, and she winced out softly when he pierced the side of her neck. It was sharp, and sent a hot flash of pain through her body and a tingling sensation that aroused her.
Count Lirael wrapped his fingers around her wrist and pinned her in place. The blood slowly trickled down her neck, her chest, and into the water blending in with it.
"Not too bad," he murmured as he pulled back. His pale lips stained with her blood as he licked them hungrily.
Her hand flew to the wound and brushed against the puncture. It wasn't too bad, it was small enough to heal within a day. "Lord Dazriel won't be happy if you kill his knight," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. The slightly tremors in her fingertips would have given her away.
Count Lirael's silver eyes gleamed, amused by her words. "Of course, I won't kill you. I don't mind until I'm satisfied with you, though. You don't mind, do you, Lady Voss?"
Kapri chuckled as she leaned back. "Have you ever been told no?"
"Not often," he admitted. His hand moved to unbutton his shirt, the fabric slipping from his shoulders to reveal a slender frame. His skin seemed to glow in the low light with his body devoid of any muscle she expected he might have because of that show from earlier. Instead, he had the lithe build of something that hunted by being cunning rather than by force.
"You know me more than I thought," he said, his clothes splattering onto the ground as he dropped them out of the tub.
Her eyes flickered downwards, noting the thing that would seem like it was heavy for him connected to his pelvis. Like it didn't belong on his body, before her eyes looked up again into his gleaming eyes.
Why are demon's dicks so big?
Her mind also raced with possibilities. She could play along with him, use that to her advantage, or—she wasn't quite sure. She had her mission in mind, and just like Jugo wanted, her and her team's survival were to always be forefront
"Your curiosity could be your downfall, you know," she replied, her voice steady despite the adrenaline surging through her. She couldn't afford to show weakness, especially now. "There's a reason Lord Dazriel can hardly keep me from his mouth. Humans aren't to be trifiled with so easily."
Count stepped closer, the water lapping around him and his presence commanding though he looked close to an angel rather than a demon.
"And you're entertaining my curiosity, is that not just as dangerous?" He mused, as he knelt down right in front of her. His voice soft and dripping with malice.
"Besides, I'm aware of how you humans are, that's why I can't stand your kind. You're aware you're a little different," His eyes flickered, and Kapri could see the flicker of something deeply malicious within him— his instincts trying to break that facade of nobility he tried to maintain.
"Different enough to bite?" she chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "You must be so bored in this castle."
"Lonely?" he echoed, a hint of amusement in his tone. "Hardly. I have my duties and my responsibilities to uphold. And most importantly my libido," He tilted his head, studying her. "Can you even stand the thought of it? With a demon?"
She watched him closely, trying to gauge his intentions as her heart pounded then she burst out laughing. His smile faltering a little.
"You trying to entertain your curiosity by thinking I'm a human who maintains her morals? You think you would be the first or last demon I've bed?" she muttered with a small smile on her face. "Besides, I'm here with my own agenda, Count, not just to be fucked."
"And what might that be?" he asked, leaning closer until his chest was pressing against her breasts. His scent was earthy, with a hint of something floral, like night-blooming jasmine that grew in her garden.
"Obviously survival, first and foremost. I came here to aid your sister county with its famine that you guys try to keep under wraps. Not to play doctor in a tub with her brother," she sighed as she leaned her head against the edge of the tub. She tried to sound confident, but her mind raced.
He chuckled lowly and deeply, causing ripples in the water. "And yet, here we are. You seem to enjoy this little game, or else you wouldn't be teasing me like this."
"Teasing?" she replied in confusion, another smile crept onto her lips. "I'm merely stating facts. I can keep my eyes only on what matters, you're the one losing focus for a human woman. It's cute, like CCC member with a crush on an earth-toned human."
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted, with Count Lirael amusement faltering with a newfound intensity to her disrespect. She looked back at him with faltering, despite what she said, and his bravado seemed to tempered. "You're quite bold, Lady Voss. Speaking to me like that and thinking you'll live."
"So, kill me," she tilted her head to the side smiling.
"No," he leaned over her, his hands pressed against the tub behind her. Then he lowered his mouth to her lips. " I don't think I will."
Though, she knew what was going to happen she was still startled by his lips on hers. It was forceful, but controlled. Her face heated up as she melted into the kiss, trying to match his intensity. She could feel his cold hands on her thin back, they trailed down her spine and settled on her lower back.
Her eyes widened as she quickly pushed him away. The demon looked at her amused with the fear that was on her face as she pressed her hand on his chest. His incredibly long tongue pulled out of her mouth as he chuckled at her thoughtful eyes.
"I knew it," he muttered. "You are quite entertaining."
Kapri heart pounded, but she managed a smile. "And there's a little more to you than short temper and sharp teeth," she replied. "Though, your timing could use some work."
Count Lirael eyes narrowed, but he didn't respond with anger. He shifted, his hands slid down her arms and gripped her hips underwater. "Is this okay?" he asked, and she nodded her head.
"My timing?" he continued as if he was contemplative. "I'm not concerned with timing, Lady Voss. We demons live a long time, so I have all of it in the world. Right now, it's time for you to be mine."
Kapri watched with knowing eyes, he dipped beneath the surface of the water and his hands gripped tightly against her thigh. Kapri gasped at the sensation of his tongue, her back arched involuntarily as his white hair floated and brushed against her skin. She felt rush of heat rise over her body and she responded just as he wanted, despite her best efforts to stay composed.
Her thoughts scrambled, and she gripped the edge of the tub with her fingers pressing against the smooth porcelain as she struggled.
This freaky ass de— her thoughts were interrupted as soft moans escaped from between her lips. Her nails dug into the top of his head as he worked her body with his tongue.
"P-please," she exhaled, her voice shaky as she tried to keep herself from sliding further into the water. His tongue work was overwhelming, and despite her best efforts her moans became louder.
He surfaced moments later, his silver eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he watched her regain herself.
"Please what?" he cooed mockingly, he leaned in so his lips were inches from hers. His fingers tightened on her hips as he pinned her in placed while the water sloshed around them.
Kapri bit her lip, unable to form any words from her lips without it sounding shaky. He leaned in closer, his lips grazing against hers as he whispered, "Say it. Say what you want? Do you want me inside you?"
Her hand reached out for his hair, as she yanked his head back. With relentless look in her eyes, she leaned in, with her lips brushing against his neck.
"Don't stop until I cum," she commanded, her voice low and firm. His eye widened briefly in surprise, before his lips curled into a depraved grin.
He exhaled, "As you wish, Lady Voss."
