Chapter 1 - Prologue : The move that decided the Fate of the universe.

~Boundless power and intellect belong to the strong; in other words, gods.~

Torrential waves of cosmic energy surged through time and space like scissors slicing through fine fabric, carving paths across an ethereal chessboard that stretched to the farthest corners of the universe. Planets and asteroids were reduced to mere grains of sand as they moved across the board's surface, where chess pieces of colossal magnitude stood firmly in strategic positions. These pieces did not merely occupy squares but vast stretches of reality itself.

Two figures, shrouded in deep darkness, sat on either side of the chessboard. Though they were eons of light-years apart, to them, it was as if they were only a meter from each other. Their eyes, glowing with the brilliance of countless suns—one purple, the other blue—locked in an unspoken contest of wills. The game they played was no ordinary one; it was a cosmic game of chess, with the fate of the universe at stake.

With each flick of their fingers, a chess piece moved, sweeping along planetary nebulae and forming black holes in its wake. These titanic disruptions, though capable of reshaping the cosmos, were insignificant to the players—mere wisps of air, unworthy of attention.

"Give up now. Your fate is already sealed," the figure with blue eyes said, his voice reverberating through the known universe. The one with purple eyes remained silent, focused entirely on the game. "Look," the blue-eyed figure continued, "you are in a precarious situation. Every move you make only worsens your position. Forfeit, and let us end this meaningless scuffle."

The purple-eyed figure smiled faintly as he moved his king. "A desperate move, don't you think?" the blue-eyed figure mocked. "It changes nothing." With a swift motion, he moved his rook, placing the king in check. "Your only option is retreat. See? I told you—it's futile."

The game continued, and with each passing move, the purple-eyed figure seemed to fall further into disadvantage, while the blue-eyed figure laughed heartily, his laughter breaking through time and space.

"It was a good game," the blue-eyed figure said, his voice echoing. "I enjoyed myself, and I would have loved to play with you again. But for the sake of the universe, I will make sure this is the first and last time."

The purple-eyed figure interjected, "What are you yapping about? The game is far from over. Have you forgotten? I still have the next move."

The blue-eyed figure scoffed. "What can you possibly do? It's just another futile move. Let's see where this resistance leads you."

Without responding to the mockery, the purple-eyed figure moved his queen.

"For what?" the blue-eyed figure sneered. "A truly foolish move." He quickly devoured one of the purple-eyed figure's pawns. But in the very next moment, the blue-eyed figure found himself in a precarious situation.

The game continued, but this time, the blue-eyed figure was no longer as talkative as before. His focus had shifted entirely to the chessboard. In the next moment, he called out, "Checkmate," his voice carrying a hint of relief. "For a moment there, you actually posed a threat," he said, a smile creeping onto his face. "But in the end, the outcome was decided from the beginning."

The purple-eyed figure said nothing. He stared at the chessboard with a peculiar gaze, his expression unreadable.

"Not accepting your own defeat?" the blue-eyed figure mocked. "Is it that hard to believe you've lost?"

The purple-eyed figure looked up, meeting the blue-eyed one's gaze with calm eyes. The blue-eyed figure felt a strange unease as the silence lingered.

"You're right," the purple-eyed figure finally said. "I am in disbelief. But not because of my loss—rather, I'm surprised by how short-sighted you are. Look at the board. The game isn't over."

"What?" The blue-eyed figure's eyes widened as he looked down at the board. The purple-eyed figure's king had moved out of checkmate, defying the rules of the game.

At that moment, the fabric of the universe trembled violently. Suddenly, one of the purple figure's pawns advanced to the final row of the opponent's territory and transformed into a queen. In the next instant, a blinding light erupted from the newly crowned queen, piercing through space.

"No, you don't!" the blue-eyed figure shouted, stretching out his arm, trying to grab the shrinking speck of light as it moved forward. But before he could reach it, the purple-eyed figure stopped him, their powers clashing with titanic force.

Meanwhile, the small speck of light continued its relentless path, traveling at the speed of light, piercing deeper and deeper into the known universe.
