Chapter 22 - Who's your Kind of Woman?

Yuki stood there, watching him intently, her arms crossed over her chest. After a long moment of silence, she let out a soft sigh.

"Before we move forward, dear Ryosuke, there's something I need to know."

Ryosuke frowned, caught off guard by the sudden change in tone. "What do you want to know, Auntie?"

Her expression was serious, almost grave. "The world of Jujutsu," she began calmly, "is a dangerous place. Terrifying, really. And to be honest, I still question whether it's a good idea to bring you into this."

Ryosuke's mouth opened, ready to protest, to tell her that he could handle it, that he wasn't afraid. But Yuki, anticipating his reaction, raised a finger, silencing him before he could speak.

"Let me finish," she said firmly. "This isn't about bravery or strength. You've already crossed a line you can't uncross. You're a Jujutsu sorcerer now. That's something you can't escape, even if you wanted to." Her voice softened slightly, but the seriousness remained. "But before I make my final decision about how to train you, there's one thing I need to know."

Ryosuke, still confused, stared at her, trying to make sense of what she was leading up to. "What is it you want to know, Auntie?"

Yuki took a deep breath. Her usually calm face turned mysterious, her eyes sharp. "Ryosuke... what's your type of girl?"

The silence that followed was heavy.

Ryosuke froze, his eyes wide with shock.

"Huh?" he finally blurted, clearly not expecting that question.

He stared at her, utterly bewildered, but Yuki, still completely serious, crossed her arms again, nodding slightly as if she'd just asked the most reasonable question in the world.

"You heard me," she said without a hint of hesitation. "I want to know what type of girl you like."

Ryosuke shook his head, struggling to process her words. "What does that have to do with Jujutsu? I don't see the connection..."

Yuki sighed, as if she'd been expecting this exact reaction. "I know it might sound ridiculous, but trust me, this question is more important than you think. The kind of person you're attracted to says a lot about who you are. It reveals your values, your hidden desires, and most importantly, it sheds light on your true personality."

Ryosuke still had no idea where she was going with this. He scratched the back of his head, clearly uncomfortable. "I... I don't really get it... What does that have to do with everything we've been talking about?"

"In the world of Jujutsu," Yuki began, "there's something you need to understand. To survive in this cruel world, you need a bit of madness. If you're not a little eccentric, a little weird, the world will make you that way — but in the wrong direction."

Ryosuke blinked, confused. "The wrong direction?"

She nodded. "Jujutsu isn't for 'normal' people, Ryosuke. It's not a path you can walk without it changing who you are at your core. If you don't have a little craziness in you from the start, this world will break you. It will force you to become insane, but in a destructive way. You might lose yourself."

She leaned closer, her eyes piercing. "That's why I'm asking you this. What's your type of girl? It'll tell me if you have that spark, that little bit of madness, the eccentricity that will help you survive this world without losing who you really are."

Ryosuke opened his mouth, but no words came out. He had never imagined that a question like this could carry so much weight. He felt suddenly vulnerable, thinking about such personal matters in such a serious context. But he remembered that in the manga, this was part of Yuki's quirky personality. If she said it was important, then it must be.

He averted his eyes, feeling embarrassed. After a long pause, he finally muttered, his voice hesitant, "Well... I guess... I like girls who are kind... and caring. Someone with a good heart, you know?"

Yuki raised an eyebrow, as if considering his answer. She stayed silent for a moment, looking thoughtful. "Kind and caring, huh?" Then, she nodded slowly. "Hmm, interesting. That's a good start, but we're going to need to dig deeper than that."

Ryosuke, still uncomfortable, wondered what she meant by that, but didn't dare ask.

Yuki turned slightly, her gaze drifting to the forest around them. "This world is full of challenges. And to get through it, you need to be not only strong but a little crazy, like I said." She looked back at him, her eyes softer now. "Questions like this, as silly as they seem, can reveal things about yourself that you never even realized. It's important to know who you are and what you want because that knowledge will protect you when the Jujutsu world tries to swallow you whole."

With that, Yuki crossed her arms again, and the silence between them grew heavy.

Ryosuke felt nervous, trapped by a question he had never been prepared to answer.

"What's my type of girl?"

A/N:

I'm sorry for mixing up the chapter titles earlier. I also noticed that some of you prefer longer chapters, despite having one chapter a day. I've thought about it, and I believe I'll stick to the current format. I feel the chapters are easier to digest as they are. However, what I could do is occasionally release a third bonus chapter, especially on special days or when there are big announcements. Thank you again for your support, everyone. Honestly, I'm just looking for visibility and an audience for my original novel that's coming soon, but I'm really touched that you're enjoying this fanfiction so much. Let's keep the adventure going!

See you all soon!
