At an exclusive charity gala in New York, Lisa Anderson, a talented fashion designer from a modest background, debuts her latest collection. Despite her growing success, she remains grounded and fiercely independent.

At the event, she catches the eye of Marcus Blackwood, a notorious billionaire playboy who takes what he wants. He approaches Lisa with his usual arrogance, expecting her to fall for his tricks, but she brushes him off. Marcus is intrigued by her resistance, setting the stage for an ongoing clash of personalities.

"Lisa, they're loving it! Look at their faces!"

Jane, Lisa's best friend whispers nudging at Lisa with an unfading smile.

Lisa glanced at her models strutting down the runway in her designs, catching glimpses of approving nods and whispered admiration.

Lisa mumbled smiling at her friend.

Before Lisa could respond, her eyes caught the piercing gaze of Marcus Blackwood across the room. The man of every woman's dream. He stood by the bar, drink in hand, his powerful presence impossible to ignore. His gaze was locked on her, a smirk playing on his lips as if he already owned the room and everything in it.

"Oh no. Marcus Blackwood. Do you think he's looking at you?" Jane whispering to Lisa.

Lisa smirked rolling her eyes, unimpressed.

"Let him look. He's used to getting what he wants. Some spoilt billionaire brat, all I know is I don't care."

As the final model left the runway, Marcus began to approach, his gaze still fixed on Lisa. Jane leaned closer, her excitement barely contained.

Jane grinning with desperation to watch what is about to unfold, knowing her friend's attitude, never giving in so easily. "This is going to be fun to watch."

Marcus stopped in front of Lisa, towering over her. His smirk widened as he took her in from head to toe.

"You must be Lisa Anderson. I've heard a lot about you. Marcus confidently says.

Lisa met his gaze, unimpressed by his smooth tone mockingly says "I'm sure you've heard a lot about yourself too. Flattery isn't necessary."

Marcus chuckled, clearly entertained by her resistance.

Marcus leaning in, slightly smirked.

"I admire a woman with confidence. But let's be real. Every woman has a price."

Lisa's jaw tightened, her eyes narrowing. She stepped forward, meeting his challenge head on with a froun crossed her face.

"I'm not for sale, Marcus Blackwood." Lisa firmly say with a growing impatient circling around her body.

The tension between them was thick, drawing curious glances from nearby guests. Jane watched in disbelief with her eyes widen as Lisa turned away without another word, leaving Marcus standing in stunned silence. He wasn't used to being dismissed, especially not by a woman like Lisa.

The place burst into murmuring, as most of the women were thrown into shock to see the man Every woman crave for being snubbed and humiliated in that manner.

Lisa Walking out of the hall met Jane as they both grin walking side by side.

Jane whispering excitedly

"That was epic! He didn't see that coming."

Lisa calmly intoned being less concerned.

"He's not worth my time."

Marcus looking in a deadpan expression as Lisa Walks away in disbelief. Throw his hands into his pockets with a thought "this is just the beginning Lisa Anderson. My eyes on you. Smiling at the ladies staring at him. As he walks away.

But as they left the gala, Lisa couldn't help but feel Marcus's eyes burning into her back. She knew this wouldn't be the last time they crossed paths.

A few days after the gala, Lisa was back in her studio, focused on her next collection.

The rhythmic hum of the sewing machine filled the room as Lisa worked on the final touches of a gown.

Sunlight streamed through the windows of her small studio, casting a warm glow over bolts of fabric and scattered sketches. Jane sat at the counter, scrolling through her phone, occasionally tossing in bits of gossip.

Lisa smirked without a sign of breaking.

Before Jane could respond, the door swung open, and the air in the room shifted. Marcus Blackwood, dressed in a sharp, tailored suit, stepped inside like he owned the place. His dark eyes scanned the room briefly before settling on Lisa. Jane's mouth dropped open in shock, but Lisa remained unfazed.
